Kul Nuzadth rose from the waves off the beaches of the island known as Inno. Already, the Kul was unimpressed, especially from the drastically differing architecture he could see not a mile or two away from him. Docks... Fishing poles... Giant brick squares that these humans lived in... it was all alien to the young Nuzadth having lived on the Ilse of the Lizard-People his entire life. There, they had no need for fishing centers or tools for such things. They needed not for giant stone squares or holes to let in the fresh sea air that this scrap of land was sorely neglected. Already, the Kuls was starting to get homesick just staring at the human way of life. It was so.... different to be diplomatic about it. The massive reptile drew to his massive almost 9 feet in height as he walked toward civilization, surprised that most of the.... what he assumed were men... weren't sparing him a second glance despite his radically different appearance. It seemed that they had either seen his race before or they had seen far more alien things then a Kul of his stature. Nevertheless, he found such a response refreshing. It meant he didn't have to watch his back as intensely as he might have otherwise.

Of course, as with any long journey, human or not, the first place Nuzadth went was the local pub. Not only was he keenly interesting in sampling what humans considered spirits, but also looking for something of a fight as well. No, the young Kul wasn't a troublemaker nor did he want to flaunt his strength. It was an exercise at the very least and an assessment of the most populous land-race at the most. He had to duck inside the door to avoid his spines getting caught on the door-head. Wow... they were noisy little monkeys, weren't they...? Music from the stringed instruments along with the loud, slurred voices of intoxicated sailors almost started to enrage Nuzadth. Another difference was that alcohol seemed to make these apes into bumbling idiots.... Back home, a belly full of the stuff would put one right to sleep, give one a nice little nap! Maybe he'd take his drink to go... Ordering the strongest brew possible, the young kul sat near the back where none but the sleeping and the shady cared to rest their sorry hides.

Almost as soon as the rich drink hit his reptilian tongue, Nuzadth immediately spat it back into his tankard, staring at the concoction in horror. It tasted like the rotten sludge his kind scraped off of their beaches post a year-long battle underwater, the stuff that came out of bloated corpses when they erupted on their land. With no desire to try that bitter excuse for a depressant, the reptile sat there in the back, checking his armor before crossing his arms and simply watching the crowd ahead, observing their little dances, having the misfortune of smelling their vomit.

The quiet chittering of K'laxicx was all Gweyr heard from her tent atop the mighty arachnid. She had been relaxing after a successful bounty hunt, carrying a nice bag of coin she intended to spend on supplies in the nearby village. As per usual, screams of fear were the first thing that roused her as the arachnid marched into the town, to many folks spiders this size were a fairy tale.

Pushing aside the cloth of her tent Gweyr looked outside, a coy smirk on her face as she saw all the panicked faces below her. K'laxicx didn't seem to pay them any mind, focusing herself on the destination. Soon, the market appeared before the towering arachnid and she halted in the clearing, the stores below her body.

Gweyr simply threw herself down, the clash of metal on rock echoing through the village. ''Come on people, she's a spider.. we've all seen spiders. I'm here to buy.'' a sudden tap on her shoulder caused Gweyr to turn, Guards, of course. she thought as she looked upon the face of a less then happy guard, a glint of fear in his eyes ''Your spider cannot be here.'' he simply stated, seconds later metal clashed with metal as Gweyr's fist nestled itself in the guards chest, causing him to cough up blood as his armor splintered. He reached out of her, gurgling something incomprehensible '"Rawgr, blargh..'' she copied his pitiful noises ''A little louder lamb chop, you have a collapsed lung and splintered rib cage, that always impedes the oratory.'' she carassed his cheeks before promptly pushing him away causing him to fall.

''Any other takers?'' she simply asked, all the surrounding folks ducking away, even the guards. ''Now let me shop!''

