Three men stepped out of the fog, and Leif let out and audible growl. These three men had been hired specifically from his parents to keep tabs on their son. Dubbed as 'body guards' by his parents, he saw them more as 'the three assholes' as his eyes narrowed upon the tallest, gruffest man of the bunch, named Chace. He had scraggly, thick black hair with some pieces of grey in the mix and a gristly beard. He was all muscle with scars crossed all over his face. A shorter, squatter man stood on his left, named Hartan, who was bald but dawned a thick, black beard and thick brows that always made him look as if he were angry. Then just to their side was a man barely over his own age with sandy-red hair and light grey eyes and always wearing a smile as he stood, the second tallest of the bunch with a thin, lithe body and a smile ever present in his stony eyes. His name was Alistok.
"I think you know why we're here," Chace said with a slight chuckle. "You know your parents wouldn't let you go two paces with out use around to sniff up your trail."
"And this time you left quite a trail to follow, Lord Arrant," Alistok chimed in. "Though how are we to bring you back today? Will it be with sword play again? I'm not sure your parents will be thrilled if we mar up that pretty little face of yours, but you know how my blade always itches for blood."
"You're wasting your time," Leif growled, and Alistok and Chace merely laughed.
"Seems we'll be using our swords," Alistok said, slowly drawing out his blade as the metal hissed against it's sheath, but before he could drw it fully out, Chace placed an arm upon his hand.
"Easy now, lad, let's see if we can't talk some sense into him. After all, it'll look better on us to report back that we tried to be civil," Chace reminded.
Alistok made a face, but let the sword fall back to his side, but his gloved hand never left the hilt.
"Very well," he said with a sniff, and sneered over at Leif. "Though we all know he won't go quietly."
And to their surprise...
he did.
He walked right away from them.. quietly.
"Hey, where do you think you're going!?" Alistok called out with a bark ad shake of his fist, but Leif didn't bother to respond. He just kept right on going. The younger man growled and rushed after him, and before Chace could warn him; it was too late. Leif was ready, and by time Alistok was at his side, his elbow came crushing into his gut, then a quick turn around had Leif kneeing Alistok heavily in his crotch.
One man down.
Two to go.
