In a small village far from another one rested a young child's head. She was small to begin with but even smaller compared to the folk just coming around the bend. Her eyes glistened under the straw she had buried herself in. There was nothing like hiding, it was freeing and it was exciting.

There was a danger of course, to hiding. She was a fugitive of her father's. Anyone who had ever had family problems before would understand why she was running away but not many people wanted to give hope to a young child. Only ten years old and already she had traversed the Moraki desert. It was wrong, just plain wrong how she felt now. Her stomach was growling so loud she thought her plan would fail.

Her plan wasn't much of a plan because she pulled it out of her mind a few moments ago. Licht was going to steal from that large looking man over there. With her charm and nimbleness she should be able to hop over without anyone seeing and snag an apple or maybe some bread. That was if he had any. She was watching him from a distance for awhile and declared him her target. Stealing was wrong but in moments where she would probably grow ill from starvation in a few hours, her mind wasn't in the right places. Now she just had to wait for the right moment.

It came quickly of course. Time was nothing to one who had crossed the deserts and was almost swallowed by a sandworm. Her tiny hand rubbed the bruise she had gotten from the beast's skin. It had scratched her pretty hard but did not draw blood. Shaking her head out of the thoughts she was having she saw her chance. Quickly hopping out of the pile, spooking a couple hen's that were laying beside her, Licht made a dash towards the large man. Once she was in arms length of him she would prey upon his mind. The spell she had cast would tell her his most conscious thoughts, the ones he was thinking just now.

Her hand reached outward towards a bag near him. She assumed it was his. And now I can get a move on! she thought as she touched the bag with her hand.

Moirimeran was looking for his prey. The daughter of the man that may be able to kill him... for good. After a few seconds he senses a girl, youngish. She fit the description. It must be her. But she came closer, quite quickly too, as if she wanted to tell him something. Nope.

He looked to her, slightly confused. His hand, as fast as lightning, grapped her by her neck. He was trying to be very gentle, but his strengh made it a very hard choke. Every few seconds he let her breathe and talk.

"That wasn't very hard all. You are coming me."
He knew it was her. The description matched perfectly. His grammar wasn't too good, either.

((I forgot her name and her fathers name. Help?))

Licht Drager was not accustomed to pain. She was accustomed to shock however and that's what her widening eyes portrayed. The eyes teared up as well to show it was pain she felt not all fear. This wasn't supposed to happen. Her plan was to run away, safely. The little girl who was daughter to a retired Ring Leader wasn't supposed to die here. No way was she going to settle for this.

The man before her probably didn't notice she had grabbed an apple. At least this small task was accomplished. Though in all reality it was a failure. Too bad she was going to suffocate. She was able to breathe every once and awhile so the man before her didn't want to kill her.

"My father will hurt you." she was able to say for a moment before she couldn't breath. The next release was able to allow her to get some breath.

"Bloed Drager will come for you." She crossed her arms, though it was very difficult and her face turned red. That's when the thought crossed her oxygen poor mind. This man could save her. This man was probably just what she was searching for. Maybe this man could free her of her family ties. It was possible. Though it seemed as if he was looking for her. Maybe he was kidnapping her.

"What do you want?" she gasped.

((names are in the post, you're welcome.))

Tak

((Thanks))

"My father will hurt you." "Good."
"Bloed Drager will come for you." "Good."

Then the last question came. "I want you father to cure me of life." replied the giant man as he let her down, and moved his hand to the back of her neck. He brought her to a crumbly old building, abandoned. Inside there where no exits, no ways of getting out... only a locked door. He almost threw her inside, saying "I will spread rumors of  kidnap. I will back two hours."

RainbowSeeker

The man who took her was strange. It was as if his only course of thought was to be, well, killed. That couldn't be it though. Licht knew there was some underlying motive. The poor girl didn't know what was happening and didn't care. She was scared and a bit freaked out at the fact that this strange giant of a suit of armor wasn't going to kill her but hold her ransom.

Licht was being kidnapped? What sort of impossible being was this. When she felt his hand on her neck she cringed. Expecting something that never came was reasonable after what she had just found out. No matter it was pointless. The building he led  her to was old and falling apart. There was no window, no place at all for light to hit the inside. That made escaping more difficult because her magic utilized light.

She turned to him as he left and just crossed her arms. "He won't hear the rumors. He's not even in town. I hope." she said that last part with a huff of anger.

Two hours though of rumors. That would certainly attract her father. If her father came she needed to have a plan. Something to slip away again from that monster. Though no one knew he was a monster because he played them all so well like a flute. Frustrated she went to a corner and plopped down. It was hard to stop the tears from coming. Licht had stopped them for so long that now they just poured out of her, she hoped as well that her sobs went unheard.

"I sense distrust in voice. We talk later."
And with that, he left. He left to tell the rogues, he left to tell the newspeople, he left to tell the couriers, he left to tell the market people. He told everyone in town. Everyone.

He did all of this over a period of 7200 long seconds. Even if he was out of town, he would surely hear anyway. After a long hard day of trying to get his grammar right to tell everyone, the hours where up.

He was just about to go back to where he trapped the girl, actually.

RainbowSeeker

The man was right about the distrust. Licht didn't trust this man over a pig. It was hard to truly trust anyone after what she'd been through though. Maybe it was time to just forget it all and go home. While he was out she felt something she hadn't in a while.

