A humanoid figure meanders through the brush, past trees and over logs, hopelessly lost, leaving behind terribly deep footsteps in it's wake, nearly two inches into the solid ground. The being's insanely long, void-black hair flutters behind it as it saunters along, stretching a staggering five feet, reaching down to its calves. Piercing gold draconic eyes scan the area around, searching for something in particular, maybe a sign, or a path of some sort.
At this point, Sheol'Var had been wandering this damn forest for an entire day, and he was utterly sick of the monotonous sight of green. That careless Regent of his lost him, and she'd put him in his human form to boot, so not only was he stuck in the middle of a lush forest with no idea how to get back to Ketra, he couldn't fly up to survey his surroundings. Hell, he couldn't even climb a damn tree without it breaking under his massive weight. Being a ten ton dragon condensed into a five foot, ten inch body is not practical.
He sighs as he continues onward toward what looks to be a small clearing. Maybe he'd be lucky this time, and this clearing would be the end of the shrubbery damnation he'd trudged through for the last twenty four hours. Knowing his fortunes, though? Not likely.

The sounds of the rustling forest soothed the beast, pure blue orbs glowing faintly as she surveyed the land around her. The purity of raw nature gave the being hope, eyes closing briefly as the suns rays shone down on silvery white armor. Instead of reflecting off them, however, the plates and scales seemed to absorb it, gently radiating it back out through the rest of her body.

Awen opened her eyes upon hearing a more annoyed rustling of the brush just to her left. Turning her head, the great dragon watched, awaiting the being to exit and reveal itself to her. She already suspected that it was no animal, simply by the slightly more erratic movements it was apparently making. A lost traveler, perhaps?

The light dragon stood, revealing the flattened grass beneath her. While she was not a bulky beast, she was still a massive dragon, towering forty feet above the ground and keeping a sea of blue firmly upon the earth.

What soul would be visiting her today, she wondered.

Sheol'Var pushed his way past a bush, branches snapping against the sheer force of his advance. He stepped into the clearing, immediately freezing at the sight of the enormous dragon before him. Normally, in this situation, his first instinct would have been to ready himself for battle, and he certainly would have, were this dragon not to emit an aura of tranquility and peace. The light seemed to float around the massive creature's scales, majestically bathing the space around her in a magical glow.
The sun's rays shine onto Sheol, illuminating his figure as he stands stock still: he is a muscular humanoid, seemingly chiseled from stone, clothed in naught but cracked, leathery black pants. The light plays through the two long, flowing crystalline horns on his head, creating a rainbow on the ground behind him. His fingers and toes also bear crystalline claws and talons, pointing further to his draconian nature. His dark bushy mane, however, seems to absorb the light that touches it, leaving it utterly devoid of color, the darkest black imaginable. Staring at it for any extended period of time, one's eyes would dilate and maybe even cause dizziness. His draconic eyes are a bright golden hue, but within the irises, multitudes of dark particles swirl in an endless dance around his pupils.

The silence was not something that phased her. In truth, even if he had chosen to speak, she likely would not respond. Not much was worth a reply, after all.

Whoever this was, they were either a dragon in human form, or a hybrid of sorts. Her bet was on the former, judging by the way he moved. It didn't matter either way; this being was no threat to her. He neither readied for attack nor did he carry any sort of weaponry. Her original assumption flitted back to her-- he was lost. Perhaps she should point the poor young thing in the right direction.

She played with the thought, but ultimately decided not to engage him unless he was that desperate for aid. Many other dragons were prideful, and offering help may lead to a bothersome argument. No matter; if he wanted something, he'd ask.

Awen turned away from him to continue observing the forest. It was more quiet than it had been before. Perhaps due to his presence? Or perhaps he had been making all the noise in the first place. What a dilemma.

After a few tense moments, Sheol eased into his normal posture. The large dragon obviously meant him no harm, a fact that comforted him to no end. In his human form, not only was he insanely heavy, but he was obnoxiously slow. Even possessing the enhanced strength of a dragon, moving that kind of weight the muscle density of his human form was nothing short of a miracle in itself. Forget a fully developed dragon, he couldn't outrun a human fledgling.
The momentary silence was broken by the sound of a deep rumbling in Sheol's stomach. He held it silent, but it's already said its piece. His brow furrows at the uncooperative body of his, cursing silently. He was stronger than this, he didn't need to eat every day, he was the Dragon of the Regent of Adela. His stomach responded with a prompt rebuttal, sounding off another grumble, louder this time. FINE, fine. Blasted appetite. He swore his hunger became more ravenous every passing day, it was quite bothersome. Perhaps he should look into the strange phenomena back in Ketra...
Sheol scanned the area for food, seeing nothing pleasing to the eye. He could always eat the earth below him, but.... ugh. Even as a former earth dragon, he didn't even remotely enjoy the taste of dirt.
