Silver had taken Amber with her on what was promised to be a LONG trip into town, possibly not being able to come home until later that night. Aeizith would miss his dear girl-friend so, not to mention the girl he considered his daughter, but he still had work around the house to complete... there was floors that needed dusting, pots and pans that needed cleaning and his assassins needed their orders that he had yet to compile... As much as sitting around, waiting for his family to get home sounded attractive, he DID have work to do... And so, climbing out of bed, the little ice dragon pulled his clothes together and made his way downstairs where he was greeted by a pair of his assassins graciously cleaning the surfaces without prior instruction. They smiled at him and he smiled back like they weren't merely his servants, but friends doing him a favor... It was always how he preferred to look at the men and women under his command... When needed, they were soldiers, people who WOULD follow him without question but other times... they were just people he was living with, people he loved about as much as Silver and Amber... In a way, his family didn't leave with their departure... He didn't feel so alone this morning...

Being a vampire, the dragon didn't require any real solid breakfastey foods, instead deciding he'd go out on a walk this early morning... Slipping on his ring that protected him from the sun's vengeful rays, Aeizith waved goodbye to his people before heading out into the woods, his hands stuffed into his pockets. It didn't take him long to get lost in the woods, just as he liked it, surprised that all the surrounding animal life had ground to a sudden silence the moment he was detected. Perhaps this was him being absent-minded, but he kept forgetting he was one of the undead scourge now, that animals feared him and silenced themselves to avoid detection... sure, before, the silence was only when he couldn't control his magic and he never noticed it then but now... now that he could hear the nothing... it was... disconcerting...
