As he watched her, Ylrae grinned confidently. She was sure she could do it by now - and if not, she could always run away and go look for a healer, or some herbs or something. Crazy her, she'd look for her old healer if she had to. Did she dare to try something?

But hey. Sikle was giving her a chance! She made a soft humming noise, nodding her head slightly, as she looked at him. Paw first, she could do that, couldn't she? Since it was just a sprain. She slowly took his paw in her hand, her fingers running over the joint, and she continued to hum for a moment longer.

For a moment or so, closed her eyes, before opening them, foreign words flowing from her tongue as she stared at his paw. Her fingernails and crystal began glowing a faint blue as she healed his paw. After a few seconds, she stopped glowing and let his paw go, tilting her head to the side. "Did it work?" she asked him.

((Oh yeah, feel free to give him, like, a third arm or anything like that, lol. Or to, like, not heal him or heal more or whatever. ^_^))

(Lol! I'll be nice and let her heal him ^^)

Sikle pressed his body further into the bed as she reached for his paw, but stood still otherwise. He'd said yes, so he had to go through with it. He'd put a little bit of faith in her, and hope that nothing terribly weird happened.
Erk.

He watched as her stone and nails began to blow as words he didn't understand came from her mouth. There was a slight tingling sensation in his paw, and then...
Nothing.
She'd either made his paw go numb, or she'd healed it.
Please let it be the second option...

Gingerly, he placed his paw back on the bed, and then blinked those luminous yellow eyes a few times. It...was healed. She'd actually fixed it. And nothing weird had happened! Incredible...
It seemed he could trust her a bit more. Even if she was a bit off...her intentions had been true enough, and she'd been able to come through for him.
Alright.
Thank you Ylrae...It's healed. You can try on my wing now, alright? And then...we should probably get some sleep.
He shifted to the side, allowing her easier access to his mangled wing.
He just hoped that this went as smoothly as his paw...

((Teehee, accidental double-post... lol!))

That was really odd. Her head felt a tiny bit swimmy, but it wasn't bad, or at least, it wasn't anything she wasn't used to. But hey... it really worked! She was surprised in that, but kept herself calm - meaning, she kept herself from bouncing up and down in excitement - as he thanked her. At that, she grinned.

"See? I'm not all that bad..." she told him.

But then he moved himself a bit closer, eager to have his wing fixed. And she knew she couldn't screw this up. She just had to do this the way she had done his paw. She nodded slightly, then reached for his wing, her fingers shaking slightly as she moved them to his wing, gently running his fingers along the joints and the wounds. Her eyes closed and she began to hum again. And once again, her eyes opened while her crystal and fingernails began to glow, and she murmured different words, though still in the same foreign language, in the hopes she was healing his wing and not sprouting feathers.

(Hee! *deletes one*)

Sikle rolled his eyes at her comment. Not that bad his ass...
But he had to admit, this was useful, and he was glad Ylrae was able to do it without messing anything up.

Or, at least, not messing anything up...yet
That was about to change.

She managed to do both.

Sikle felt his wing healing this time, felt the bones shift back into proper position. It sort of tingled all over, and he was glad it didn't hurt. He wasn't a big fan of pain...
And then that tingling turned into a prickling sensation, and then...
YLRAE!!!
The dragon-cat bounced away from her, staring in horror as his newly mended wing start to sprout black and green feathers. He held the appendage away from him as if it were diseased, unable to find a way to stop the feathers from growing.
Mrowling angrily, he began to rip feathers out with his mouth, but the pain was soon too intense, and he was forced to stop.

Now, his wing looked like that of a bird's, his other wing still leathery and bat-like.
He was awefully mis-matched, and didn't look too happy about it.
All the hair along his back rose on end as he glared daggers at Ylrae.
What did you do to me girl!?

((Hahaha! You made him a bird!!))

Ylrae found herself staring in shock. Though she felt tired immediately, her surprise at the magical accident caused her eyes to widen. Well... wasn't that interesting. No scales, no dragon-like wing... but feathers. Feathers! She didn't even know she could do that!

She blinked. "Wow..." she whispered softly, staring at him. A bit afraid that he'd claw at her eyes - like he had threatened - she rose to her feet, taking two steps back from the bed as she raised a finger to her lips. "Didn't know I could do that," she mumbled, biting her fingertip. Actually, she hadn't been sure she could do anything....

But could she make him feel better on it? Well, there were three options she could do: one - look for someone who could reverse magic, two - offer to attempt to fix it, or three - offer to change the other wing. "Um... want me to try to fix it? Or find someone?" she asked, sure he wouldn't take kindly to the second option. But from there, she shrugged slightly. "Well... at least it's healed, right?"
