Hiatus (or so)

Hey guys,

I've been trying to figure out how to avoid this, but I think I'm going to have to take something of a hiatus. SotE just takes too much of the attention that should be going into my doctoral work. (And my funding ends this year, maybe, so I really need to stay focused and get something written!) And maybe a bit too much from the rest of my 'real' life, as well. So I think until I can figure out how to strike a better balance there, I think I'm going to have to bow out for awhile.

I know I'm somewhat neck-deep in some bigger plotting things, but I think I can probably pass that on to the other people who've expressed interest in the plots. I'll be around a bit over the next few days to try to figure out how to handle that.

Otherwise you guys have been super. Hope to write with you some more some time in the future!

The Never King- a king erased from history because of his dabblings in dark magic (among other things...) suddenly because a present day problem when an unlikely group of adventurers 'awakens' him from the grave. I ran the Connlaothian civil war. For more info, check out it's page here. The war has now turned into a 'Cold War' with it's plotting page found here. It's no longer a huge site wide event but the scars are there.

Maybe. :) Maybe not! Don't hold your breath, though; I won't finish my PhD until December at the earliest, and I'm hoping to get my funding extended to next summer and finish summer 2015. (Fingers crossed!)

Anyway, thanks everyone for understanding, and sorry again for the abruptness of this. Hope to be back and writing again somewhere down the line.

Oh no, I never posted on here! I remember seeing it when I was on my phone, but I wanted to write a good post and not something quick and full of mistakes. But now I don't even know what to write. D:

Alright, so I did a very bad job of going on hiatus, I suppose! (This site, it just sucks away all my brain!) So I'm going to start being a bit stricter with myself and won't be around for real for awhile. I guess I should write papers about rocks and rivers and all that or something, and maybe even learn some German while I'm at it. All the best to all of you!
