Looking for a little something to spice up a plot? Here are a list of player created games that the characters on SotE may play! If you have come up with a game idea, feel free to Contact Rhi-Rhi with the details!
HAZARD
The game of Hazard is an all-or-nothing, high stakes game where you don’t choose your bet, your opponent does.

Based on cards, players face off against each other and test their luck and skill. An almost unlimited number of players can be in any one game, and the more present, the higher the stakes.

The steps of the game are as follows:

1. All players must agree to play
2. Each player rolls a die, and whoever rolls the highest number goes first. The order there after follows down the die, whoever had the second highest, third highest, etc
3. The person going first demands a bet from each of the other players. This continues through the players until the last person has demanded bets.
4. The players are dealt cards and they play against one another
5. The winner takes all

Hazard is a highly honor-based game. Once you agree to join in a game, you are not allowed to back out. You are allowed to decline 3 times max (per player) when a bet is demanded, as long as you have not already demanded a bet from them first. If you have already demanded a bet from a person, then you MUST accept their demand when it’s their turn to demand one from you. If your bet is declined (within the other person’s 3 time max) then you CANNOT demand the same bet from that person. All bets are final, and you are honor bound to give what you owe to the winner. At no time are you allowed to back out of the game, no matter what the bet against you is.

Example:
Players Baron, Kurtis, and Henry agree to a game of Hazard.

They all roll, Kurtis gets high number, Henry second highest, Baron third highest

Kurtis makes demands -
To Henry:
Demands Henry’s sister
Henry declines
Demands 3 bars of gold
Henry accepts
To Baron:
Demands Baron’s eye patch
Baron agrees

Henry makes demands -
To Kurtis (who now cannot decline):
Demands one of his prized horses
Kurtis must accept
To Baron (who may still decline):
Demands his home
Baron declines
Demands his statue collection
Baron declines (2nd time)
Demands his coin collection
Baron declines (3rd and final time)
Demands his silver inlaid walking cane
Baron must accept

Baron makes demands -
To Henry (who cannot decline now):
Demands a month’s stay in his summer home
Henry must accept
To Kurtis (who also cannot decline now):
Demands his ranch full of horses
Kurtis must accept

Now, each person has a set of bets that they must give up if they lose. They are as follows-

Kurtis:
One prized horse, his entire horse farm

Henry:
3 bars of gold, month’s stay in his summer home

Baron:
His eyepatch, his walking cane

They play, and the Baron wins. This means two things-
A) He does not have to give up his eyepatch and walking cane
B) He wins the prized horse as well as the entire farm, 3 bars of gold, and a month’s stay in Henry’s summer home

The game is complete, the losers get nothing.

Special Conditions:
In some cases, it is possible to word a bet in such a way that even if you lose, as long as the other person does as well, you will win.
An example:
Kurtis demands from Henry that ‘You be my servant for a week’
As long as Henry loses, that bet goes to Kurtis
If Kurtis had worded it ‘You be a servant for a week’
Then whoever won would have gotten Henry as a servant for a week
This only works for these types of demands. Demands involving items are still fair game to all players.
Kurtis could not have demanded that Henry ‘Give me 3 bars of gold’
