We should totally discusse our thread of Searching for a Secret. I never knew it would become so popular, or for at least me it's popular.. because thats the first time I've ever had four people in a thread. We should go over the order in which we should post and any new ideas you guys have. And who should do what and play what? Okay? :lol:

And actually, I was wondering if it wouldn't be too improbable for the group to end up splitting up here eventually. It might be better for plot and character development for Kimiko to end up with Lazuli *nudgenudge, lol* and for Satu and Lomion to end up alone again, that way when I introduce Lomion's friend, there isn't already a boat load of charries running around, heheeh.

With that aside, I'm evil. I want to eventually have Lazuli fall in love with Kimiko, but at the moment he's crushing on Satu.
Also his real self is coming in and out of phase. Right now something tells him to FLEE because the real self knows he is the killer of Kimiko's parents. And the real self knows he is powerless at the moment. *wuss*
Yeah, I decided to do that, even though there is reasonings why behind it. Haven't thought of anything yet, Cat any ideas?

I think it would be really cool for Kimiko and Lazuili to fall in love because it could cause all lots of chaose. Because Kimiko is that kind of person who doesn't like to open up for anyone, but thils will change everything.

*SCREAMS* Ok, was mixing my ramen and it came to me!
First we need to bond the characters already in action in some way as Lazuli is involved with Kimiko on some level. They both have their trauma to deal with, but hopefully we can involve them together to solve "the big mystery" that bugs everyone and involves everyone. That means maybe something or someone drew everyone in this one place on this night for a reason. They find out something and are willing to fight together to overcome said problem.
We can still have our side stories and all, and for some reason I'm kind of confused of Sat and Lokun's motives and who the new guy is...I forgot how they got there. Maybe everyone can take a moment and explain their situations (mini synopsis) because I remember reading through all the threads but I don't recall everything. What their character/s is trying to solve.
So here we have Kimiko's parents were murdered, right? She saw it happen. And then there is this big secret right? Tell me again does she know a secret or is she searching for it? Lord can't remember lol.
Ok so this is what I got so far. Lazuli was a knight who was working for this bad dude who was trying to kill off all the powerful people by use of maybe an oracle or something/someone who can see power in anyone. Bad guy imprisoned special being and used himher. So he/her had this list and was taking out these people. Lazuli was this dark knight who did the slayings. Actually thinking maybe the bad guy created Lazuli by mixing fae blood with human, etc. Anyway Lazuli never questioned it, he just did his job without questioning his Master if they were legit or not. After all he was created to DESTROY things! *evil cackle* All he knew was these people were traitors to the kingdom, or they had some kind of plague and would turn into zombies or something. His Master/Father always had some excuse when Lazuli would ask.
So now we have the reason why Lazuli killed them. He just was doing his job, but when he stepped out of Kimiko’s home, let’s say the village came and gathered around him with weapons and pitch forks because they saw him entering the village and they are tired of all these slayings of innocent people. He is feared, but they decided to get rid of him because it pissed them off and all. Lazuli was outnumbered, hit over the head and strung up crucifixion style, but to save himself he called his power. Remember the blue Faerie’s kiss thing? Well I was going to have that power actually be a destructive power, that’s why when he used it to heal Kimiko it felt wrong, out of place and strange to him because he had only ever used it for mass slayings of folks when he needed to. So he’s hanging on this ramp thingy his wrists tied on both sides of his body, then this blue light comes, big explosion, he gets thrown miles away and loses his memory completely! Village just gets...destroyed...or maybe not because Kimiko is still there.
Now all I need it how many years since her parents died to get the time line right and if it has been a while he could just have fallen asleep in a cave or something and then awoke suddenly, a strange powerful being telling him he is needed to protect someoneâ€"that someone being Kimiko!
So now what if that night Lazuli killed her parents, the bad guy really wanted to just kill Kimiko even if he said get the whole family, because it was Kimiko who posesses this big threat to the bad guy.
And after Lazuli died (or so bad guy thinks) he sends his minions (invisible scary dudes) after Kimiko.
NOW, made me think maybe we need some kind of leader who brought these folks together to stop this bad guy who’s still out there? Brought all our characters together. Maybe an oracle who knows their powers and will help them train or someone else. I can see them going into the mountain to train kung-fu style while getting to know one another, lol. Meaning Lokun, Satu and family have a part to play in this, in like their powers being strong enough to defeat major bad guy.
Woo, ok my brain is fried after coming up with that, lol.
Again if anyone has any storylines they want to include speak up and we can include it in the big one. Or if anyone has anything to add to it. Do you like it? Maybe I can come up with a few more ideas, but that's all I got right now.
If so that means we would need to come up with a serious villain who’s plotting somethingâ€"well to wipe out anyone more powerful than he is, so they don’t get in the way etc. Need a reason why.
And we need a series “mentorâ€? type to lead this group. Could be even a character already created one of you play. A Gandolf if you will. Actually we might not need it, but it just sounds kind of…cool. I think an old woman who is kickassâ€"a faerie old woman who can kick everyone’s butt sounds interesting, lol.
Btw, think I thought of a bad guy. What about a white faerie sorcerer, skin white as snow, long white hair, light blue eyes, white wings, only wears the color white, lips are frosted in white, face looks all glittery and frosted...someone who can't stand anyone or anything prettier or more powerful than him.
And he wears gloves and slippers because anything his feet or fingers touch turns to ice.
Maybe what if he feared fire or some other element, or wanted to turn the earth to all ice, but something prevents him from doing it.
Hmm, just had this image of this narcissitic (sp?) guy who carries a mirror and also dabbles in science and stuff. Why he could have created Lazuli and why Lazuli is good at creating things. sort of fits.
THINK...I think I'm going to draw up some stats for him, lol. I feel like bullying people.