Tears wanted to come out of her eyes and so she let them. The little girl who was always so happy began to cry. It was hard for her to to understand all that was happening and why. She wanted her father here to explain things and to comfort her. No she didn't want that either. Licht had ran away from him. That man was just as much a monster as this stranger who kidnapped her.

"Kid.Napped. That's such a strange word." she said to herself in a whisper. Wrapping her arms around herself she took a deep breath. How did this man know who she was in the first place? Unless he had been stalking them he shouldn't have known what her father was capable of. A man who wanted to die? Was it really possible? Shaking the thoughts from her mind the young girl found herself grinning. She wasn't trapped, not yet anyway. There was a warping spell she had gotten from her book, but it wasn't perfect and might kill her.

She had to try though.

Through the town whispers of a man made of metal traveled far. It was not long after that a man wearing a red and black trench coat knelt over a roof. He knew what this was about, and he would not allow it. Times were already troubling enough for him but now he was about to be outed? It was not possible that someone had uncovered his past. It was not feasible to allow someone who might have to live either. This stranger would need to be dealt with.

Bloed Drager tipped his tophat back away from his head and adjusted the bowtie that always hung around his neck. He always dressed for performance because every day was an act. He had to lie to his daughter, who had ran away. He had to hide his magical abilities, because they were dangerous for his life. Now however he would have to locate his daughter. Using a spyscope he had managed to grab off of a dead nomad out in the desert he opened it. This large man would be easy to find if the rumors held to them.

"There we are." he told himself as he disappeared from the rooftop. He would begin to make his way over to the area the large man was. He was quite about it too, ever so careful. The outfit he wore was already crested and coated in dirt, feces, plants, sand, and blood. Blood he could find useful in the upcoming events. When he was at least twenty five feet away from the man, he stopped and watched.

Moirimeran was just about to go back, food in hand for the child, however he was stopped as he sensed powerful magic, powerful magic that matched the description. This was just too easy...

He looked in the general direction he sensed it came from, also sensing he was 20-30 feet away, and he was looking with those parameters... until he was found. He looked at the , sure it was him. He stepped closer to the door before going inside. "You father here. Me die soon. Me happy." said the 'man' as he slapped the food on the floor. It was some cooked beef, low quality.

He looked outside again, seeing the man as he did a hand movement meaning 'come here'.

Licht smiled at her handiwork. The trap was definitely set up and just in time too. She turned around slightly surprised at how quickly he returned. The girl had hoped that at least he would have taken a day and a half. A man like him looked like he didn't even need sleep. Rubbing her temples with her hands she stopped when she heard what he just said.

"What. He's here. No he can't be!" She rushed over to the doorway in an attempt to look outside. Was he really that stupid that he would follow her across the desert sands just to talk? It must have been some illusion or a shape shifter. Licht backed up from the man before her. What did he see that she did not? It didn't matter. The plan was in action as soon as he stepped in the doorway and the spell would work, it had too.

A small spark was caused by him stepping in the doorway. This spark was tiny but a trained eye could see it if they were looking inside the house. When this spark was struck a thin line of sparkling dust would turn to dust almost immediately. It wrapped its way around the entire wall of the building she was in. Things were going well for the spell until the two ends of the line she had made met. There was the smoke that billowed out from around the corners of the room, just like it was supposed to. But then it hit her. The cost of the spell was a fraction of her own life, not much just an hour of her life. It was more painful than she had originally thought it would be.

The smoke filled the room but all anyone outside would see was an empty room. Anyone who ran into the room would be subjected to the smoke that was growing ever thicker. Licht hadn't planned for her own self to be in there. She lay in the middle of the room holding her stomach in pain. She didn't cry out, if she was going to die it was going to be by her own hands and no one elses. At least if she did this she might be able to come back as a spirit and haunt her father.

The man outside was just watching. He fiddled with a needle he kept pinned on his collar. There was something off about who he was watching. There was no need for him to have been secretive because no man could see him clearly enough to know...

His outfit. Bloed's dress was unique to him and anyone could tell it was him from 100 feet away. Slapping his knee in agitation he stepped out into the open. Taking a few more steps closer towards the strange man he kept the pin in his hand. That's when the feeling of pain wrapped itself around him. She couldn't have done something like that could she have?

"Who are you, and who do you think I am?" he shouted out towards the stranger. Readying the needle in his hand he began voicing a spell in his mind. If anything should harm his daughter things would get messy quite soon. However, from his point in the path he could see inside the house. There was absolutely nothing there so obviously this man was bluffing about having his daughter. Maybe she had ran off when he went through town. If that was the case he'd have to find answers. He pointed a hand towards Moirimeran, "Tell me, why should I come any closer?"

The smoke went through the room, but Moirimeran didn't know. He knew something was wrong, but didn't know what and didn't bother to ask. He saw straight through the fog, as if it was never there to begin with. "You eat later. He here."

Moirimeran went back outside, to see the man before going back he inside again. He forcefully grabbed her arm (sorry, godmoding, say if you want me to change) and took her just outside for Bloed to see. He had one of his sharp claws to her neck, as if she was a hostage. "This why."

However, that was for but a second as he through her inside (literally) and walked inside at the same time, hoping Bloed would do the same. "We need negotiate, Bloed"
