Suna / Beacon of Hope [Rhi bby!]
May 16, 2012, 12:11:05 AM
He wondered if this was ever going to get any easier. Sitting here, watching an uncountable river of people passing back and forth in front of the open flaps of his little tent, always wondering when somebody would stoop to enter and cause a new flood of panic to well up in his silent chest. Any one of them could potentially find out, any one of them could discover his dark, disturbing secret.
And yet here he was anyway, suffering in silence, through another day of work.

Ha, work...it was really just a ruse to appear like a functioning member of society, rather than be labeled an Untouchable - which he undoubtedly was. He glanced down a the small box at his feet, knowing it was full of coin he would be hard pressed to spend. It was amazing how much money one could accumulate when one had no need for basics like food and water. He hardly even had to bath, his body no longer produced sweat or oil - he was in a constant state of unchanging un-life.

He shifted on his small cloth seat, not because it was uncomfortable (he no longer felt such sensations), but rather out of some habit ingrained in his muscle memory. He wanted to sigh as well, but as he no longer had any need for breathing, he found himself forgetting to do so more and more often. He was perpetually stuck in a lump of flesh that no longer had any moving parts...no heart beat, no breathing, no pulsing of blood.
It was eerily calm, and it terrified him.

It was at moments like these that he actually wished for the terror of a customer, if only to force him out of his own dark, spiraling thoughts.

Physical Description
In his human form, Sahak is tall and athletic, though his muscles are of the more lithe, slender variety. Though his shoulders are fairly broad, he has a tapering waist, and overall gives an impression of sinewy strength. Though he has no idea how old he is, his basic appearance is somebody in their late 20s - early 30s. His skin is a dark, dusky brown color, with a pattern of wide lines that form runes across his body in a color a few shades paler than his skin tone. Occasionally these runes will flush with a glowing blue-purple, generally just flickering or rippling across one part of his body before disappearing again. His hair is rather short and messy, except for a long thick braid down his back - all of it is an ivory white color, which contrasts with his dark skin. Protruding from the top of his head are two large slate gray horns, which bow out a little near the base but then grow back toward each other (look up Nyala horns on google, similar horns but without the curling/twisting). Equally non-human are the shade of his eyes - they are a rather intense, rich orange, and tend to be the first feature of his face one notices as they 'pop' against the dark shade of his skin.
Interestingly enough, his ears are cropped at an angle (like a Doberman's), so the entire upper half is missing. His only scars are actually on his face - more specifically, his mouth. Just above his upper lip, and just below his lower, he has a line of puncture scars. Despite the unusual quality of these scars, his mouth itself would likely draw a lot more attention - his teeth are triangular and pointed, almost like shark teeth. On top of that, the inside of his mouth is black, though there is a purplish-blue glow from somewhere deep in his throat.
The appearance of his lips and mouth are not often seen, however, due to his unusual choice in 'clothes'. The only legitimate piece of clothing are his ragged, faded, old pale brown pants that reach to about mid-calf. Other than that, he is devoid of actual clothes, aside from the tattered white strips of cloth, much like what's used to bandage wounds. It's wrapped haphazardly around his feet and hands, as well as around the bottom half of his face, though the ends of all are left free and tend to flutter about wherever they please in the desert wind.

He has a non-human form but I am far too lazy to describe it right now. So I won't. And you just have to deal with it. Until laterz ~

Personality
Sahak really doesn't have the slightest idea how to act appropriately in society, and he really just doesn't give a rat's ass about learning either. He's arrogant, with a surprisingly large ego for a guy who wanders around in the desert for a living. Stubborn, strong willed, and abrasive, Sahak tends to bully conversations and completely take over their flow - and if he happens to be pitted against somebody just as forceful as himself, any attempts at conversation will likely degrade into a yelling match. And if he can't win that, there's a good chance he'll simply try to eat the other person instead (yes, eat them).
Despite his horrible people skills, Sahak is painfully lonely and cannot help but seek out companionship when it becomes too much to handle. Of course, the sentiment of being 'lonely' is a weak one in his opinion, and he takes great pains to make sure it's not obviously his driving force. Thus, he's just as overbearing as always when he does sniff out people to talk to - any interaction is better than none, and he doesn't seem to mind the fact his encounters are brief due to his poor company.
Sahak is rather fickle, and can change his mind at the drop of a hat at times. He's also pretty easily bored, and will either leave a boring situation or do something drastic to spice things up. The lives of mortals don't really seem to weigh heavily on his conscious either - these days, when he finds a lost traveler, he's equally likely to leave them, help them, or eat them. It all depends on his mood at the time.
And when it comes to people he actually likes, this particular desert guardian could be considered quite tsundere.

