Need an apprentice, sidekick?

I'm looking to get started on my first SotE character, Ewan Rhys, a mage whose regressed to childhood following an accident. He's currently wandering the countryside looking for food, shelter, and a means to restore his power. He could serve as someone's apprentice, or even get roped into being a mundane stablehand or pack-boy to his displeasure.

'little torn on whether or not I should rewrite him as being a bit older ('might be hard to justify him going on dangerous adventures at his apparent age), but we'll see. If anyone has any ideas or a place for him I'd be grateful!

I have some idea for Ewan if you're interested.

I have my character Angel, who I keep wanting to do a run away from home plot with her but all of her threads always die before they get anywhere >_>
I can see her not wanting to put up with the kid but being too nice to just 'leave' him somewhere and constantly reminding him she's older when- little does he know he is TECHNICALLY older than she! (and I'm debating revising her profile to give her some magic, but not sure :T )

I also have my Serenian Merchant, Dylanna Swinden who would definitely take a young child under her wing if they needed it, though she has no magic of her own, she could help him get somewhere to offer him direction!

Or if you're up for some quirky adventures to help an antiquities thief, I do have my character Aurora Jane who might fit the bill. Would be interesting to see her interact with a kid and possibly manipulate him into helping her get an antique relic or some such that's hard for her to access, but perhaps not for him?

The Never King- a king erased from history because of his dabblings in dark magic (among other things...) suddenly because a present day problem when an unlikely group of adventurers 'awakens' him from the grave. I ran the Connlaothian civil war. For more info, check out it's page here. The war has now turned into a 'Cold War' with it's plotting page found here. It's no longer a huge site wide event but the scars are there.

Either of my 'cursed immortal' characters might be fun to toss at him as well.

Lady Averella or her brother, Lord Amalin. They're good examples of 'Be careful what you wish for'.

Might also be fun to toss Zarrah at him, just because but NO idea how that would even work so...