She is searching for the secret, and onece she sees the secret for herself she becomes invinciable. That's why all these people are tying to keep her away from it. It still makes sense if her parents were going to show her the secret, and the bad guy tried to prevent this from happening. Maybe at the last moment it was revealed who this girl was, it was your character. Maybe her parents worked at the castle/palace or something and got involved. I dunno. Just tossing out thoughts. :D

Bad guy wants to take Kimiko's energy and use it to ice the planet, while at the same time he's trying to stop her from knowing the "secret".
Lazuli's Faerie's Kiss was put in him to fight Kimiko with as a safeguard in case she finds said secret. Thus perfect little conflict for the soon to be lovers...
Lazuli has a sword somewhere that kills people, but it also steals their energy and he's able to transfer said power/energy/chi to his Master. But it's lost at this moment.
Now so everyone involved gets some attention too, we need to mingle them into the plot somehow. Perhaps Lokun and Satu (need to look at the stat pages, need to read their history) were/will be sent to stop Lazuli...I dunno.
At some point Lazuli's personalities are going to be split by being good and then being bad self...hmm. He's going to be a danger to be around in some scenes, lol.

Ok, I got it. Renor Senger can be the link that fills in the gaps. Here's what my brain cranked out.
I'll make it as simple as possible, lol.
Renor Senger is 4,500 n something years old. Lol, he knows alot. But he isn't good or evil.
The only reason he's getting involved is to make the sides of the battle even so that it will be worth watching, lol.
I think the secret should be tied to two things.
First, some sort of alter/special area in the village Kimiko n her parents are from. Since Lazuli probably didn't destroy it completely (otherwise Kimiko would be dead), this special place can still be intact.
The second piece will be the weapons everyone has.
Satu - her kamas
Satu's bro - that swingy blade thing
Lokun and Jakki - have sister blades
Lazuli - his soul sucking blade
Renor will have done his homework to find out about all this. I think his first task will be to help Lazuli find his sword. That way, while they fight their way back to Kimiko's home town, he'll be unintentionally powering up the ice guy (therefore, Renor makes sure the ice guy will have enough power by the end of it all)
Renor will then help Jakki to reunite with Lokun. This is because she has his sword, and both swords are needed.
There can be some sort of ritual involved with the weapons and the special place. I think perhaps this is a piece of parchment Renor has had in his possession for awhile, with which he helps them to unlock the ritual and then help set Kimiko's power over flame free.
And yeah....what do you guys think? Lol, sort of random, but I thought it could work, since they really only seem to have the weapons in common.
As for the reason behind the weapons being important, I'm not sure.
I think perhaps Lokun and Jakki's could be because they were bathed in teh blood of a vampire who could control flame (an ability like NO vampires have, because fire is one of the few things that can kill them).
I'm not sure about the rest of the weapons and their link to fire.

