Physical Description

Agapito is of average height for his people as he is neither the tallest nor the shortest of Ashmen. He has a rather triangular shape about him with a broader chest that tapers down into a slimmer waist. His preferred attire is usually all black and long. He's very rarely seen without some long coat or vest on and dark well-shined boots. His outfits though are always accented with the shimmer of shells and pearls as well as the stark contrast of bone jewellery.

Both ears sport pearl stud earrings that start at the forward helix and go all way down the helix to his ear lobes. The lobes themselves get changed out for whatever suits his fancy which can be another simple pair of studs, long dangly baubles, or his particular favourite a pair of asymmetrical earrings. His fingers also sport several rings and his nails are painted black. Agapito also has a sizeable pearl piercing in his tongue which he loves to joke about making him an oyster.

His hair is jet-black with the sides kept short and the top kept long and always painstakingly styled with oils and perfumes. His beard is likewise kept very well-maintained if rather short in comparison to his brethren. This is done though to show off the filigree scarification that covers the entirety of his throat, neck, collar, and tops of his shoulders just above his genetic Bismuth-coloured "inlay."

Agapito has a long face with sharp cheekbones that gives him the appearance of having been chiseled from the finest of stone, a fact he is incredibly proud of. There is almost always a knowing smirk tugging ever so slightly at his lips and a dark sparkle of mischief glinting in his multi-coloured, black-rimmed eyes.

Personality

IS IT BUSINESS

Agapito is a rather astute and confident young man. He's very in tune with with people and with his environment, able to read a room and supposedly act accordingly. The only trouble there comes in when he chooses to dance to the beat of his own drum (see below). In all things business though he is very talented as both an artist and a man of magic.

He is very aware that his interests in the macabre are not as readily accepted by others. If anything, their reactions only serve to fuel his own amusement and enjoyment in it all. If you make a contract with him, expect him to fulfill it; just be careful what you wish for because there is no going back from here.

Tread with caution too for should you cross him it will not only be sharp barbs you encounter from him. He will hex you and your son, and your son's son, and perhaps even your son's son's son should he consider the crime grievous enough. It is uncertain just how truthful he is about carrying this out but...well let's just say Leonardo moved to the furthest of the islands after he cut ties with Agapito. He said it wasn't because of the witch...but you know what they say...

OR PLEASURE YOU SEEK?

The other side of the shiny bismuth coin that makes up Agapito is the fun-loving, life of the party, vain, playboy. Agapito is a FLIRT. He's never not got his eye on some man or trying to seduce someone. He knows there's talk of him being easy but given he's shown no outward signs of taking a relationship seriously or trying to make one last, it doesn't seem to phase him one bit. If anything he thrills in being rather open about his promiscuous nature and tendencies...toeing the line of decorum first of course.

He takes pride in his appearance as much as he does his craft. As such he works hard to maintain his good looks. The only time his hair should ever look out of place should be after a good romp and even then it should be "artful." Agapito is always willing to accept favours and gifts from potential suitors as long as things don't get too serious, how else could he afford to live such a lavish lifestyle even as an island-bound Bismuth?

Things

Magic/Abilities

Witchcraft: He is very talented with spellwork, particularly with curses and protection spells. Agapito is not very keen on love spells though. His spells are of his own making and all tailored to the situation at hand. To more practiced Bismuthblooded men, his craft can come across as chaotic and dangerous. But, to him it is a science and he claims he knows exactly what he is doing. He also possesses some manner of intuition and clairvoyance. He knows what your father's father's father did. So, take care how you treat him before he shares how honourable a man your great-grandfather really was in return.

Relationships

Calogero and Marcello: Agapito's two fathers who are deeply in love with each other. The pair forged him together and consider him to be their greatest art. Both are Bismuthblooded as well and own a herbalist shop. They have long since given up on trying to control their wildchild son, but do adore him and only want the best for him. In turn Agapito has deep affection and admiration for the pair. He's not always the best son but he does his best to be there when it matters most. He still shares a big family dinner with them every week come hell or high water.

History

Agapito is a product of his fathers' deep love for each other and their craft. He was created with their combined efforts and bears both of their names proudly as a result. The Ashman grew up in a happy home full of love and things to learn. From a young age he showed an affinity and talent for the craft that is now his own business as he learned at his fathers' sides about herbs and their different uses and purposes for both healing and harming.

Today he owns his own shop, run out of his home not far from where his fathers live. He does well for himself and at times tends to toe the line of what is appropriate and what isn't for someone of his caste level. So far he hasn't completely crossed it but even his fathers have a lowkey concern of the day when he does.