Magic/Abilities
Guardian Form - His biggest ability is to take on the huge beast form when it is necessary. Made from the very desert itself, the creature is a pure nature guardian tasked with keeping the dunes safe. It is nearly indestructible, with all but the finest enchanted weapons often glancing off it's hard carapace without even a scratch. The spirit of the creature resides within the runes inscribed on Sahak's body, and it is by the creature's power that Sahak no longer ages or has a mortal body. Should the Guardian be killed, it is almost certain that Sahak would shrivel up and die along with it.

Unaging - Sahak stopped aging long ago, when he first became burdened with the task of playing host to a Guardian. He no longer gets ill, nor does he suffer from the intense temperature fluctuations found naturally in the desert. Though he can be wounded in his 'normal' human form, he bleeds sand, and his wounds stitch themselves back together almost instantly - all by the power of the Guardian currently using his body.

Iron Stomach - Sahak can eat anything. Literally. Anything. (Interestingly enough, though, he does not actually NEED to eat or drink a thing to survive)

Relationships
Considering his ridiculous personality, he really doesn't have much in the way of relationships currently (and his penchant for eating people doesn't help). But please, by all means, come on by. Sahak always loves discovering new [strike:30tr138k]snacks[/strike:30tr138k] friends.

History
He's been a Guardian so long that he rarely ever thinks back on his life as an ordinary human. And really, he has little reason to - his life before this endless wandering was actually worse. Sahak was born into slavery, it was his reality from day one. All things considered, things weren't too bad until he hit puberty and grew something of a stubborn streak.
Stubborn slaves don't generally do well.
Regular beatings aside, he made a few really stupid decisions, one of which earning him his cropped ears. the biggest bad decision, however, was his choice to join in with a group of fellow slaves attempting a violent revolt.
It didn't end well.
As punishment, they all had their hands bound behind their backs, and their mouths sewn shut, before they were taken into the desert and abandoned. Sahak vaguely remembers a lot of walking in the scorching sands, and the miserable deaths of one after another of his fellow slaves. The details are rather hazy, but when he was the only one left, and near death himself, the Guardian made itself known.
He entered into something of a 'contract' with the spirit, lending his flesh to the bodiless Guardian in exchange for life free of the suffering caused in the desert.

Not the most exciting re-telling, but then, he really doesn't like to dwell on the specifics of it all too much. His human life no longer matters, so he feels it unnecessary to reminisce about a dark past.

Mass Effect ftw indeed XD //thumbs up

Oooo alrighty! I'm up for either, or both! Sakkata is an older charrie so she's pretty well developed, so if I had to choose I'd say Pyr just so I can get him a bit more fleshed out. But really, either are totes fine! Didja have any ideas?

Ketra / Re: An Interesting Encounter [Rhi!]
May 14, 2012, 01:05:39 AM
Yes. Directly into his soul. And should he even think the wrong thing, she was sure to swoop down upon him in a fiery crescendo of a mother's wrath. For now, though, she was simply standing there and watching with hawk like intensity - ordinarily she might have been far more willing to give him a good thrashing and send him off. These days though, she wanted most of all to be an appropriate role model for her daughter. And though her own aggressive way of life had worked fairly well for her, she was hesitant to raise a daughter to be similar in that regard.
Though it had kept her safe, her natural tendency toward violence and anger made many other things very difficult.
Like dealings with a certain perverted Gryphon...

