Ina trekked through the jungle, sweating profusely in the heat and humidity. Her feet were soaked with water, as were the rest of her clothes, and she was exhausted. Still, she relished the feeling, knowing that at any moment, she could loose her life, perhaps slipping off a cliff or meeting a wild animal. She broke a few branches that extended across her path into her way and glanced up at the canopy in a vain attempt to spot the sun. Her arms felt heavy as she pushed away a few more branches and she realized that regardless of how much daylight she had left, she should rest.
Without further resistance, Ina sat at the base of a tree, letting her head rest against the trunk. How wonderful it was to be alive! She sighed, and waited for the sun to descend.
