The creature being stunned by both Rhianne and Dao's kicks, let loose its hold on the slayer's neck, before going after the vampire instead, lunging for his throat with scaled, clawed fingers. Rhianne also was in action, leaping up to land a kick at the creature's midsection which hit, the monster grunting as a result, but still intent on going after Dao.
Quickly unsheathing her holy sword, the light from it briefly illuminated their attacker. It was definitely another one of those poisonous creatures from upstairs. Out of the corner of her eye, the woman saw three more coming their way down the tunnel, although it was still difficult for her to make out the shapes fully. Rhianne cursed some more, before she went after the one in the lead, swinging her sword expertly at its neck to behead it, leaving Dao to deal with the first one.