The noise and screams outside were just enough to get the young Kul to grin in excitement. It seemed his fight would come to him... He exited the bar just as he saw the elven woman practically tear a fully armored human guard's chest right out, a titanic building sized spider towering behind her. It was all Nuzadth could do to smile widely... happily. He slammed his fist into his palm, cracking his knuckles on one hand, then the other, sizing up his opponents. As the people, even the guards melted away from the scene, all that stood between the elven creature and her spider, was a lone Xathurathian Lizard-man, His arms held in front of him in a fighting stance, loose, but powerful. His blue scales glinted radiantly in the sunlight as his black-clawed toes tug into the loose cobble-stone roads, the tension hanging in the air obvious. It was as if lightning was crackling between them... well... the three of them.

"My lady elf...." Kull Nuzadth addressed her, giving the beautiful and powerful creature all the respect she and her kind deserved. "You're sssstrength and flair is legendary jussst with your presssenccce. Honor me in combat... Allow me to tesssst myself againssst you." His forked tough slipped in and out of his mouth as he spoke, his voice a bubbling hiss as his abnormally shaped mouth attempted to form common language. These land-races and their complex tongue and lip movements... he might as well be speaking telepathically for how difficult this was... Nevertheless, he was sure he spoke the words he intended, though, in truth, this was a fight he was instigating whether she wanted it or not. This elf had taken the life of a helpless human runt, as armed and armored as he may have been. It was a dishonorable act in it of itself to end the lives of whelps, even if they caused a passing inconvenience as this one did. She was an elf, an honored race among his people and this was the reason he didn't strike her down already.... Well... that and the giant towering arachnid behind her.

Starting off the battle whether or not she agreed, Kul Nuzadth lunged forward on his powerful legs, closing the few meters of distance between them almost in a flash. His clawed feet jabbed quickly at her upper leg and chest, the claws on each toe intent on ripping pieces of her crystal-like armor apart in the process. They were definitely low kicks, especially for him, what with her frame almost half his height. Whether or not she managed to evade his attacks, before she could put distance between them again, the Kul would shoot his foot forward, his goal wrapping his clawed toes around her face upon impact, digging into the base of her skull. Throughout his maneuvers, he kept a reptilian eye on the spider, certain it would make a move to defend it's master. He could only hope the surrounding buildings would deter the spider's mobility, making its use restricted somewhat.

A broad smirk crossed onto Gweyr's face as the lizard charged, the silver spider shooting forth from atop the arachnid and forming into a tower shield before Gweyr, causing the lizard men's attack to blindly clash with her shield. K'laxicx charged forward, two of her fore legs moving to impale the lizard from either side while he was bashing the tower shield.

Regardless of the success Gweyr would jump back the tower shield now forming into what seemed to be a clockwork rifle. Meanwhile, K'laxicx began to burrow, disappearing entirely from sight within moments despite her massive frame, crushing entire structures as she did. ''Should've picked on someone your own size.'' she winked at the lizard before a loud bang followed, a small but destructive orb of green fell fire rushing out the barrel and toward the lizard's chest, fully intent on instantly ending his life.

After the shot was fired, the clockwork rifle turned into two short swords, Gweyr charging the lizard and attempting to horizontally cut up his mid section.

Nuzadth's claws raked against the steel-looking shield that raised in front of her, the sheer force of his blows shoving her back an inch or two, but nothing too substantial. He took a moment to observe her unique weapon that this level of might could not shatter. Truely, this must have either been an incredibly enchanted work of steel, or... it just wasn't steel fore the young Kul could shatter it easily. The massive spider overhead attempted to strike him down with it's front legs, coming at him from both sides in an effort to confuse him, but this lizard could use more than just his legs in combat. Waiting for the spider's legs to get within range, The Kul slammed his fists into the arachnid's claws at the end of her feet as they lunged at him, the meeting of their strengths canceling out the other's completely. Just as quickly as it struck, the spider withdrew, as did the Kul, kicking off the elf's shield and forcing her to jump back to regain her balance. He landed another couple of meters away as the spider started to burrow beneath the surface, shattering dozens of buildings beneath her massive weight.

