Vanutei
1. Racial DescriptionThis Race consists of two forms: Herba Form and Terra Form.
Herba Form: Elf/Human looking beings ranging from 4'9" to 6'3". They have earth colored hair ranging from forest like greens to earth like browns. Their eye colors range from Green to Hazel and their physiques vary from scrawny to athletically built to bulky to well-rounded. Skin is usually olive to light tan. Their hair is either braided or ruffled typically. Typically live for 1000-1500 years give or take. At 489 years of age a typical Vanutei won't look a day over 25.
Terra Form: Giants made out of the stone from the earth. The stone itself is typically grey, charcoal or a sandy brown. Prominent cracks reside all over the body, all of which resonate a kind of light or aura native to the terra form. The beings typically have no mouths but can still communicate verbally. Theur eyes are round and shine the light of their aura as well. The color of the aura varies from vanutei to vanutei. These giants range from 25ft to 65ft and are all typically built well; athletically and proportioned properly. They are also immortal, if the Vanutei dies the terra spirit simply goes back to Gaia waiting for a new vanutei to be born or reincarnated.
2. SocietyThe Vanutei are a very humble group of people who enjoy the peaceful things in life that require no bloodshed, they only ever activate their Terra forms when a crisis approaches and even then it is always used as a last resort. Vanutei present themselves well and don't live life for the riches, but for the happiness. They are intune with the earth and treat it with care and respect. They also do not believe they are better than anyone else and believe no one is better than one another... (minus murderers and things alone those lines)
3. NamesVanutei typically have names that start with 'V' e.g.: Victor, Vernos, Valaris, etc.
4. Gender and SexualityVanutei believe in polygamy and are all usually bisexual. Gender wise they are male or female, but their Terra spirits do not have to be the same gender as they are.
5. DietThey eat very little meat and a plethora of vegetables, plants, berries, etc.
6. Views on MagicThey practice making potions in their Herba form. They can usually manipulate plant life at will as well in this form. They are also able to communicate with plants and create them from their own bodies. In their Terra form the use the earth itself as a sort of generator, providing them power beyond belief, allowing them to heal and manipulate/control earth in all forms. A vanutei's blood also has minor healing properties, being able to quickly heal scraps, cuts, bruises, minor gashes, etc. Also they are able to partially transform parts of their body into the terra spirit.
7. StyleVanutei typically dress up in white blouses, brown fitted overalls and nice brown shoes. This is the typical attire in their community but it is not one that needs to be followed.
8. ReligionVanutei believe in the Goddess Gaia, for she is the one who granted them their gifts, and all she asks for in return is that the protect the earth in which she lets them walk on. They do believe in reincarnation. When a vanutei dies they release and essence from their body than can be harvested and planted in the ground to form a sort of rebirth for the passing vanutei, however the essence that the dying vanutei releases is far more valuable than they let on. It has been known to have extreme healing properties such as reattaching severed limbs, healing any wound, and even in some causes bringing others back to life.

Vanutei (VAH-noo-TAE)
Fissure Walkers
Known to possess the spirit of both man and nature, the Vanutei are one of the most respected races among the bunch. Having two forms (Herba and Terra) the Vanutei is able to sweep the field as well as heal themselves and allies. Their Herba form allows them to resemble wood elves, being able to manipulate plants, create potions, as well as poisons. Some can even shoot poison needles from their bodies.
Their Terra form usually resembles a large humanoid shaped stone golem. The Vanutei's body in this state is covered in various cracks that radiate the color of their aura. While in this state Vanutei have been known to possess insane power. A man by the name of Victor Del Kuni was able to break the sound barrier using a single punch at the start of his Terra form transformation.
A Vanutei's Terra form is a spirit in itself with a name and personality separate from the Vanutei's herba form. The two must be in sync at all times for perfect transformation and control.
When a Vanutei is noticed by Gaia their goddess she offers her heart to them granting them the ability to achieve a form unheard of and unseen.
Vanutei aren't at all violent beings and will do anything to protect those from harming each other...though a few vanutei have been known to cut ties with their race and gaia to live a rule free lifestyle the rest hold no grudges.
