CH. I – Painting a Portrait
Jude Armand is handsome man, and he knows it, with striking features, slightly chiseled, with a soft chin and medium-sized lips.  His nose is long and thin, with a faint point to it.  The green of his eyes is the most piercing, the gold tinge around it making the sea-green near the pupil truly pop.  Keeping facial hair to a minimum, Jude keeps his hair combed and coifed, though it has a wavy touch to it.  He has a lean, athletic build, tanned flesh pulled over taught muscle and traces of hair on his chest, arms and belly.

CH II – Mental Make-up
A man with a taste for the finer things in life, Jude has made quite a comfortable living as a “man-for-hire,” as he prefers to call it.  No, he’s not a mercenary, or a sellsword, as one may be inclined to think.  Nothing to so rough and gritty as that.  Jude makes his living entertaining the rich and powerful, often privately, providing comfort and company to those willing and able to pay for his service.  He’s made a name for himself and it’s no secret that he thoroughly enjoys what he does.  He’s cocky and narcissistic; even sarcastic when it counts.

He’s a gentleman, professional, articulate, educated and versed in at least four different languages and their dialects.  He’s intelligent, well-read and witty, which is always a plus in his profession.  He’s quite social and he finds it easy to approach others and make conversation.  He’s a subtle flirt, attentive to his companions, as his calm demeanor make him an easy person to talk to, and he always finds it easy to listen.  He has a genuine respect for women, feeling they are undervalued and unappreciated by society in general.  He also maintains his independence, something very hard to do in this business, working for no one but himself.  Most of his business comes by word-of-mouth and he prefers to keep it that way.

Jude has never been one to just give it all away.  He’s always thinking ahead, on the off-chance that he might need something.  Where others collect trinkets, or books, or artifacts, Jude is a collector of information, everything and anything that’s remotely interesting, anything he considers insurance and what he might need for a rainy day.

+ FAITH +
Jude never pictured himself as much of a church-going man.  It was never something he could ever be bothered with.  Religion is best left to the religious and the hopelessly stupid.

+ HABITS +
Jude is vain, an aspect he’s never tried to hide.  Dressing sharp and dressing well has always been – likely to always be – a number one priority.  He keeps himself well-groomed and clean; his body is his temple and deserving of the utmost care.  He admires beauty and elegance in anything and anyone.  He’s a casual smoker, usually carrying a cigar case in his breast pocket and drinks occasionally when in good company.

CH III – Social

+ RELATIONSHIPS +
Anita Hawthorne, 55, Former Courtesan, Madame, Alive.
A personal friend of Jude’s for many years, she was the one who taught him everything he knows, and served as his mistress for a few years before she felt he could do so much more on his own.  She’s an astute business woman with an eye for detail.  She has a sort of regal beauty despite her age.

Jinai Rinstgate, Lover.

*Jude has made a number of contacts scattered throughout the country, through whorehouses, courtesans, and some of the noble houses in Connlaoth.

CH IV – Abilities / Skills
+ CHARISMA +
Jude is quite a charismatic individual, with a natural charm to him.  He’s an easy listener and likes to make people feel at ease around him.  He doesn’t like to over-do it, or come on too strong.  He tries not to judge people (he wouldn’t be in any position to do so, regardless), and instead tries to make himself more relatable.

*He’s adept enough in hand-to-hand and basic knife fighting to protect himself.  Other than that, he has no real combat ability or magic skill.

CH V – Gear / Equipment
+ BLACK BOOK +
The most valuable possession Jude has is a small black book he uses to record his collection.  It’s shielded, encased in a hard layer of an unknown metal.  It has a complex lock mechanism, a series of pressure plates as well.  It has a strange, chemical lining to it that is connected to the lock and would incinerate the contents of the book should it be tampered with..  Naturally it is not something Jude carries with him, and keeps its location a well-kept secret.  And if anyone knows the value of secrets, it’s Jude.

*His wardrobe, home, and a few other material objects are among the items of value to him, other than his person of course.

CH VI – Reflections of the Past
Few people know the man’s personal history and fewer still are those inclined to learn it.  It isn’t something Jude would easily share regardless.  He would be more willing to dodge the question or give generic answers.  Suffice to say, he came from humble beginnings, until he was discovered by Anita Hawthorne and fell into the business by accident.

*His history will be fleshed out more through roleplay.
