Ardemi had been impatiently awaiting the sunset the entire day.  It was his first time in Arca, and though he'd gotten there during the day, he'd decided against exploring immediately.  He'd already had enough of a headache from the sunlight, and had just been happy enough to get a room at a tavern and retire within.

As night truly descended on the city, the young Tarrin grabbed his satchel and robe, pausing briefly to tie the light blindfold on.  He could still hear people in the tavern's main room below, and it wouldn't do to just head downstairs into the candle light.  He pulled the robe on as he hurried down, clawed toes clicking lightly on the stairs.  Flipping the hood up and over his head, Ardemi paused at the door, glancing back at the people in the main room.  Perhaps later he'd come and sit, maybe chat, and definitely discreetly sketch a few people.

Slipping out, he paused in the street a moment, removed the blindfold, and took a deep breath of the night air.  It wasn't just because it was too bright during the day, he enjoyed the peace of the night, the smells, the sounds.  A grin crossed his face, revealing sharp little fangs, and he headed off, towards the outskirts of town.

He really couldn't help but pause almost right outside the tavern to pull out a scrap of paper from his satchel and start sketching the shops and stalls lining the street.  He paused, staring at a storefront, considering whether to try to fill in the people from memory, or to come back in the morning and observe them again.  Finally deciding to come back later, he focused on finishing the sketch, leaning against the side of the building as he scribbled away.
