Without much warning, a wild Goro appeared.
Heavy footfalls crushed brush and bracken, and knuckles pushed the hulking greenish goatman along at a leisurely pace as he mumbled all the while, a sort of low-key 'ruh ruh ruh, ruh ruh ruh~' sort of noise, almost like a little tune that barely rose above a murmur in volume, rumbling from his massive chest as he carried himself along without a care.
Occasionally, he'd say something a little louder - 'Boosh!' he'd exclaim, and pet a bush. 'Treee!' he grunted, and he rubbed his shoulder against it happily, dislodging a few beetles from his hide, which seemed to be growing leaves on it, only to return to his muttering, good-natured amble. At one point, he crossed paths with a deer who paused momentarily and stared at the hulking thing. Goro, for his part, just stared back, knuckles resting and expression blank - his default 'waiting for next thought to turn up' expression.
Then he pointed. "Deer." and the deer trotted off, convinced the giant monster, well over twelve feet tall, was somehow not a threat. The pointed finger stayed up for a good minute after the deer had left, before slowly lowering down. The monster's big, simple face, a cross between a dog, a goat and a bull's, gradually creased into a toothy smile.
"followfollow, Goro goro, follow goro follow!" he rumbled happily and set off again, in the direction the deer had gone.
Eventually, he broke out of the foliage into a clearer area - where a naked, beautiful naga woman was bathing. He didn't notice her at first - he was too busy looking at the shiny water! He moved to the very edge, some ten or twenty feet upstream from the Naga princess, and bent low to examine the shiny moving liquid, fishes dancing inches from his face as they made their path downstream. And there he stayed, several flowering plants on his back taking advantage of the improved sunlight from the forest to bloom and grow skyward, leaves and petals reaching high in every color of the rainbow on the hulking thing's back.
Eventually, he pointed at the water, dipping his finger in and making fish dart away.
"Shy-nee! Goro!"
