"Damn these plants!" the towering humanoid screamed as he chopped down the trees and foliage in his path with his gigantic axe. Unfortunately, this caused vines thick and thin to wrap around him from above. He uttered a curse in his native tongue as he ripped the greenery off of him.

Nero was clearly annoyed, and with good reason. He had been trapped there for three days and the high humidity of the jungle for the first two days did not do any good for him. He hardly slept because his body was too hot, making him toss in his make-shift bed of leaves.

He needed to cool off before he started boiling in his armor. His wish was granted by the sound of water crashing from above. Following the sound, he bumped into a wall of trees. It was like the very jungle was barring him from the cooling waters he needed so badly.

"Trees will not stop me!" Nero furiously swung his axe in front of him, cutting down group after group of lumber, only pausing his tree slaughter to rip out the vines that landed on him. By this time, the denizens of the jungle were watching him recklessly destroy their homes, some had outright fled. Finally he came across the precious blue liquid, but it was about fifty feet below from where he was. The waterfall had sprouted from a tunnel on the face of a cliff. The only way to get to the water was to go down.

The giant didn't think twice about his decision. Locking his weapon to his chest, he made a short run and jumped off. He screamed on his way down, regretting his decision. His full 12-foot frame collided with the water and generated a big splash and wave. It was his axe that broke the water's surface first, followed by his upper body. "I am never doing that again!" he shouted with a trace of glee. He had to admit, his dive was fun, but he doubted that he'd ever do something like that again any time soon.

After a well-needed and refreshing swim, Nero went to the banks and removed his plate and helmet and sprawled on the grass. Hopefully this was enough to allow him to sleep in peace.