The very thought made her visibly wince, and she finally looked away from Yarra and back to the potential customers milling about on the street. She tried not to look at anything or anyone in particular, lest the brooding storm in her darkening amber eyes became too obvious. Not that anyone could really know what she was thinking, but she already felt uncomfortable just letting the thoughts sneak up on her in the first place.

As if sensing her mother's attention had finally turned elsewhere, Raama's tiny feathered wings ruffled with the shiver of excitement that ran down her spine. She quickly hopped the few feet of distance between herself and the stranger, smiling, white teeth bright against her darker blue skin.
"Hi Yarra, I'm Raamalooke! Momma calls me Raama though, so you can too. Come here!"
Bouncing up, she grabbed hold of the highest part of him she could reach (unfortunately, the poor man's bangs) and proceeded to pull his head into a better position to reach it. Then, with a quick lick to her free thumb, she reached up and rubbed the dirt completely off of Yarra's forehead before releasing him.
"There! All gone!"
His molestation was rewarded with another glowing smile from the peppy child.

Hryupo (at least, that's what it sounds like)
Age
6 (in human terms, this places her as a young adult)
Gender
Female
Species
Cyuwirr (again, what it sounds like. A variation on the usual Mer-people)
Ethnicity
N/A
Height
4'10"
Occupation
Learner
Residence
Tuor Ocean

__________________IN-DEPTH STUFF

Physical Description
Like many of her kind, Hryupo is rather petite, and though she is almost entirely toned muscle there is a layer of fat under her skin that causes her to have all smooth lines and curves to reduce drag in the water. Her base color is white, though as one of the Learner caste she has very vibrant colors elsewhere - starting at her hips she has a shimmering gold that slowly becomes a pearly pink, which continues straight to her toes; an identical coat covers her arms, with the gold starting at her shoulders and the pink extending all the way to her fingers (as a side note, her nails are the gold color). Like all Cyuwirr, Hryupo has external gills - they are two fleshy bunches of tissue that extend from either side of her neck, and sort of resemble bunched and ruffled fabric in a deep rose pink hue. She can sweep them over her chest (hiding her small breasts), or back over her shoulders, depending on whichever is most convenient at the time. When on land, the gills naturally produce a membrane around themselves to keep from drying out. Her hair is a pale blue that slowly turns blue-green, and when wet appears fairly straight and almost reaches her shoulders - when it dries out, it becomes wild and wavy and thus a bit shorter. Her eyes are large and expressive, with an orange-pink color. Under each eye are three sweeping dots in the same shimmering gold color that can be found on her body.
Though her body appears very humanoid, there are a few adaptations for her aquatic life. She has webbing between her fingers and toes - between her toes are all webbing, though for her fingers it stops at her second knuckle to give her hands more dexterity. Her ears are very elongated but fairly flat, making them almost resemble fins, and they are dusted with pink coloring. The most obvious adaptation is her long dolphin-esque tail. It has an interesting bone and tendon structure - when fully extended the vertebrae separate by as much as two inches, with special tendons to keep everything strong and powerful. When in this format, her tail extends past her toes by about two and a half feet, making swimming far more smooth. Her tail can also contract - the vertebrae become compacted like her spine, and the nerve cord condenses, thus shrinking her tail up enough so it will not drag on the ground when she is walking.
Random side notes - She does not wear any clothes, and her skin is almost impossibly smooth, somewhat similar to a marine mammal's. She has no body hair, just the hair on her head.

Personality
Though all Cyuwirr are born white, their eventual coloring determines the caste they will live in - having such vibrant colors makes Hryupo a Learner, and as such she is extremely inquisitive. Though her race is naturally curious, her innate wonder and need to learn drives her into new places - including up onto land. She is all but fearless, often approaching new objects and people with nothing but pure curiosity rather than any natural wariness of the unknown. She has a perfect memory for important events, navigation, and learned skills. Though her people communicate with purrs, chirps, clicks, and whistles she is capable of learning other languages through observation if not direct teaching. A Cyuwirr's sense of touch is one of their most important senses when it comes to social interaction, so it's not unusual for her to constantly touch or brush up against others - it would not be polite, or would denote a sense of dislike or distrust, if she didn't.
Though she boldly goes where no Cyuwirr has gone before, her body is hyper alert to any potential threats - often she will spring away from danger like a cat before her conscious brain has even processed the situation. Also, thanks to her memory, she will often learn quickly what is dangerous and take care to avoid it in the future - this same logic is applied to people, so if you hurt or betray her once, you will always be something that is dangerous in her mind.
In human terms, Hryupo is probably best described as upbeat, friendly, and optimistic, the sort that is always looking for new things to try - though her personality seems a little underdeveloped thanks to her somewhat more primitive mindset and culture.
Side note - Cyuwirr have something of a hive mind, which grows stronger the closer together they are, and weaker the further apart they are. Learners are important to Cyuwirr culture as they bring in valuable new information to the pod when they return and share their knowledge with the others.

