Winter

Winter had a problem, not one she like to admit to, on pain of death but a problem none the less. She  knew next to nothing of where she was. She moved around often enough so the lay out of a city was something she had learned to pick up on fairly quickly. But, it was something she had to learn before she did anything business or pleasure related. While Winter herself held both those things in equally high esteem she couldn't help but feel vulnerable till she had her feet under her, so to speak.

To that end she was doing her best to look like a tourist with out looking like an actual tourist. If she were to be a victim of pick pocketing because she looked like a clueless idiot she would be very much annoyed with both herself and the thief in question, and she did not wish to make an impression that ended in her being arrested.

No, that would end in her face being brought to the attention of who ever in forced the laws such as they were and make her life more difficult than it needed to be. While she thought of law as more of guide lines and was more than willing to break them when the situation called for it, it tended to be a bother when the authorities started watching you when you did anything.

So, to avoid the unpleasantness surrounding all of that she was doing her best to appear as a clueless and slightly lost wondering citizen. Thus far it had been uneventful, maybe she should have flashed some ankle.

It had been sometime since he had been to the cit. His blue eyes and countenance looked drained, and his youthful face seemed to age, even though it had only been a few years since he had entered into the city. Being up North when the mages were rebelling, and nearly dieing on several accounts, left him vulnerable and ashamed. For he was one who loathed the mage population, and took upon the calling towards the church and see that the will of Ansgar was upheld.

But through his journeys, Kentamin Dhelsbar wasn't sure how he felt now. He felt torn between his realizations that mages were, in fact, people too, and also the underwritten fear tickling in his veins towards them.

He needed to return to the church, needed to resupply, and needed to refocus on his religion and purpose. He wasn't paying too much attention, his mind on the battles up North. He was still a good few blocks away from the New Church of Ansgar when he rounded a bend and bumped, quite literally into another.

Taken aback, Kentamin bowed his head humbly.
"Forgive me, I wasn't watching where I was going," he muttered, a weariness to his voice, and to his disposition.

Winter

Winter for her part was not looking behind her, when some one bumped into her. She had enough balance to avoid face planting in the street, but she did stumble a couple of steps none the less. She was pretty sure she was not under attack, as they wouldn't have bumped into her carelessly unless it was some form of some strange attack. The lack of follow up attacks made her assume it was not.

Keeping this in mind, she turned and looked at who might be not looking to where they were going. In this case the person in looked to be human or at least some race close to it, male, and made a little travel worn. In any case she wouldn't call him a threat. There was no reason for her not to be civil. First impressions were important after all.

"Don't worry about it." She sounded fairly amused at having nearly been ran down. "It's crowded and I don't stand out in a crowd...well most of the time." She had to admit there was times that she did. "Where were you heading in that state anyway?" She was curious and tact was never anything Winter was friends with. If she thought it, she tended to say it.
