A small girl that appeared around the age of 10 with mischievous green eyes and long black hair hidden beneath the hood of her cream colored cloak explored the streets of Ketra. The girl was Sakura princess of Adela and was well known from sneaking away from her body guard's and Palace security's watchful eyes. She peered into one of the shops looking at the selection of toys and games. She then continued to skip down the cobbled streets stopping once to pet a puppy she spotted lying in the sun in front of a yarn shop. The memory on how she fooled the palace guards telling them she be in her room studying or sleeping of course they were easy to fool, her bodyguard Haru wasn’t. Luckily she had been able to trick him into doing an errand , so she sneaked out the main hall window by climbing down the vines of ivy that grew along the palace walls.

Haru walked into the main hall of the palace holding a small bag in his gloved hand “ Why in the world would she want root tea leaves?� the young man thought he had been the young princess’s bodyguard for a good number of years now and had come to know very quickly that she had absolutely no taste for bitter things and root tea leaves were useless as a medicinal herbs…. “ Don’t tell me!� he thought aloud and hurried up the stairs to one of the large rooms the bag forgotten. Opening the door he was greeted by a mountain of stuffed animals obviously meant for whoever tried to open the door. Once he clawed his way out of the plushy avalanche he called for two of the guards who were staring at him “ Where is Sakura?� he demanded one of two , a scrawny man, spoke up “ She told us that she was going to be studying or sleeping and not to disturb her� but then shrank back with a terrified yelp as Haru’s fist nearly missed his head “ And you idiots believed her!� he growled. “ Well she IS the princess sir� the other guard answered his friend cowering behind him. A string a curses left Haru’s mouth as he ran back down the stairs and back onto to the horse he had been riding, kicking it into a gallop “ that girl is going to send me to an early grave!� he thought as the stallion hoof beats became faint to anyone at the castle.