The girl's shield morphed into a rifle and fired a blast of green, sick fire at him in an attempt to burn him to cinders. Despite the power of the flame-ball, Nuzadth was quicker and easily side-stepped the the flame-bolt, the twisted spell slamming into the road not too far behind him, that patch set ablaze with a disgusting green glow. in an effort to keep him on his back foot, the girl struck at him with her rifle-now-shortswords, slicing at his belly with both in a horizontal cut. Seeing his chance, the Kul took a step back and raised his foot, his clawed toes catching her wrist before the blades could even get close to their mark. With a twist of his waist, the lizard wrenched the blades from her hands whist continuing the motion, bringing his other leg around to slam into the side of her head in a round-house kick easily capable of decapitating an elf such as her self without any effort. Following that motion up, he continued the rotation, his massive tail lashing around behind him, slamming into her stomach with enough force to send her flying at least 10 meters away.

As for the spider, The young Kul kept a close watch on the ground at his feet, making note of the subtle vibrations that might indicate the surfacing of a giant arachnid.

Gweyr couldn't help but chuckle as the lizard thought of disarming her, the moment he did the weapon reverted into its spider form and sunk its razor sharp fangs into his legs, denying him any kind of follow up. Following the lizard's confusion she tore herself free from his grip and exhaled green fire, scorching the lizard and allowing herself to back away.

The small spider jumped back to its master, forming into a twohander ''Psh.. brute strength wont even help you put a dent in this gear.'' she tapped her armor with a grin. Seconds later, as hard as he may have tried, he was not magically keen enough to detect a master hunter like K'laxicx, the spider burst from underneath him massive claws sending him tumbling across the ground like a ragdoll. He may have thought himself physically superior to Gweyr, but to K'laxicx he was nothing but a rag-doll, ready to be flung around at her whim.

''The spider I and you the fly.'' Gweyr simply beckoned the lizard, figuring the oaf would simply charge again.

"You ssssure do laugh a lot, elf." The young Kul noted, letting go of her hand and swiveling to the side to avoid her dark green fire-breath, incinerating the spot where he once stood. Standing only a foot or two away from her when the spider surfaced again. The strength of it's reentry likely sent the girl flying as well. Sensing the reverberations just before they reached their arachnid climax, Nuzadth was able to brace himself just enough to remain in control of his flight, landing deftly on the side of a building near the roof, his foot-claws anchoring him to wall as he stared down at the spider in the hole and her master likely besides. Suddenly his hands would grow wet with the condensation of the air, forcing his magic into the area around him and drawing the fluids out of the air, especially around that of the spider. Poor big thing needed to breath didn't it? And if there was no water in the air it breathed... there was very little the behemoth would get out of each breath.

Extending his fingers he pointed on hand at the elven girl the other a the giant arachnid before a hail of aquatic bullets rained down upon them like a barrage of arrows, seemingly endless. The bullets what went wide of their targets dug into the rock and dirt below them, cutting into the structures as if they were nothing but butter. If either tried to move, his arms would track them just as quickly, intent on keeping the heat on them for as long as possible. It was likely that this barrage of attacks would injure the spider eventually, even if it were minimal and as for the elf, she would surely sustain damage if struck directly, let alone being pelted with sustained fire. The only way she could avoid such damage would be if she had some sort of heavy-ish armor about her, the kind that could deflect armor-piercing arrows. From The Kul's perspective however, all she had was some seemingly light armor around her torso with nothing protecting her head. As each droplet hit it's target, it would drill into the surface before falling away to it's watery state, leaving the surface completely soaked and riddled.

K'laxicx sunk back underground the moment she felt the water being drained from her proximity, figuring that closing the visual link would cause it to stop, taking her chances in an environment that served her own needs.

Meanwhile Gweyr simply floated on a piece of earth, looking up at the lizard with an amused grin taking her helmet from her belt and plopping it onto her head, tapping the side. Soon, she felt herself in the hail of bullets, the water bullets bouncing off the crystallized gear. It did however stop her from moving properly and that just annoyed Gweyr. In response, she stomped her foot and twisted it, a massive wall of rock and earth rising from the ground to block him from continuing his fire. It would not last forever, but long enough for her to use her geomancy to travel underground.

