Emia smiled as Timea did, the two of them sharing a wide grin before heading off in the direction of the bar for real this time... At this point, Emia didn't care if her father was worried or angry, if she grounded her or punished the red-eyed girl in any way. Nothing was going to ruin such a wonderful day... not for her and certainly not for Timea. Speaking of her... Every so often, the tainted-blood would look over at her and grin, sometimes surprised with how drastic a change she had made since this morning... Why, only a little while ago she was covered in mud and wearing a dingy piece of cloth as her only article of clothing... Now, she was clean, her skin smooth, almost pure, and that she wore the most beautiful sundress she had ever seen. In addition, while her hair had naturally taken to it's wild, unruly state, with it so clean and shiny in combination with her dress... it looked great. She was gorgeous... Emia couldn't help but smile each time she looked upon her because each time, she saw the transformation of a girl who once lived on the streets with no one to look after her to a girl that now had a home (in a bar, but it was still a home) and now had a friend that would do almost anything for her.
It wasn't long until they returned to the bar, Emia surprised that there wasn't as much noise or drunken singing as she was used to. Granted, the clinking of mugs and the clanking of tankards could be heard inside, but it was very slow-pace... passive almost... today must've been a slow day... Pushing open the door, Emia would lead her friend inside, observing that her conclusion was correct... The place wasn't even half full and those inside were drinking their liquor sparingly, almost sips, attempting to make it last...
At least, that's what it looked like. Meanwhile, Lanister was at his post, wiping down the counter in such a way it seemed as if he was drying to pick up every last crumb, drop and speck off the wooden surface lest they defile it permanently. It was a way to relieve stress, but also alleviate boredom, at least for him. Now...? It seemed that he was using it for both those purposes... Movement near the door caught his eye and he raised his gaze to see his daughter standing there. He smiled and opened his mouth to say something, but then he noticed the green-haired girl beside her, grinding his words to a halt. At first he didn't recognize her... She wasn't dirty enough, wore something fit for the rich and her hair was so much cleaner... It was when he looked into her eyes, saw their unique color to he realize just who this girl was... Timea and she cleaned herself up nicely... No doubt aided by his daughter who came up to the bar, pulling up a stool for her and her friend. From the looks of things, it appeared as if the two got along famously. He quietly laughed internally. He WAS right.
"Welcome back, you two!" He greeted, reaching out a hand to ruffle Emia's hair. "How was your time?"
"Good, dad!" Emia spoke, looking over at Timea with a warm gaze, Lanister following her eyes to the girl he'd let in. He waited for her response before continuing with his questions.
"Have you two been getting along?" He asked. By the looked Emia gave alone, it was clear what the answer was but he couldn't help but ask.
"Yeah!" Emia responded enthusiastically. "We had a lot of fun!" Her lips curled into a wide smile. Lanister's own grin grew tainted with speculation.
"What about you?" He asked, looking at Timea. "What do you think of Emia?"
