@SilverDragonsBlood The first step in growing a legend was to unveil it firsthand to the people. Introducing
Rex Havelock, not storied in any sense - though no less
deserving! It was with a flourish that he drained his tankard, feeling refreshed and ready to plan his
debut. Being outstanding was its own reward, but in his generosity he was willing to share his brilliance with the whole world. So kind. Throwing the barmaid a wink, and less significantly some coin, he departed with a swish of his
excellent coat. He had no direction in mind, for he knew that wherever his feet took him was the
right way.
There was a resounding
screech and
clamour and Rex was drawn towards it, shuddering at the sinking feeling it was
someone's idea of music. The
poor, innocent peasants ate it right up. Because he was
great, he was willing to educate them all, and maybe whoever was behind that
crude noise would even learn a thing or two! Winners all round! He wove his way through the townsfolk and squinted down at the girl, the source of this cacophony, plucking away with her
inelegant contraption. This was no challenge of course, he was good enough that he could work with anything, after all.
With a grimace he got closer, sat nearby and unslung a true
beauty of an instrument, his beloved lute
Letrice. In but a moment his frown quickly turned into a cheeky grin. He timed to coincide with the beat, and finally regaled the onlookers with a real
hit that was
guaranteed to blow them away.
