1. Characteristics
It's leaves are emerald green, shiny, and have jagged edges on them. The leaves are smooth and thin as paper. It grows on the trunk of trees, feeding off of it's nutrients, but never requiring enough to kill the tree. In the center of the plant is a flower. It is a beautiful purple color and has pink on it also. It sparkles and shimmers in the light. It smells very sweet and good. But, when it flowers from spring all the way into summer, it shoots poison barbs at anyone who strays too close (about 3 feet). It will kill the person within 6 hours if not treated. They can sense the pressure of someone's feet on the ground from the tree's roots that they are attached to. The cure for the potion is to grab a leaf from the plant that shot the barb/s at them.
2. Life-cycle
It releases seeds by shooting them in random directions. They can fly in the air for a while, and have barbs that latch onto trees. It lives until it's tree is killed, or it is removed completely from the tree. They hibernate in the winter and fall.

It is found in any jungle-like enviroment.
4. Habitat
It likes damp, dark, jungles. A little light sure won't bother it, though. It will die if it doesn't get alot of water.
5. Uses?
The plant's barbs are highly poisonous. If someone managed to get them from the plant, they could be used by shooting them at someone. Oddly enough, the plants' leaves are quite good for you if you eat them, and make a delicious tea. The tea is known to have medicinal value, curing coughs and fever. It can be sold for a rather high price, for it is difficult to obtain the leaves and barbs.
