It was just a normal day nothing new nothing exciting just the way she liked it. Amaris was hungry though. It was always this way. She sighed not happy about her stomach wanting something just then. She was happy just lazing about not needing to be anywhere. Hearing the forest around her she wondered what she would get when out on the hunt. She figured probably just a rabbit or two. It wouldn't be enough but she would survive.

Sighing she got up and stretched slowly. She decided to ignore the rabbits they were fast little buggers and she wasn't up for a workout just then. Suddenly she got a whiff of something really good. She wondered if this was male or female, but suddenly didn't care. She liked deer enough to fight for the meat if needed. She slowly started down that trail being careful in case it was a male. Amaris kept on the trail leading down to couple of miles before the stream. Jumping over the stream and into some bushes she fell into something hard.

Getting up she saw what it was and snarled wondering if this being had taken her meal. She kept back waiting and watching to see what this one would do not trusting anything. She was alert ready for it to pounce. She thought maybe male, and didn't like this any better.

Shifting his gaze from side to side as he sniffed at the air around him. He had been on the trail of a deer, his next meal, and he was not about to lose track of it. No he was going to catch it and enjoy some fresh meat. With this thought in his mind, the singular thought driving the male at the moment was his desire for food. Stepping forwards once again Ronan turns his gaze ahead of him as he looks at the tracks that lay before him, leading the way through the forest.

At the moment he had taken on the form of a wolf, having decided to lounge around in the form before catching scent of his prey. Already his stomach growled with desire for the deer he had been hunting. Paw after paw he moved forwards following after the tracks of his prey. As he drew closer to his prey, Ronan slipped into some near by bushes and began to lurk in hiding as he watched his prey from afar, waiting to see if perhaps more would come or if the one was all he might get.

As he watched the deer Ronan was oblivious to the world around him, that was until something came crashing down onto him, an event the male thought was an attack. Crashing to the ground under the weight of something he could not see at first, Ronan quickly sprang to his feet as he turned his attention to what he believed was attacking him, already the male began to growl and bear his teeth. Even as he noticed it was another wolf he still remained ready to attack and only held his ground for a brief moment before he lunged forwards going at the wolf.

She noted he had turned to her. The deer since she noticed it had leaped away. She had a feeling this wouldn't go down good with the other wolf. Not that he noticed the deer any more. He was growling at her. It only took a moment before he lunged at her. She dodged his attack and went for his throat instead wanting the attack to end.

It was a smart move she thought, but had a feeling she just made things worse. It was never good when another wolf attacked. She knew she deserved the attack having cost the wolf a meal. She couldn't help but defend herself though.

Nomad

Though he lunged for her in an attempt to get her she evaded his attack and came right back at him with an attack of her own. Seeing the wolf come at him, Ronan steps to the side before turning and attacking her again, jumping at her as her went for her neck in a vicious manner. No doubt this wolf had made him lose his meal and now he was going to make it pay for that, perhaps even make a meal out of it in the process before going after the deer again.

Amaris didn't like that he evaded her. He was smart she had noticed that. She hadn't expected him to side step her. The move for her throat though she did see coming, but a little too late. Suddenly she was down and she didn't like it. She whimpered a little hoping he would let up. She had a feeling he wouldn't though.

She had lost. She could be gracious about it after all she had cost him his meal. Are you going to let me up? Ow! Come on I'm sorry I didn't mean to go after the same deer you did. You can have it its too much trouble for me I'll just go downstream again and find something small. Okay? Truce? She thought waiting for some sort of answer.

Nomad

Getting hold of her he took her to the ground and growled at her as he held her there. He had one the fight, though it was not as violent as he thought it was going to get. Listening to her whimper he kept a hold of her though the taste of fur filled his mouth. Now that he had won with out killing this wolf he figured he could simply let it go and be on his way. Hearing her begin to speak, Ronan paused for a moment.

He had not stopped to tell if the wolf was male or female, to interested in attacking the wolf, however the wolf speak in his mind he found out that it is a female rather then a male. Listening to the female wolf speak he finally releases his grasp upon her and takes a step back though he keeps his gaze fixed on her. Though he had let go of her he was still angry and the signs could still be seen. Growling and snapping at her. " No! " he exclaimed as he looked at her, bearing his teeth " You are going to help me catch my prey and if your lucky I will give you some of it. " he says, though it was more of a command.

wolfie

Amaris was glad when he let go. His response wasn't something she expected either. She hadn't met any wolves who wanted her help before. They usually got tired of her and let her be. She had a feeling this would be different, but wasn't sure how.