But she doesn't know about it, for it has to wake up inside her, and the only way it can do that is if she sees the secret for hserself. So why will they be traveling to her home town? That wouldn't make sence because they have no reason to go there.

I'll make it as simple as possible, lol.
Renor Senger is 4,500 n something years old. Lol, he knows alot. But he isn't good or evil.
The only reason he's getting involved is to make the sides of the battle even so that it will be worth watching, lol.
I think the secret should be tied to two things.
First, some sort of alter/special area in the village Kimiko n her parents are from. Since Lazuli probably didn't destroy it completely (otherwise Kimiko would be dead), this special place can still be intact.
The second piece will be the weapons everyone has.
Satu - her kamas
Satu's bro - that swingy blade thing
Lokun and Jakki - have sister blades
Lazuli - his soul sucking blade
Renor will have done his homework to find out about all this. I think his first task will be to help Lazuli find his sword. That way, while they fight their way back to Kimiko's home town, he'll be unintentionally powering up the ice guy (therefore, Renor makes sure the ice guy will have enough power by the end of it all)
Renor will then help Jakki to reunite with Lokun. This is because she has his sword, and both swords are needed.
There can be some sort of ritual involved with the weapons and the special place. I think perhaps this is a piece of parchment Renor has had in his possession for awhile, with which he helps them to unlock the ritual and then help set Kimiko's power over flame free.
And yeah....what do you guys think? Lol, sort of random, but I thought it could work, since they really only seem to have the weapons in common.
As for the reason behind the weapons being important, I'm not sure.
I think perhaps Lokun and Jakki's could be because they were bathed in teh blood of a vampire who could control flame (an ability like NO vampires have, because fire is one of the few things that can kill them).
I'm not sure about the rest of the weapons and their link to fire.
Ideas?
*applauds* YES! YES! YES! I can see the "show down". Lazuli could have gained his memories by then and he defends his master/fights in ice man's place and all. If Lazuli is there at the end of all things, his sword after powering up his master can turn icy all of a sudden, and he is forced to fight Kimiko in the end...but that's probably a long time coming. Sounds like we are going to have a mighty fine adventure!

WELL, yeah when he remembers pieces he turns sort of evil/cocky...that side of him could remember where he stashed his sword and remember he has to kill Kimiko, so during one of those remembering phases, Lazuli gets his sword. Would be funny it is in her village.

Oh sorry...ps...when Lazuli remembers, its his almost "evil" side. The one who was the knight. He isn't going to care who he killed in his past so having his sword with him won't be a problem, he's going to go after Kimiko if he finds it. It's like a split personality.

A good night sleeped was exactly what I needed! I'm all refreshed! Yes.. poor poor Kimiko! This is going to be a lot on her! LOL.. Okay I'm guseing I know but I still have one question.
Ice Man is the bad guy. We shoudl definietly give him a better name than that. And he's looking for power to ice the earth. And Kimiko has that power but in return the power is fire. So the Ice Man kinda wins kinda looses. Lazuli was sent off by Ice man(his creator) to kill Kimiko and her parents, killing the parents was just off main fear that hey might have another fire child. But once Lazuli killed the parents and couldn't find Kimiko he left the house when all the vilagers came up. He used the blue light but knocked out his memories.
So now. His memories are coming back very very slowly. I think they should fully come back when we reach Kimiko's home town, because he'l remember everything. SAtu and Lomion, they're there becuase some reason they just can't trust Lazuli and so they stay with Kimiko, or we could do the thing where the secret has a part for each of them. Kimiko, fire child, Satu, summer child, Lomion, spring child. Maybe when Satu and Lomion are together they can make the weather really warm, bad for ice man if he' slooking to freeze the earth. that's why they have a very good connection with each other. They just odn't know it. Lazuli, in the end will eventually end up fighting Kimiko. But there is a choice. She either has to Kill Lazuli or die herself. So I think she end up wounding Lazuli but not killing him. So she will stab herself, and so the Ice man things he has won! But with a good last blast she fryken melts him, making the bond between him and Lazuli gone. Maybe I'll make her die at the end. I"m still thinking about that.
So did I get it? I th ink I accidetally added my own two piece in there. The part with sprnig and summer child. But I think it's okay.. I mean I'm not really sure what Lazuli's plot is, or if that up there is it. Did I get it right?

