{PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION} DEFINITELY NOT HUMAN; The most obvious aspect to Eva's appearance is that he's an Ashman. "Pale" is an understatement, and his (literally) porcelain skin is only broken here and there by scarring, especially around his right shoulder where a complex series of scarification has made intricate designs out of his natural inlay. His hair, a deep obsidian black, he wears just long enough to show off the natural curl to it. He keeps his beard cropped close to his face, which has earned him more than a few odd looks from his fellow Ashmen.
Recently, he's earned himself a particularly vicious scar on the last raiding campaign he was sent on. It still hurts like hell, and is freshly dark.
BUILT VOLCANO TOUGH; As only befits an Ironblooded Ashman, Eva was built to be a soldier. His shoulders are broad, his biceps strong, and every inch of him has been forged for strength and endurance. The only softness to him is his face— while he's sustained some battle damage over the years, it's obvious that he's still young and has plenty more time on this earth. Y'know, assuming he doesn't get stabbed to death.
Standard dress for him is typical of his caste. Practical, easy to wear, and fits comfortably under layers of armor. He doesn't own much formal wear, and is hesitant to put it on as a result.
{PERSONALITY} JUST A BIT OFF; When given the chance to observe him in his home environment, it becomes more obvious that Eva is a bit awkward. He's a soldier, through and through, but has a distinct amount of trouble turning that part of himself off. He's always a little stiff, a little stern, more like he's standing at attention rather than eating dinner in his own home. As such, his relationship to other people is a little strained. It's hard to get him to relax, and he's earned more than his fair share of dislike from his fellow Ashmen for being such a hardass. Which just makes it
extra cringey when he genuinely tries to be 'chill' and it just endlessly falls flat.
INTROVERTED; He's not good at being around people. Between his stiffness, how terrible he is at pretending to not be overly stiff, and equally not knowing how to work any of that to his advantage, he's found it to be much easier to just kind of keep to himself. As such, he prefers individual activities versus any large gatherings, and if on the off chance he ever is invited to a dinner party of some sort, you can bet your life's savings that he'd be keeping to the food table to avoid having to mingle.
ART ENTHUSIAST; Still, he does appreciate the finer things in life. A great lover of beauty, music and art, he collects quite a bit, and can get a little passionate when talking about any of it. He can spend forever staring at something he finds beautiful, which can sometimes get a man into serious trouble...
Fun Facts!:- Cannot speak Trader to save his life. Pretty sure the only word he knows is "yes".
- Is a bit of a wine snob.
- Owns quite an extensive collection of books. Some from the mainland so he can't understand any of it, but he likes the craftsmanship of illuminated manuscripts or calligraphy.
