Physical Description
Coryn takes after his father, both in appearance and personality, according to just about everyone who knew the man. his hair is silver, paired with olive-gold skin that gives him a distinctly fae appearance. his ears are slightly pointed, the rest of his features angular and almost stereotypically "feminine". However it is his eyes that truly distinguish him from being a mirror of his father, the right bright gold and the left pale blue.

Personality
Raised to be a benevolent lord, Coryn is soft spoken and a good listener. He's cautious by nature, a trait that aids him in much of his political maneuvering, but which some of his advisers caution makes him seem weak or indecisive. Still, he will always make sure to hear all possible sides or outcomes of a situation before making a decision.

Unfortunately, his advisers may have a point: he is never impulsive, even in situations that may call for it.

Magic/Abilities
While he's had training with both bow and sword, Coryn is not a particularly physical being. He much prefers to be holed up in the library, or practicing magic in the manor's gardens.

And his magic is his true weapon, if he ever needed to use it. He can control light, bending and warping it as he pleases for quite a variety of effects. Additionally, he can cast some minor "book spells" without much trouble.

Relationships
Orrin and Camilla Sylvaren, parents: deceased

Bo, bodyguard: his half-sister whose lineage and gender have been kept a secret for a variety of reasons.

History
Coryn was a happy child, and one who had a happy childhood. His elder sister was a constant presence in his life--even if he was confused about why he couldn't call her "sister" unless they were alone or with his parents. Bo was protective to the point of coddling, but he never really minded.

However, when he was twelve years old an unexpected fire took his parents' lives and left him with the title and lands his father had once held. The last seven years have essentially been an endless march of new duties and responsibilities that he must learn.
