__________________IN-DEPTH STUFF

Physical Description He takes the appearance of a large fox, about the size of a large dog (think a Russian Ovcharka) with nine tails, and orange fur, just like a normal fox, he also  bears a white paw print mark on his right upper thigh.

He also has a human form that he uses the majority of the time; see Magic and abilities

Personality Jean-Luc suffers from hallucinations occasionally, but even he doesn't know what causes them. However, he is a well-meaning fellow, dedicated to whatever friends he has. He also occasionally gets bored with life, having lived 900 years. As a nobleman, he holds himself with dignity, and is very courteous when addressing guests and servants.

However, being a vampire, he sometimes gets the urge to feed on the blood of another. However, if he is in the company of guests, he will resist these urges. If in the company of friends only, he will ask permission before feeding.

Magic/Abilities
Vampirism: Jean-Luc is a vampire. As such, he feeds off the essence of another being through blood. As he wishes to keep his reputation of a kind nobleman, he usually staves off his urge to feed by eating  rare meat. As he is a vampire, and also a Kitsune, he doesn't have to worry about disease.

Transformation: A standard power among Kitsune, and the Marquis is no exception. His human form is that of a young nobleman, hence his really long name. His clothing in this form consists of a pair of fine black trousers, a white shirt with a red cravat, and a black overcoat. He has long, straight black hair in this form, and has fiery red eyes. He also wears a top hat, with a dark red band.

Weaknesses: Jean-Luc cannot enter one's house or dwelling without being first invited in. However, he can come and go freely once he is invited in. He also has a (small) aversion to sunlight, but this is primarily in his human form, his true form being covered in fur. Unlike myths portray, he is immune to holy water (although he can't cross bodies of water such as a river or lake), and garlic does little to stop him (strangely, though, he does have an allergy to strawberries). He can, however, die if staked through the heart, decapitated, and his body burned. However, if only one of these is done, he will just regenerate.

Relationships
Walter: Butler, head advisor, and best friend.

History
Born 900 years ago, Jean-Luc was the son of a minor Countess, and a poor farmer of a father, both of which were Kitsune. Neither, however, were vampires. At the age of 200 (when he got his third tail), Jean-Luc fell victim to a vampire, who injected the poor Kitsune with the blood of a monster, turning him into the vampire he is today, and this same vampire who turned the young Kitsune also killed the boy's parents. Jean-Luc later found the offender, and tore the vampire to pieces in his Kitsune form, not caring that there were innocent people watching. However, the incident was never linked to him, and was soon forgotten.

As the only heir, by default, he inherited the throne of his mother's minor estate, which is named Fae's End. He keeps a few butlers and maids, often holding a few great feasts a year, inviting neighboring nobles, or even just some townsfolk. As such, his reputation for kindness grew, while his dark secret stayed a secret, even after a few centuries.
