Character Pictures

How do I go about posting character pictures in my character profiles? I have one pic I hand-drew and would like to use it to represent my first character, but don't know how. The insert image icon doesn't do anything. I can't post a link to it as the picture itself is on my personal computer, not the internet. Or do we not have that option?

Hullo friend. To insert an image that you yourself have made, you first must get it hosted via an image hosting site. I personally use Imgur. ====> http://imgur.com/

You can fairly easily submit your image to that site and get a direct link.
Such as this one ====> http://i.imgur.com/DCUdWLA.gif

Then to add it to your profile, copy and edit/past this:

[img]PUT YOUR URL HERE[/img]

it should end up looking like this.

Thanks, it worked although the resulting image is huge. Don't know what I could do to shrink it down to a more manageable size. Thank you for the help.

Perhaps try creating a hyperlink to the photo?

That can be done by using this code:
