(OOC Sorry for the late reply. Blame mdu and her web comics of doom)

If the entire event with the ring was odd, then the this was down right crazy. Dalisme seemed to have abondoned all weapons and spells and was just walking towards Gale in a carefree sort of way. It didn't even seem to Gale like she was preparing any sort of magic.

"Well if you are going to do this then you're just asking for it."

Surprisingly the ring was still glowing as fiercely as when it had first absorbed the spell. This puzzled Gale because when he had sometimes seen Horst, his master, use such rings then the glow almost immeditly died out.

"Maybe i'm surposed to do something with the stored magic." Thought Gale.

Consentrating on the ring, Gale focused on the magic inside it and unleased it in the direction of Dalisme. The result was her being surrounded by the very fire that she had cast at Gale. The ring had managed to almost perfectly reverse her spell.
As an after thought, Gale removed all the rings and trinkets that he had on him and placed them in his bag.

"I surpose you are right. If you can stop your own magic, then we will have a fair fight."

"Oh shit," Dalisme thought when she saw her own spell coming back towards her, not in a ring of fire but in a big long stream heading straight for her.

Still, she had been the one who had cast it so she could quite easily make it disappear again. She simply visualised it disappearing in a puff of smoke and it did.

This happened just in time for her to hear Gale say there would have a fair fight. Good, because in a fair fight she knew she could beat him. She had used a fair bit of energy but still from what she had seen she was definitely more powerful than him. As long as she could finish it quickly she should be okay.

"And now, since it is a fair fight i will use my speciality. Now you see me-"

With a rapid hand gesture and a brief moment of intense concentration, Gale began to rapidly form a illusion of him splitting into many copies of himself. Within moments, there was a small army of Gale clones.

"Now you see more of me."

This was great. He could make to illusions seem to do all sorts of complicated stuff but would only realise that it wasn't real when it hit her. Then she'd let down her guard and it would be easy from then on.

(OOC Really sorry about the wait. unexpected fortnight trip to France and there was no internet. I wait for you to stab me with pointy things and verbally smite me.)

Dalisme glanced around at the Gale copies and whistled. That was quite a specialised technique, one she had no patience for. But if he thought she was going to be fooled he was mistaken. She knew they were fake, they couldn't touch her at all.

"Impressive, but those things are fake. They can't harm me; they're just a distraction device. If you know they're fake then they aren't very effective," Dalisme laughed, "Feel free to try though."

She made a circular gesture with her hands and waited for him to attack. It was a simple spell that meant whenever one of those clones or Gale himself got too close vines would spring up from the ground and restrain them. In the case of the copies though, they'd disappear.

"Don't mind if I do. My next attack might shock you a little bit."

Gale and all of his clone simultaneously threw an arm up to the sky. Hundreds of bolts of lightning crashed down in front of each clone, gathering in a large ball of electricity. The all fired bolts of lightning in Dalisme. It was really spectacular to watch and would usually be way out of Gale's magic strength. But secretly all of it was just an illusion. In fact, the only real bit of lightning was a small bolt that Gale had summoned himself and was hardly very powerful. But Dalisme would probably expect Gale to only use illusion magic and might not try to block it. An attack is usually more devastating if an opponent isn't excepting it. All the rest of the illusion was just for show to hopefully intimate her. She might even fool herself into believing he had really cloned himself if she got hurt by the lightning.

Dalisme knew all the clones were an illusion but that didn't mean that the magic currently head for her was completely fake. For all she knew Gale could have split his magic so it looked like they were casting spells. It was very likely that at least one of the spells was real.

The spell she had cast previously could still stop this however. Vines sprang from the ground when they sense movement, blocking the single lightning spells that had been heading towards her.

She was starting to get bored now, yet he seemed very resilient. In a straight fight she should be able to beat him but he just wouldn't give up. So, since her injuries were starting to bother her and in order to beat him and not have him coming back for more would probably end up with him being dead. She did the only thing she could do.

"Let's call it a draw," Dalisme called to Gale, "This is going to go on forever and the only way you're going to give up is if I kill you, right? Let's just leave it at this. Maybe meet up again when you're a bit stronger and less killable."
