@Gawfy

The forest was silent.

There was nothing to be heard as she crept through the trees, mottled brown, green and grey cloak helping her move past the foliage unseen. Even the flora was muted in this place, the threat of the darkness, the demon, lurking over the forest like a dark cloud. She slid to a stop next to the trunk of a broad pine, taking a deep breath as a violent shudder shook the ground beneath her feet. The demon was close.

Letting out the air she had held in a slow, calming breath, she reached behind her to unsling the bow from her back, fingers sliding down the string and over the notched ends before she nodded slightly to herself, crouching low to the ground and continuing her path towards certain doom.

Echoing now through the forest was A heavy clang of Sobbing metal. Gawfy walked in the footsteps of the Beast he was following. He gritted his teeth At the thought of it Slipping away days before, but that did not  matter now. He did not Tarry in his chase and could Feel The beast near for he could hear no Rabbits, no dear, not even the Owlbears Dared to show their faces with the monstrosity Around And they were right to. He gripped his sword on his back as the Rumbling of the creature's Footsteps Drew him ever closer.

Velvet froze where she stood, blending in with the large bush behind her, as a loud stomping sound reached her ears. It sounded like footsteps, not of a demon, but a human. Frowning to herself as she wondered who would be foolish enough to come to this part of the forest despite the warnings that had been issued after the demon's first sighting, she drew an arrow from the quiver strapped to her waist, nocking it to the string but leaving it undrawn as she proceeded cautiously towards the area the footsteps were coming from.

Gawfy started to speed up his pace to a slow jog as he followed the Tracks in the mud. He then drew his sword off of his back and hefted it to his Shoulder where it stayed as he jogged. He then stopped jogging as he heard a faint crackling of twigs and leaves very close to him. He stayed unmoving to listen closer to find out the direction it came from.