Okay do you want to lead or shall I? She thought back taking on the submissive role. It had done her good in the past. She wasn't used to other beings at all unless it was food. She didn't want to offend him further. She had a feeling he would be eating the whole deer and making her watch. He could do it, and she knew it considering she lost their first fight.

Nomad

He had thought that perhaps she would not go along with what he said and simply be on her way, that was always a valid option. However she didn't seem to go that rout rather she remained and spoke up, going along with what he had said. Her response drew a growl from Ronan as he snapped at her " No, I will be leading. " he stated, glaring at her though as he looks at her his gaze does shift as he scans over her form for a moment.

" Let's go. " he says, again in a commanding manner, as he turns around and steps out of the bushes. Moving out of the bushes he shifts his gaze in search of the tracks the deer would have left behind. Turning his gaze, he glances back to see if the female is following him, though only for a moment before turning his gaze back ahead as he spots the tracks and begins to move after them.

wolfie

Very well. She responded and just stood there. He seemed to look her over first before turning toward where the deer went. She noted he was looking for tracks. She thought this strange behavior for any wolf.

Did you like what you saw? Oh and wouldn't it be easier to smell the deer out? Its how I found you both. She thought a little of her sass coming out. She couldn't help it she was sassy even to her father and the Alpha of her last pack. It was just her nature.

She followed him realizing she could have simply just left. She had a feeling though he wasn't going to just let her go easily. Something told her she was in this for the long haul.

Nomad

With her comment he wondered if he should leave her behind, however he did indeed like what he had seen and already began to think of what to do after they found this deer. With a growl Ronan begins to sniff at the air as he shifts his head from side to side following after the scent of the deer he begins to pick up his pace, quickly moving from a walk and into a running stride. He wanted to catch this deer quickly so he could get something to eat, though that was not the only thing on the male's mind.

" And what if I did like what I saw? " he asked, glancing back to her for a moment before turning his gaze back ahead of them. Though he liked the form he seen, he was not to keen on some of the comments she was throwing his way.

She heard the growl and realized she had stepped out of line. She didn't care though she was never good at towing the line. If her family was alive they would testify to that. Amaris tried hard to forget her past but that never worked. She was alone for a reason.

She glupped at his question and noticed he looked back at her. She wasn't sure how to respond it had been a long time since any male might be interested in her. She had a feeling though that he was just trying to unnerve her. It wasn't much of a surprise that he would try such a thing.

Dunno. Not many fancy me. Are we close to this deer? She thought letting him track it. Amaris wanted the deer caught and to be on her way quickly. Something was up with this wolf, and she wasn't sure she liked it.

Nomad

As she spoke he glanced back to her again for a moment before turning his gaze back ahead of them as he gives a nod. " We are. " he commented as he gazed ahead while sniffing at the air. While he sniffed at the air he continued at his pace leading the way forwards. Moving through the forest he shifted around trees as he changed direction a few times while following the scent.

It wasn't long before he began to slow down as he drew closer to the deer he had been after before. " Up ahead. " He says, glancing back to her for a moment before he turns his gaze ahead once again. Beyond them in a clearing eating some grass was the deer from before, its back turned to them as it grazed in peace. Seeing the deer, Ronan glances back to her again, getting an idea " There it is, go and get it. " he says as he looks at her, again in a commanding manner.

She was glad this was almost over. She couldn't wait to get back to her lone ways. It would be easy to slip away all she had to do was wait for him to dig in and then run. Sure she would be ignoring her stomach, but she could find something later maybe some fish.

Keeping up with him wasn't the easiest thing, but she didn't mind. If he lost her along the way that would be his own doing. He slowed down though much to her chagrin. She heard the order and went ahead to do this. He would be gone soon enough. It was something she kept to herself though.

Yes, sir. She thought then moved carefully. Deer were easy to spook if one didn't do this right. She noted it was beside two bushes making this easier. The bushes were nothing but thorns with berries to them. The deer was eating the grass near the bush while keeping its ears peeled. She carefully quietly moved ahead stalking her prey. She was good at this although a bit rusty as of lately. She noted the twigs and made sure not to step on them. Inches from the pounce stage she waited a minute before pouncing on the deer making sure nothing was going to happen to her.

Once she was on the deer that was it. She quickly snapped its neck and let it lie. It's dead. Come and get it. She thought having tasted a little of the blood. She figured that was all she was going to get as she stayed near enough to guard his diner for him.

