He glanced at his companions on horseback. "Alternatively, if you've any weakened or injured crewmen we can restore them to full strength, or if you need the help of an animal of some kind it could easily be arranged."
Sometimes, he wished he were free to "pay" someone like Blackheart by letting him live. Most of his people believed bullying to be counterproductive in the long run, but Dulcian sometimes suspected it was the only language bullies understood. He'd never honestly gotten to try it and see for himself, after all. His culture, his clan and his parents' values were too important to him to risk crossing that line.
