Kirnardaz stared at the empty lake. Something had drawn him here today, and he had no idea why. He was fine, just curious as to why there was a feeling here. Perhaps he was supposed to meet something. Or see some event.

He looked over the sun, setting over the treeline by the lake, and decided he should show off his true form. In a huge burst of black flame, he was in his true form. His skin was a dark ruby colour, his eyes their usual colour, a dark ruby red. He had huge scaled dragon wings, and his armour was it's usual spiky self.

He walked over to the lake, and shouted a long, loud spell in his native tongue, turning the water to blood, and causing it to boil. He shouted another command, and in the red mist of boiling blood, his second in command appeared.

"Have you crushed the rebellion?" Kirnardaz snarled. His voice was full of malice, and rage.

"No my lord. We have not." The other demon appeared to be part squid, having tentacles and other odd appendages.

"Release Ceerbaro. No prisoners, no mercy. Cull the realm. Tell Ceerbaro that it's feeding time. And tell him the following words. Weretark, liechtis, narbuka. He'll know what it means." Kirnardaz waited for the acknowledgement and then dismissed the other demon.

"Well Kirnardaz-master? Do you need us to feed?" Skalos had materialised behind Kirnardaz, although the Prince was un phased by the being's appearance.

"Maybe. Keep a low profile Skalos. I may have need of you later. Hide in the lake." As Skalos jumped into the blood lake, Kirnardaz stood, awaiting whatever had drawn him here.

(Oh sorry, I didn't even see this go up!)

Two shadows flitted in the red sky before alighting in a nearby tree, the branches cracking and groaning under the unfamiliar weight. One of them snapped, and the shape went tumbling down to the ground, a yelp of pain echoing across the lake's waters. The bigger of the two hellhounds had burned the branch he was on, and now grumbled as he sat up and shook the bits of wood off his back.

"Brother," Sveta hissed from the tree tops, threading her way through the branches, snapping her wings open and softening her step onto the ground. "Always, always with the noise!"

Spyridon growled, half-hearted, and nudged the other hellhound's neck with his horns. "You, always, always with the bitching!"

Sveta swiped at her brother, and the two of them locked horns a second later. Some of Sveta's venom dribbled down her chin and onto the grass beneath them, the green soon fading to yellow and dying within seconds. "Stop being so goddamn--"

The wind shifted, and a scent drifted to them on the wind. Sveta clamped her jaw shut, Spyridon hunkering down and flicking his tail. "Demon," he stated.

"From our realm?" Sveta asked, her words almost drowned in the "pop" of her transforming, becoming a young woman with a cloak. It wasn't much longer that Spyridon followed suit, morphing into a human and flipping the hood on his cloak.

"Doesn't smell like it. Certainly not one of our siblings," Spyridon remarked, bitterly. He grabbed his sister's hood and flipped it over her face as well, and after they adjusted each-other's cloaks to hide any differences between each-other, they walked out of the clearing.

At least they could always run.

Kirnardaz felt his senses ping when the branch broke. Nothing natural broke branches in his experience. Only intelligent beings did.

"Hello there..." Kirnardaz had a two tone voice, the sound charismatic with a hint of seduction in it. That was his way of making sure the two didn't cause him any trouble.

"Two hellhounds? Interesting. What brings you to Earth's realm?" Kirnardaz didn't sound threating more interrogative.

To him, they were interesting specimens, having only ever heard tell of hellhounds. They were smart. Not the  hellhounds he had heard of. Literal demon dogs were what he expected. Maybe both kinds existed.
