Charlotte sat at one of the center tables of a local tavern in Reichsgard, sipping a mug of ale. She observed silently the patrons at the bar, taking in each ones looks and reactions. She had a job to do. Her employers had set her up to find and bring in a rival of them, a man named Matthias Farveiw. He was supposedly 30-looking with brown hair and a small beard, but he also was very good at shape shifting, so really the man could be anyone. The only reason Charlotte was at The Garden Grove, the name of the fancy pub, was that Matthias was rumored to frequent the place.

Charlotte had been conversing with a woman a few years younger than her just a moment ago, but she had been carried away by her lover, and had left the crime artist with no one to talk to. And currently, Char hadn't spotted anyone that could be her target, so she was quite bored, and open for conversation.

Gawfy

Gawfy Had been wandering Around Reichsgard Until he had met a man, or men who men who thought he looked intimidated approached him.  Gawfy did not start listening Until they handed him Two pictures and a Pouch of gold. One Picture of a woman whom they also hired. Apparently The man  had Done somthing to Piss them off bad. Oh well. Gawfy needed the cash and Didn't ask questions. He Arrived at a Bar And walked in. He headed to the bar And Got a Bottle of whisky. He put the Bottle through The Mouth opening of his wolf helmet and took a Swig. he then started looking Around the
Bar.

Char scanned the patrons once again, and then saw a man that fit the description the crime artist had gotten. She had to admit, he was pretty good looking. Or maybe that was an illusion. However, Charlotte had no time to check as she was already walking towards Matthias. He didn't look too difficult to catch, but Charlotte knew that looks could be very, very deceiving.

As she pulled up a stool in an attempt to chat with the man, Char noticed another interesting figure walk into the tavern. He was wearing a helmet, something that was rather unusual for the typically rich patrons of The Garden Grove. Charlotte made a mental note to keep an eye on him before turning back to Matthias.

Gawfy

While Drinking Gawfy saw the The Girl in the Photograph. She was approaching the person who looked like their target. " He is a shapeshifter though. So i doubt its actually him."Gawfy Thought. He would watch what she was doing while talking another swig. It could be interesting.

Char grinned at Matthias and then said the first thing on her mind, "Don't find many coming in here with helms on, do you?" A simple statement, one meant to draw his attention to her. Charlotte knew the advantages of seducing someone, although she also knew she wasn't doing the greatest job currently. All the crime artist needed to learn about this man was if he really was really Matthias Farveiw. She had a feeling he wasn't.

She smiled kindly as he replied, although secretly she was checking his magical powers. Nothing, like she thought, or at least nothing that matched up with her target. Perhaps the real Matthias had cast an illusion on this man.Or maybe he had a twin. Charlotte suddenly wished she had more information on her target.

Gawfy

Gawfy's Helmet was pointed at the Bar. But he was actually watching the Girl as she made her move on her target. After her opening statement Gawfy saw her body language was a bit awkward. He took Matthias's Photo and Scribbled Down on the back the most important Information about their target. And in fact the only illusion magic he was trained in was his shapeshifting potency. He Finished writing this Down and put the cork back in his drink and "accidentally" Dropped It on the Ground. It rolled towards the Pair, casually dropping the Photo in her open pocket when He walked by. He picked up the Bottle and returned to the Bar.
