· Physical Description ·Glyssa, being the petite little thing she is, doesn't look like she's much older than fifteen. Especially since she wears cute, frilly dresses ( though certainly in dark colors). This is because she was very young when she went through ritual possession and that has dramatically increased her life span and sort of locked her in this very young look - though she is very much
not a little girl.
If she never opened her mouth
and her eyes weren't bloody red she could probably pass for a very odd, young girl to a wealthy, and equally odd, family. Her clothes are nice, her hair is long and well taken care of, and she has a very huge ego and sense of pride when it comes to how she looks. This stems heavily from the devil that has possessed her, and reflects on her outward appearance.
That being said, her smiles seem
off and there's a wicked, almost otherworldly glint to her red eyes. Never mind the supernatural strength it takes to wield the large, stylized axe she uses when it's time to go a'murdering. It's her most favorite way of killing people and she's very good at it. She doesn't have it all the time, and can call it to her whenever she wants to use it. Think of it like a loyal pet, more than a weapon, and she dismisses it when it's not convenient to lug a giant metal axe around.
Arts: Rory Mercury's Axe from the Anime Gate - from the Anime itself Glyssa has a lot of different facets to her personality, having grown up with both a demon and devil occupying the same headspace as, well, herself. She shares her body with both the chaotic, demon monster Xog'droxir and the cunningly cruel devil Parirsho, and their influences color her actions. She is both cruel, calculating, sweet, a walking disaster, forgiving, and playful. All of these moods change depending on the situation and what needs done.
At base, Glyssa is a sweet girl that was born into a cultish guild and
gifted with both demonic and diabolic power that she struggles to control every day. Sometimes that slips through the cracks, and it is reflected in her actions. She's never outright murderous, but she can be accidentally destructive.
Ever positive, even about her own situation, you'll be hard pressed to find this girl down and out. Murder, chaos, and her own inevitable destruction by the otherworldly creatures inside her are bound to make her smile, and in all likelihood, giggle.
· Parirsho ·Parirsho is a very old devil with the patience of a monster who has an eternity to get what they want. She is cruel and calculating and a large part of Glyssa's decisive, destructive magical prowess. Parirsho is wildly possessive of Glyssa's soul and will not have it taken by another. However, if given an opportunity, the devil will let harm come to the girl. After all, the sooner Glyssa dies, the sooner she can claim what rightfully belongs to her.
Parirsho is not resentful of the possession or the control Glyssa has over her, because she knows it is temporary. In the time line of an immortal evil, Glyssa is but the pause between breaths. Inconsequential. The real delight is the sweet inhale of her soul when this is all over. In that, Parirsho has a sort of sardonic, even calm humor about the situation. The cat smiling at the mouse while the mouse cracks jokes - not aware the cat has it by the tail.
· Xog'droxir ·If Parirsho is the calm, calculating side of Glyssa, Xog is her sheer capacity for pure destruction. He is not a creature of thought, but of destruction and action. He doesn't care about anyone or anything and wants only to mutilate, maim, and destroy. The bloodier, the better. He is the very definition of chaos - a monster birthed from it and wants only that. He is tempered heavily by both Glyssa's control and the presence of Parirsho, but that doesn't mean he likes being reigned in.
Turned lose, Xog is literally a demon unleashed. The only exception to this is his hunger for Glyssa's soul - which is second to none. Given the opportunity, he would turn his destructive desire upon her and consume her completely. Because of this, he views Parirsho - rightly so - as competition.
· Magic / Abilities ·Known in her cult as an Archfiend, Glyssa was possessed by Xog'droxir and Parirsho when she was very young. This gave her ample time to learn to control both under supervision of other demonologists and diabolists. She was considered
chosen for this and, given she's still alive and kicking, so far so good.
As an Archfiend, she commands and controls Xog and Parirsho. They generally remain dormant - to most others - within her. While she can always commune with them, and they her, she can manifest either one physically at will and direct them.
Xog: A 12 ft tall monster of a demon with a long, snake like neck that ends in the beastial head and a muzzle full of teeth longer than most daggers. His body is a mass of muscle and covered in coarse, gray fur over red-black skin. His strength and speed is supernatural, he heals quick - especially when he feeds on flesh - and pain is not a deterrent. Should he be physically destroyed, he retreats to a place within Glyssa. He can only be actually defeated by killing Glyssa. This does, however, prevent them from being manifest for a time.
Parirsho : She is a slender, 6ft tall human-esque looking devil with a blackened face, long inky hair, and black claws at the end of her long fingers. She casts hell-fire magic and is quite quick, usually faster than a human and most other mortal creatures. She much prefers to use magic and cunning in a fight than brute force. Much like Xog, if she is physically destroyed she is cast back to Glyssa and can only be actually defeated by killing Glyssa. This does, however, prevent them from being manifest for a time.
Glyssa herself is supernaturally strong and quick, but not nearly like that of her summoned monsters. It's more a residual effect of having them apart of her. It's enough that she could put up quite a fight against most well trained knights or fighters and enable her to swing her axe with a speed one normally could, or would, not. She can heal quicker than normal if she feasts on flesh like Xog might.
- If she dies, Xog and Parirsho fight to consume her soul and are banished back to their home plane. So. That's sort of defeating them. >_>
· Relationships ·Archfiend Cult : She seeks approval desperately, even if she is ultimately just a tool.
· History · · Additional Notes ·I'm probably forgetting some things, but ultimately Glyssa is a tiny monster that brings about other monsters through a series of unfortunate events. She's not meant to be a destructive force of nature intentionally... Just... Sometimes accidentally.
