Essryn has mention of caravans a lot - and I thought I read somewhere that it was a bit of a trade city, but now I can't find that again. xD If that IS the case though, how is it a major trade city (really, in the desert I can't think of anything else it would sustain itself on...) when it is located so far south of all the more developed civilizations and countries of the (from what I can tell) known land?
Also, is there anything specific that the various lands trade in? I'm planning on playing a trader, but I need to know what she would be traveling to different regions to trade for - what is in demand and in supply where, in order to churn up some plot explanations/ideas. <.<
