Surely, you are destined for much greater places. I am certain the Lord Ekjin destined for us to meet today!" declared the richly dressed man on his knees holding Lilith's hand. He was a member of a much larger temple father away, but she couldn't remember if he was a bishop or paladin or something else.
Lilith supposed this was going to happen at some point or other, but she never assumed it would be quite so dramatic. Demon or not, she was still incredibly beautiful by human standards and could attract a fair amount of followers on that alone. It was a wonder someone hadn't come to pouch her sooner. And by the look in his eye, the man was apealing to her purely for business reasons either.
Her tail flicked nervously as she strained to find any answer that would not offend him too much.