Good. :D You actually got it. It also is going to come down to two choices for Lazuli. Fight for his master he will, but by then the old Lazuli will have fallen in love with Kimiko so he'll have to chose to fight or not to fight. A choice that could very well kill him.
I think I said this in a pm last night, but I was saying that the final piece of the secret would be missing when Kimiko fights in the end. Say it looks like she has the power of fire, but something is missing. That's Lazuli. Lazuli's ice sword will make up the last thing and he has to give it to Kimiko willingly. If he gives it to her and comes to the good side, it will vanish and become part of the whole big fire thingy in the end, if not then the last piece she won't have. Thus in a way it won't be a sword for killing anymore, but for healing. Woot, corny, lol. And it turning to ice in the end...guess Lazuli can be winter since he was created by Mr Winter himself. *laughs* Mr Winter...I'll think of something, look at my file of interesting names...

There porbably won't be a happily ever after, Lazuli will still have emotional trauma, can't forgive himself, and maybe goes off to find himself leaving her behind, hehe. Have him come back later...then I can think of some other conflict to keep them apart for a while. Wow ain't I a stinker? :twisted:
Oh, Lazuli has a sort of split personality. His remembering side does know about the sword, but when that dies off, he goes back to this boy who doesn't remember.

Lol, tis Renor. Basically, like I said, because Renor did his homework. Renor finds out alot of random stuff, because his one great passion is learning things.
Not to mention, since he's a vampire, getting into other people's minds isn't hard, so any missing bits he could easily pull from Lazuli's head without the poor guy ever knowing he did so.
But yeah, the sword thing...Like I had mentioned before, Renor wants to make sure that the ice guy is at nearly full strength so that the battle is nearly even. I thought the best way for this to happen was for Lazuli to get his sword before they got to the home town and did the whole ritual thing. That way, any people Lazuli ends up killing with the sword will have their energy transfered to the ice guy, probably before Lazuli even remembers that's what the sword is for.
I just think that'd work a bit better so that the ice guy doesn't get totally creamed, ya know? lol.
And as for all the things like fire child, summer child thing...um, I don't know. Cuz Jakki is still gonna be there, so maybe she could be like fall? But I wasn't thinking that the people themselves were important, just their weapons (though Renor more than likely won't tell them that until the very end, lol).
And I could see Satu wanting to tag along with Kimiko, and thus Lomion will, and thus Jakki will as well, lol. It's like a freaky train of loyalties...
So! Yeah, I think we pretty much got the skeleton of the plot down. *nods* I plan on introducing Jakki first, and Renor second. And Renor will come and go as he pleases, so don't be surprised when he randomly appears/dissapears in the thread, hehe. He's just sort of there to make sure they all get nudged in the right direction.

Ok so here is what you need to know. Everything is as it should be, Lazuli was in the service of the Ice Man. He sort of had no choice and was powerless against him. BUT there is a reason Lazuli was powerless over the bad guy, and had no choice to stick around.
Ok, so anyway...everyone forget the whole thing about Kimiko needing the sword and them needing his sword for the final piece of the secret. That should be all.

I had mentioned it when discribing the whole plotty-ness with Renor.
Basically, to keep everyone necessary for the plot, I figured that the key to unlocking the ritual at that secret spot in Kimiko's home town would be everyone's weapons.

So I just figured those could be necessary for the ritual to work to unlock Kimiko's cool fire power...
