Jaks, being a young soldier, had is light brown hair pulled back into a short pony tail, a braided strand hanging out by his face with a few beads on it. Jaks was a boring old human, with a few pretty coloured tattoos to add to his pale skin, bright red stripes under his green eyes. Doing his lowly soldier duty of patrolling the city with his weapon of choice, a rather long painful looking spear of some sort, in uniform, so Jaks kinda clanked while he walked. A boy to smile a crooked smile and be ready to prance away before he got slapped after groping someone, he was oddly curious as well. Tilting his head to one side, he listened to an odd squeaky noise coming from…Well… Somewhere.
He could only tilt his head and blink, wondering what the hell it was she was saying…Singing, whatever. It wasn’t a language he ever heard before, and he could swear her heard some horrible version of ‘Melody’ and ‘Fantasia’ or something. Hmm, Jaks paused and wandered over to her, clipping his spear onto its place on his back, so the ribbon wrapped around the pointy end dragged on the ground a little bit. Oh! That languages, he knew a tiny bit of it himself, having found a book of his fathers when he was little. Ah, to have a history teacher of some sort for a father, it came in handy when you ran into odd little girls screeching about stars or something like that. Jaks smiled and bent down a little, “Ohayou, nihongo o hanashimasu ka? that was basically all he knew, that and hello and how to ask various little questions. Didn’t have a clue as to what she was singing about though.
What was your song about? Jaks answered good naturally, careful not to bend over enough that his spear slam into the ground and throw him off balance. That’d suck, fall over in front of a screeching cat girl. He might get yelled at.
