After the whole bit with the Dragon flying overhead, the morning walk became a little more lively, filled with people chatting about the sighting. It may not have been an uncommon appearance, but it was still something impressive to see, it was the type of thing that one never really got used to. To an extent, Adallindis could understand that. It was like a Knight of high recognition riding through town. People stopped, stared, and then chatted about that sort of thing. Though whether they had good or bad things to say would depend entirely on several factors...
In this case, Serendipity and Adela weren't on bad terms, and this was a border town focused primarily on trade, no less. Most people didn't have bad things to say, or if they did, they at least had the mind not to be too vocal about it. Still, it made her sigh a little. She missed the chance for a relatively quiet walk through the town before it's day truly kicked off.
"Ah well...", Adallindis quietly uttered. At least there was a silver lining, it didn't take her too long to find Cynbel. The man certainly stood out in most crowds for a variety of reasons, not that it bothered Adallindis in the slightest. She would soon join his side.
"I take it you're going to see that Dragonrider as well?", she would then query of her traveling companion. Adallindis had to admit that she was pretty eager to meet one as well, though such visitors were not unheard of at her own home, they were still quite rare. Not too many had business with House Graza unless it was to oversee a Rite of Inheritance, for example.
And the rarity of the Rite didn't help matters much there. Still, they were treated as guests of honor when they did come. But this was a chance to meet a Dragonrider outside of such a formal setting. It was a bit interesting to think about. Though her emotions still seemed rather subdued, Cynbel could probably see the signs in her.
The way her eyes focused, and that slight smile on her face. He'd probably seen that more than a few times. Nonvul'Kendov'Jun couldn't help but muse on that for a moment, this was a girl with a Dragon's Soul tied to her very being, and yet she was still just as excited to meet a Dragonrider.
