Physical Description
Ka'lei is tall and willowy, built more for graceful strength than hard labor. She's copper skinned with jet black hair and dark blue eyes. Her wings are black as her hair, matte rather than glossy.

Personality
"Snappish" is putting it lightly; Ka'lei does not accept her lot in life as easily as her brother seems to, and this manifests in a massive chip on her shoulder (a well founded chip, admittedly). She's not afraid to speak her mind, even though she's often punished for it. She has a very distinct personal space bubble and will bite anyone who invades it (sometimes literally).

Magic/Abilities
Despite her lack of subservience, most owners tolerate Ka'lei for a while because she is very skilled at just about anything she tries. She seems to have a knack for any task presented her (whether or not she does it is the question...).

Relationships
Her twin brother, Kai, is just about the only person Ka'lei can stand for longer than an hour or two at a time.

History
Both Kai and Ka'lei were taken away from their mother- a travelling craftswoman they can hardly remember who spent some months on Yoreiq and return with a pair of souvenirs- when their caravan was raided by slavers while crossing the Moraki Desert. They were five years old at the time, sold into slavery in Essyrn. As they grew older, Ka'lei's caustic personality made them a less than desirable package; they were sold from one owner to the next, but somehow Kai always managed to stay with his sister.
