Reply To the sea we go!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To his amazement, "Mr. Hobbles" managed to reach the sea with only minimal stumbling. Then again, after the amount of walking it took to get from Adela to the sea, one would only expect he would get used to operating with his currently dead foot.
...Although, all that success was soon thrown out the window as soon as he stepped into the loose sand. In his whole life, he had never seen any creature, human or beast, walk gracefullyâ€"much less run gracefully!â€"through the white sand that lead up to the shimmering shoreline, and with his added condition...well, it was just a recipe for disaster.
Halfway to the shoreline, Hatame plopped down in the sand rather gracelessly, and drew his legs in indian style as though to make his fall look like it was done on purpose. And maybe it half was. Aside from his uncooperative foot, the pain from his curse was acting up a bitâ€"though, of course, he'd never admit it. He had, after all, done quite a lot in the last few days, and now it was catching up to him. Damn curse. Making him feel like an old man when he was scarcely the human equivilant of twenty!
"Well, here it is!" he announced to Sakkata, glancing up at her.

An otter surfaced a little ways out to sea and proceeded float on it's back and allow the current to push it to shore, from all appearances completely oblivious to the humans on shore. Upon reaching the beach the otter shook vigorusley, spraying water in every direction. When the oh so observant creature finally noticed the two humans a few feet away it gave an indignant yip and jumped back several feet. From there it watched the couple, its big glassy amber eyes huge. Amber? yes the otters eyes were definitly golden in colour.

Sakkata had followed Hatame the whole way, never once making any rude comments. That was something, since she found his numb foot -which she had caused- quite amusing.
When he finally plopped down, if not gracefully, she arched an eyebrow at him. "Smooth." She said calmly before breezing by him, her dragon-shaped feet sinking into the sand. However, she managed not to stumble, trip, or stagger at all.
So much for not being graceful on sand.
Her skin was a pale blue color, and a long, muscular dragon's tail protruded from her spine, smooth and ever twitching. Her hands had claws instead of nails, and her ears were abnormally long and pointed. Eyes with slitted pupils scanned the expanse of blue, blue water. Hair white as snow was tied back in a loose braid, a few strands done in braids hanging at the sides of her humanoid face.
Arms crossed, she simply stood and stared out at the water and the endless sky touching it. "Amazing." She murmured, her tail finally still for once.

A movement was seen off in the distance, nothing more it seemed than a simple ripple in the waves. Under the water the agile creature made her way towards the shore, hoping to find the sea creature she had left naught but an hour before. She moved until her webbed feet touched the sand at the bottom and her head stuck out on top of the water. She looked around and saw the strange creature standing by another creature. What it was she didn't know. Then she saw something more familiar, an otter. She didn't move closer though, just incase the two land creature's moved towards her.

Hatame stuck his tongue out at her back as she breezed by him without so much as a single stumble! "Show off," he murmered beneath his breath with a smirk, throwing in a final taunt before the ocean before him could subdue him.
Quietly, he surveyed the sight before he and Sakkata, watching with bright emerald eyes as the waves swept up onto the shore before retreating with a sigh, and as the sun danced off the many facets of the ever-moving waters. And, for a moment, he almost forgot where he was. For a moment, it was almost as though he were home...
He shook himself, Sakkata's comment snapping him from his brief reverie. "Yeah, I know...man, can't believe you've never been here. Deprived thing..." he mused, and, slowly, rose to his feetâ€"and got quite the surprise. Feeling was graduallyâ€"finally!â€"returning back to his foot, much to his relief. But, for now, he paid it no mind. He'd announce that victory to the world later.
"You can get closer to it, y'know. It doesn't bite...though some things in it might," he teased, walking past her with much less difficulty than before.

The sea elf stood in the water, watching the pair as the one who was sitting approached the water. She dove and swam back up a moment later, moving back as she did so. She did nothing but watch most of the time.

"Deprived? Me? Naw." Sakkata said with a light snicker, her tail twitching behind her yet again. As he breezed past her, she couldn't help one snowy white eyebrow arching. His foot feeling better already? Darn.
"Coming, coming." She muttered, shaking her head and following him towards the ocean. The rippling blue shattered the light and cast it back in an array of colors. She could only imagine what this place looked like at sunset. The beauty of it would be blinding.
She stopped with just her toes barely getting wet by the water lapping at the beach. She went no farther.

Feather was visably upset. She jumped up, yelled something in a strange tongue and dove back under. She then appeared slightly 2 feet closer, her webbed toes touching the sand under the water more fully now than they had before.

Reply Evil.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He watched her watch the ocean scenery in silence, noting how she only just touched the water, and how she seemed so entranced by it all.
Well, the mischievous and just plain evil side of him had just the cure for that! Besides...it'd serve her right for beating on him so much. Even if that was mostly the fault of he and his sometimes masochistic tendencies. Well, no, he actually didn't like pain at all; he just managed to get himself in a lot of situations that ended in that, in one way or another. After years of living with his curse, a lot of it didn't really bother him that much, at all.
He stood near her, though still a bit behind her, and for a few moments simply watched the ocean, as well. And then he acted on his impulses...and unceremoniously pushed her forward and into the water.
Well, that oughta get her to loosen up a bit!

OOC: It's still me, Feather! ... Neee, how come your not acknowledging(sp?) Feather? She's getting pissed off at you :P
Feather's eyes widened in shock as one of the creatures shoved the other one into the water. She threw herself back in half-surprise, half of the fact that she didn't want to get squished. She then decided enough was enough, and after the creature had fallen, she dove under and swam a few paces to the left and then came above the water. She walked towards land until finally she was standing in the dry sand, standing not too far from the creature who pushed the other one in. The dry sand didn't stick to her skin and it seemed as though she wasn't wet at all. Speaking in the tongue of sea elves she asked them something, and then in broken english she asked,
'What do you want?'

(eek, sorry! i thought the charrie was further away, and not as close. )
Sakkata let off what sounded like a shriek as she fell face-first into the water. She came up sputtering and coughing, shaking her head to get her drenched hair from her face.
She then let out a hiss.
"Hatame!!"
Her clothing was officially plastered to her form, which ment she was more than hesitant to now get out of the chilly waters.
Damn him!!
She turned to glare at the stupid gryphon, and her sharp gaze shifted immediatly to the new comer. "I came here to see the ocean. That idiot there came to get his ass kicked." She answered, grlowing at Hatame after wards.

Feather put a hand through her hair, which seemed to move as though it was still under the water. She sent the woman a confused look after her words were spoken then asked in the same broken english as before, 'Other what languages speak you?'

Hatame was trying hard not to laugh and to look completely innocent when Sakkata came back upâ€"a very hard feat for one who was rarely ever innocent, if ever. Thus, he failed miserably at this, especially when the source of Sakkata's hesitance to get out of the water registered fully.
He burst into laughter, and the only thing that kept his upright and standing was the knowledge that he'd probably be needing to run soon.
Calming himself, he snickered at Sakkata's reply to a creature he hadn't before noticed, then grinned impishly at her. "And you know I'd like it, love," he commented sweetlyâ€"and made sure to back up a few paces afterward. Only then, when he was sure he was safe at least for the time being, did he turn his attention back to the new-comer, quirking an eyebrow slightly. Where'd she come from? Well, of course he wouldn't have noticed...he had been too wrapped up in Project: Torment Sakkata to have noticed a new arrival.
"Languages? Well, in my case, whatever the native tongue here is called, and a bit of the little known and rarely used ancient Gryphon. Dunno what the case is with the drowned rat over there," he added with a grin, glancing over at her and knowing good and well she'd have to get out of the water if she wanted to pummel him.

OOC: your gonna have to talk using smaller words, she knows very little english and has the speech (in english)of a 10 year old.
Feather just looked surprised at the one creature who just spoke. Well, less surprised and more confused.

Sakkata snarled irritably, but still had to sit in the lapping waters. She wasn't so sure she wanted to risk standing in a wet green vest and off-white pants.
She twitched.
Nooooo, don't think so. Especially not in front of Hatame! She snarled again.
"Drowned rat?!?!" She shouted, eyes widening. She then hissed, and in it was a mixed growl. It was anything but human.
"You'll pay for that one!" One palm jerked towards the sky, and a ball of blue-white flame appeared.
Magick, anyone??
This ball of flame was suddenly hurtling towards Hatame, not big enough to kill, but big enough to cause a hell of a lot of pain if it hit.

Hatame stared at the suddenly mute creature, blinking bright green eyes in confusion of his own. Ooookay. This was kinda odd. Wait...maybe she didn't understand? Her English had been kind of funny. He started to relay her the message in simpler terms, but then stopped dead as Sakkata's angry voice reached his ears, along with that inhuman growl. He cringed.
Uh oh...she sounded pissed. That couldn't be too good aâ€"OH SWEET HELLS!
As soon as he saw the orb of flame hurtling toward him, he threw himself down and to the side, and, lucky for him, escaped with a burn across his left side rather than what he imagined would have been a rather nasty burn all over. Crouched down on the sand, he rubbed his side sorely, and found the flesh there exposed where the flame had burned through the fabric of his shirt.
"Good gods, woman, it was a joke!"

"JOKE!?" Sakkata roared back. "I CAN'T GET OUT OF THE DAMN WATER NOW!!!"
She was, quite simply put, pissed.
Some part of her found all of this insanely funny, but at the moment, the fact she was stuck in the ocean near sun-down was over ruling all other emotions. She was stranded!
Grr....damn that Hatame...ugh!!

Sakkata's roared instantly took Hatame's mind off his aching side and brought it back to the comical situation at hand. What more was an extra ache, after all?
He smiled sweetly at her from where he was, and feigned innocence. "Can't get out of the water? Are you stuck? Do you need help?" he asked her, rising to his feet with a slight wince. Ah well...a little extra pain was well worth this! This was bloody hilarious!
"You know, I wouldn't play in the water for too long, now. It's starting to get dark, and some nasty critters visit the sea at night..." he told her, smirking mischievously.

Sakkata flat-out glared at Hatame, her slitted pupils hardly visable, leaving her eyes as seas of icy blue. She was so angry at the moment she was speachless. She couldn't have come up with a retort if she had wanted to.
Basically, the only thing going through her head was: 'Damn him Damn him Damn him Damn him Damn him Damn him Damn him Damn him Damn him Damn him Damn him Damn him Damn him...' and so on and so forth.
"Can you see in the dark?" She growled finally, the sun almost completely out of view behind her.

Hatame continued to watch her with that innocent expression plastered to his face, though his mouth twitched, wanting to curl into a smirk. Man, lucky for him looks couldn't kill, or he'd drop dead on the spot!
Her question, however, piques his curiosity, and before he answers he immediately runs it through his mind to try and see if it's a trick one. After all, she did look pretty homicidal right now, and he had half a mind to think that if he replied no, she'd try and murder him or something. But then the source dawns on him. Ohhhh, riiiight...
That does it, and he starts to snicker despite himself. Heh heh, in that case, she just might kill him no matter what the reply!
"Heh...ah...well...yes and no," he told her, smirking. "I can see in the dark fairly well, but, eheh, if you're worried about me looking..." He smirked devilishly. "No worries, I'm not tempted. Yet."