Nomad

After the order for her to go and kill the deer, Ronan sat back to watch how she was in action. She would either get the deer or scare it off and if that were to happen then he would have to go after it again which didn't sound to good to the male though he let her do the killing since it was she who scared it off in the first place. Keeping his gaze on the deer he watched it carefully for any signs of it wanting to run, perhaps if it were to run he could catch it before it got away.

When she finally went for the deer, he watches as she takes it down quickly and snaps its neck. Seeing her kill the deer, Ronan was glad that he did not have to try and hunt it down again. Stepping out of the bushes and looks to the deer on the ground for a moment before turning his gaze back to the female wolf " Good work. " he says as he moves over to the deer. Tearing into the dear, Ronan pulls out a chunk of meat and begins to devour it " You can have some. " he says, glancing to the female wolf.

wolfie

It was now or never she though then he turned his attention back to her. Running then wasn't an option and she knew it. She heard the compliment but didn't respond to it. She wasn't used to it at all. She hadn't expected him to share like this. Something was up.

Carefully she moved forward submissive like before taking some of the deer. It was good. She ate while keeping an eye on him. It had been too long since she last had something decent to eat. She wondered if he had known that and that's why he was sharing. She was on alert though even though she was eating. She never took her guard down especially around other wolves. One never knew what would happen.

Once she was full again she backed off and watched him. She was waiting for her chance. She knew it would come eventually males had things on their minds. Amaris didn't think this was the time.

Nomad

Much like the female wolf, Ronan keeps his gaze set on her, watching her as she begins to eat. As she begins to eat he continues to eat, chewing away at a bit of the deer meat. As he eats he shifts his gaze over her form a few times, taking in her wolf form. As he finishes the first bit of meat he goes back for a second, ripping more off of the dear and chewing on the next bit. Once she had finished her bit she seemed to back away, though he didn't have much of a problem with that.

" Who are you? " He asks the female as he chews up the bit of meat in his mouth before swallowing it down. Now that he had filled his belly he felt a lot better. Turning his gaze form her he looked down at the remains of he deer, his gaze shifting over it for a moment as he scans for the remains he could take with him.

Amaris sighed realizing he wasn't going to just ignore her. He was asking questions. That was never good. She wondered if he heard about her pack or knew anything of her. She didn't think something like that would be kept quiet in the wolf world.

Nobody. She answered knowing it was true. If she was someone she wouldn't have been alone wouldn't have had to go through what she did. Instead it was as if she should never have existed. Sometimes she wondered if she truly did.

Amaris saw the opening he was giving her. He had turned back to the deer as if contemplating something. Just like when she was hunting she quietly slipped away into the bushes. She went to the stream crossing into it before she began to run at all.

Nomad

She had given him an answer, however the answer she had given him was not a name but rather a simple word which caused the male to frown faintly at the answer. He was expecting a name from her since he had asked for her name. He didn't expect her to take off and run away, however she bolts off while he has his attention set on the dear. As she begins to run he lifts his gaze and quickly bolts after her with a growl.

Though he thought of staying behind with the deer and letting her go, he also had things in mind he wanted to do to her so letting her get away was not an option since he was not done with her. With these in mind he gave chase as fast as he could, his anger growing as he is forced to run after her. Drawing upon her he leaps from the ground and pounces atop her in an attempt to take her to the ground as he bites the back of her neck, growling loudly at her.

wolfie

She had heard something behind her. She didn't expect him to give chase though. She kept moving figuring she could get ahead of him. She was in the water when suddenly she was pounced on. She felt his teeth in the back of her neck making her whimper again. She felt everything as he had jumped on her. Water was not something to make a pouncing softer unless it was deep. This stream wasn't deep at all. It only came up to her paws. She heard him growling.

Ow ow ow. Are you going to let me up? Please no teeth that hurts. She thought just laying there. There was nothing she could do at that point he was in charge and she knew it. At least tell me what you want.

Nomad

With her pinned under him he held onto her neck, again the taste of fur filling his mouth as he growled down at her. Listening to her as she spoke again he held onto the back of her neck, his body pressing against hers though he held himself so he was not putting all his weight on her. After a moment he released his grasp upon her neck though he did not move off of her, instead growled at her more.

" Why did you run? And who are you. " he asks, nipping at the beck of her neck again. " Tell me. " he says, again in a commanding tone as he gazes down at her though he remains atop of her so she could not try and escape again.
