Usagi ducked slightly on the branch. Showing some ancient ruins she was send to investigate. There were rumours of having undead spilling out. So it was nothing but pest control, her thoughts bitter. But an order was an order. She circled the kama in her hand and dropped from the tree with a barely audible thud. She had waited for the cover of night to move.

If these were necromancers at work, the nocturnal cloak would only be beneficial for her. Necromancers tended to become quite agressive when they were discovered. She pulled on the demonic mask infront her face and dissappeared into the ruins, her kama brandished.

Eyiahad looked at the old amulet in his hand with inquisitive eyes, poring over the faded etchings in its surface with an intense curiosity. He could feel a magical energy radiating off of the golden trinket, but what it did was a mystery to the fox. His thoughts would have to wait. A long sigh left the fox's lips as the sounds of shambling footsteps on old cobblestone got closer. Pocketing the amulet in a pouch on his belt, the vulpine adventurer stood and twitched his tail in bemusedly as he faced his guest.

The lone zombie held an uneven staggering gait as it made its way toward Eyiahad. Dressed in dilapidated, crumbling armor of yore, armed with a rusty sword, it would have made most people run for their lives. As it shambled closer, however, Eyiahad picked up his war hammer and looked down at it, then at the corpse walking toward him. The poor sack of rotting meat barely got one hoarse groan out before his head was shattered by a powerful strike from a proper wielded block of steel.

"Gods, you meat sacks need to try harder. At least bring a couple friends next time," he mused with a chuckle. The sound of more footsteps coming down the hall, however, quickly wiped any smile he was forming off his furred face. I guess you did bring some friends... he thought as he readied his war hammer for round two.

A voice? Another person? She spotted a male, a tailed one at that. Triumphant over a rotting corpse. Footsteps down the hall. She had no idea who this man was or what he was doing here. She jumped up again, moving along the horizontal wooden beams that made supports for the walls without a sound, to land behind the man with a silent thud, she brought her kama up, the sharp steel touching his throat.

"Who are you?" She asked, standing back to back with the stranger.
