Bloodmoon sprinted down the side of the ridge. She had critically wounded a bear, and was following a trail of blood. She was close now. As the dead beast came into view, her vision went red. Before she knew it, she was staring down at the mutilated corpse that was once her prey. Bloodmoon shifted back to her human form. Se stared down at her bloodied torso. "Dammit," she cursed under her breath. Getting out of a hunting frenzy spotless was evading her more and more lately. knowing that there was a creek nearby, Bloodmoon headed further down the ridge. With the creek stretched out in front of her, she gingerly removed her clothing and waded into the shallow water. She bathed quickly, scrubbing the blood out of her fingernails and washing her black hair for good measure. She scrubbed her clothes as best she could, and was laying them out to dry when she heard approaching footsteps. Quickly, she grabbed her clothing and dove into a cluster of bushes nearby. Four hunters came into view. "The blood ends here," One of them gestured to the creek. "So the beast who found that bear was smart enough to know it had to wash off the blood. Whatever beast do you think could've mutilated a fully grown male Grizzly and escape without being tracked?" another one looked at the rest of them warily. "I've seen this kind of scenario before. Gents, we're looking for a werewolf." The first one says. All of the hunters look around and at each other, their eyes more alert. "We'll have to be very careful from now on. Keep your eyes sharp. It could be anywhere." The first one began heading across the creek, and the others followed suite. They passed Bloodmoon's bushes to her relief and headed further into the forest. When she was positive they were gone, Bloodmoon slipped on her clothing although they were still wet. She channeled her Vampiric energy and speed-ran for 30 miles. She didn't stop until she reached a small village in a clearing. She went into the dingy little tavern, looking over her shoulder occasionally, and sat down in at a table in the farthest corner of the room, ordering nothing. It was time to wait for her companions.
