Physical Description Amator, in his human form, has dark grey eyes, a sign of his age and wisdom. His hair is dark silver mop, coming down to his shoulders in messy tangle. To complement this, he has grown a long grey beard, under which lies a wrinkled chin and face. His clothes are not much different, save the decorative designs sewn into the robe. Both his robes and hood are a light silver color, with the designs now a faded gold.
His dragon form is that of an old western style dragon. His scales, once shiny and beautiful in his youth, have since faded to a dull bronze, his belly following suit, being once a shiny white, but now a faded grey. There is a long scar running down his scaled neck, a result of a fight he got into years with an Oirthir dragoness some couple thousand years ago. His wings also bear the results of time; the membrane is torn and worn in multiple place, and there's even a couple of holes that never healed.
Personality
Amator can be best described as a wise old man that should mind his own business! As wise as he is, he has a tendency to pry a little to much when something about a person catches his attention, and will try to learn as much as he can, except when it comes to dragons; when another dragon, be they peaceful or violent, he will not allow them to stay at his home, nor will he speak with them unless it is absolutely necessary.
Another thing about the old fellow is that, while he disdains violence and war, views it as a necessary evil. There are simply some things, he says, "that can't be solved with words, money, or women!" As such, he usually carries a short sword under his robe just in case he needs it. Also, having lived as a dragon among men for so many years, he feels much more at home among humans than with other dragons, feeling his true, dragon form is too dangerous to use.
Magic/Abilities
Transformation: pretty self explanatory. Amator can transform between his human and dragon forms. He also at one point picked up a gryphon form that he occasionally uses.
Fire breath: Unlike most dragons, an Iarthair Dragon's fire breath is not dependent on things such as food or magic. Nor is it a continuous stream of fire. Rather, an Iathair's fire breath is an extension of its soul, much like a swordsman's blade is an extension of his body. It is the dragon's essence focused into a ball of fire and brimstone, far more powerful than just a normal spout of flames.