She would suddenly sink, disappearing underground moving at an alarming pace through K'laxicx's tunnels. Eventually, when underneath the lizard she burst from the ground again, returning the favor to him by sending a massive boulder straight at him, spikes protruding from its sides. Behind it would be Gweyr, armor smashing twohander in hand as she fully intended to cut him down horizontally.

The Kul stopped firing on the arachnid the moment it sunk back into it's hole, the dirt where it once sat was already soaked enough to give the reptile a home-advantage. Already, with only a few moments of continuous assault, the reptile had already covered the area up to 4 inches with water, even if they simply ricocheted off of her armor. Of course, this meant her armor was soaked too, an advantage waiting to be exploited. In an attempt to relieve her of the assault, she summoned a massive wall of stone in front of her, granted only a very temporary relief. His aquatic bullets tore through the rock and earth with ease, only a second or two passing before the scenery could be observed on the other side. Though, instead of seeing the surprised, dented armor of the girl behind her protection, all he saw was the perforated ground where she once stood, a large, person-sized hole standing in her place.

He knew this was not the end, that she had not ran from the battlefield... This girl didn't have a shred of fear or doubt about her throughout any portion of their fight. No... a better idea was that she was tunneling underground as with her pet spider, looking for a way to catch him off guard. She had just shown him her capability to control earth after all... With a snap of his reptilian fingers, dark, heavy clouds began to coagulate above them followed by a crack of thunder bolt of lightning. Rain began to pour upon the wrecked town, not only revitalizing the lizard-man and granting him more strength and speed, but now, with his exceptional aquamancy, he could feel every little vibration that stirred the puddles below him, on the wall or the ground. Even before she fully resurfaced, massive two-handed blade in tow, Nuzadth felt the disruption in water, making it easy for him to determine her location. The elf rushed up the building and attempted to slash him in half with her blade, but before it even managed to complete a half-swing, the weapon stopped dead, held in place by a tentacle of water growing from the wall just an inch or two behind her. Her weapon would likely be unable to move, given the ever-growing strength of the aquatic reptilian, his own energy not waning in the slightest. He didn't even have to use his magic to keep this little storm going. All he had to do was.... will it into existence. Nature picked up on the rest. As for it's shifting ability, Nuzadth waited in anticipation, looking for any and all attempts to see what she was going to transform it into next. He knew that the moment it stared, he would likely have an idea what it would be before it was fully formed. The young Kul would stare down at her with those glowing, reptilian eyes of his as she tugged harder and harder by the rain coagulating on her armor, almost as if it were increasing the weight of her suit.

The more and more she stayed in this rain, the more and more she would be weighed down. The water on her armor condensed into a light sheet on the surface, forcing her to suffer the intense burden of the ever-rising pounds of water. If that weren't enough the flooded earth at her feet would act almost like a syrup, resisting any and all attempts to slosh through it's territory. The young Kul crossed his arms, wondering if the spider would risk its own exoskeleton to retrieve its soon-to-be doomed master, or if she would make a jab at the caster. Nevertheless, this little fight was going to be short unless she managed to get them out of the water. Even so... she would be heavily soaked, practically a puppet if he wished such a disgraceful fate. The spider, however, was relatively dry...

Gweyr simply rose a brow as the tentacle grasped the metal, she figured a blunt weapon may not have been the right choice and as such shifted it to a katana, cutting through the tendril like butter. She also noted how the lizard un-imaginatively used aquamancy. ''Should've seen that one coming, Gweyr she thought to herself, using the surface of the structure to launch her away landing in the dirt a few feet away.

She already knew his plan, create enough water and then exploit that, it was un-imaginative to say the least, so with a simple flick of her finger she covered herself in fell fire. She decided that it was clearly time she took this battle a little more seriously, at-least to the point of actively using her powers. As such, two silent taps of her foot were enough to cause the earth in a fifty meter radius to just sink into the ground, creating a massive sinkhole with holes at the edges to drain his water. She herself floated on a piece of rock and K'laxicx had long since burrowed deeper into the ground, well below the sink hole where she was creating a den.

The katana formed into two clockwork pistols and she soon rode the floating rock toward wherever the lizard may have landed, strafing him with bullet after bullet.
