Name: Lowen Thorn / Ipsen (depending on current state of personality - Dissociative Identity)
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Height: 5'11"
Occupation: Odd jobs to get by
Residence: Currently searching for a place to call home (Wanderer)

Physical Description
Lowen stands at an average height, boasting an average-to-athletic build that gives him a balanced and fit appearance. His light brown hair, adorned with loose curls, cascades around his tanned face, framing features that include hazel oak eyes with hints of forest green in the left eye. A warm smile reveals straight teeth, adding to the charm of his demeanor.

His typical attire consists of a long-sleeved shirt in either white or gray, paired with green pants and well-worn brown leather boots that bear the scars of numerous adventures. Lowen is always armed with a simple dagger, securely strapped to his hip. Around his neck, a small leather necklace supports a ring, while a battered gray backpack carries the few belongings he possesses.

Personality
Lowen is a kind-hearted man with a warm and inviting personality, though he often grapples with inner thoughts that trouble him physically. Unaware of his past, he approaches each day with eagerness, displaying a genuine curiosity about the world and its inhabitants. His natural wit and boyish charm shine through, yet he exercises restraint when meeting someone for the first time. Guided by a strong moral compass, he acts in accordance with his beliefs, standing resolute in what he deems right and wrong.

Possessing a baritone voice with a slight rasp, Lowen exudes calmness. When he believes no one is around, he engages in the soothing practice of singing or humming to ease his mind. The jury is still out on whether his singing is any good.

In stark contrast to Lowen, Ipsen possesses a wit that, while similar, takes on a more sinister tone, and his charm is deeply rooted in a devil-may-care attitude. Sneaky and manipulative, Ipsen's true nature remains a mystery—whether he is a genuine force of evil in this world or merely a trickster who cannot be trusted.
Whereas Ipsen is fully aware of Lowen's existence, Lowen knows nothing about Ipsen.

Magic/Abilities

Lowen possesses remarkable agility, making speed his greatest asset. Proficient with a variety of blades, he favors daggers and knives for their lightweight nature and ease of use during his travels. While Lowen doesn't have any known magical abilities, he has experienced instances of healing by touch in the past, though the method eludes his understanding.

Ipsen shares the same abilities as skillset as Lowen, but he is not afraid to, and actually prefers, to fight dirty.

Relationships
No known relationships at this time

History
A little over 4 years ago, Lowen woke up in a bed that wasn't his, in the home of an elderly couple he did not know, and in a place he did not recognize (later to find out it was La'marri). He had no recollection of who he was or where he came from. Prior to that day, the Thorns found him badly injured and unconscious outside of town, and took him in to their home so he could recover. Lowen remained with the couple for several years after that, helping them out in any way he could to repay them for saving his life - thus becoming a part of their family.

Since he didn't know his real name, the Thorns started calling him Lowen, the name they wanted to give to a son if they ever had one. When the Thorns both passed away, Lowen started introducing himself as 'Lowen Thorn.' Since their passing, he has been steadily wandering from town to town - hoping to discover who he was before he lost his memory and searching for a place to call home.

The cause of Lowen's amnesia, unknown to him, is rooted in deep psychological trauma. In addition to losing his memory, Lowen developed a second personality - Ipsen - that will sometimes take over when Lowen feels trapped, pushed over the edge, or is facing a hardship. Ipsen knows the history that Lowen desperately seeks, but keeps that information and himself hidden from Lowen. It is unknown if the Thorns ever had an interaction with Ipsen.