Magic/Abilities
Land and Sea - Hryupo is well adapted to living and moving both on land and in the sea, and she is quick and agile in both. She can stay out of the water for extended periods thanks to her unique physiology, although extremely dry and arid climates will naturally leech water out of her much faster, requiring her to drink much more than the average humanoid.

Siren Call - Hryupo's voice is quite unique. Though it has the normal range of vocalizations for a humanoid, as well as her own species, she has the ability to also emit sonic pulses. These range from a sonar-like usage to vibrations capable of shattering glass and eardrums - if highly focused in close range she can even rupture the cells in organs.

Hive Mind - When close to other Cyuwirr, Hryupo forms a telepathic connection with them. It is entirely automatic and outside of her ability to control, and is shared by all Cyuwirr. This is how she shares all the new information she has gathered with the rest of her pod. Often when very close together, a group of Cyuwirr will begin to move as one unit (like the schooling behavior of fish) and often mirror the reactions of the oldest Cyuwirr with the strongest personality present.

Relationships
Completely open! From fellow Cyuwirr, to other sea dwellers, and all those she might meet on her explorations!

History
Hryupo had a normal 'childhood' by her people's standards. She grew rapidly from infant to her sub-adult form, which is necessary for survival in a sea full of predators. Though her coloring started to show when she was four, it wasn't until recently that her full hues came in and identified her as the Learner caste. Rather strong willed, she often becomes the 'dominant mind' when in a hive of her peers or younger Cyuwirr, and it is likely that she will ascend into a Matron with adulthood. (Matron/Patron status is only given to those Cyuwirr who have the strength of personality necessary to control a group of at least ten individuals when the hive mind is fully synced, and generally the oldest Matron/Patron is the leader of the entire pod).

Character Plotters / Blue's Hordelings
July 25, 2012, 01:51:37 AM
~BLUE'S HORDE~

Here’s my character horde! They’re all open all the time, so feel free to hit me up here or through PM if you wanna harass rp with them! <3
PS: Please read their profiles before plotting lol
I am open to pretty much any kind of plot, from adventure and danger, romancey stuff to goofy humor. I love unique plots, so seriously, whatever the random idea, throw it at me and we can probably make it work! I do NOT pre-plan romances though, and while I love characters falling for each other and playing out romance, I like for it to happen naturally based on the chemistry of the characters. That is really my only real big restriction, everything else is generally a go! =P

Adela

~Yuudai Kita ~ Noble/Retired Knight ~ Male ~ 30 ~ Human
Personable and laid back, Yuudai has some serious big brother/dad vibes going despite having no siblings or children of his own. He's the sort of person that's just warm and welcoming almost all the time, and it's rather hard to find something about him to dislike. He can be stubborn and unmovable on certain topics, and downright cold and deadly if necessary. It's not necessary much anymore though, and his retirement is slowly driving him crazy. Plotting locations are generally within Adela, more specifically Ketra. All positions are open, including past rivals/comrades from his knighthood, fellow nobles, and the sparse servants at his home.

~Qadir Darzi ~ Noble/Retired Yeoman ~ Male ~ 27 ~ Human/Fae
Qadir is every bit the soldier he once was - including the foul mouth and lack of manners. He's not made any attempts to assimilate himself into the Noble scene, and he still takes great delight in making women blush and curl the hair of the more refined with his uncouth language and demeanor. He's brash and hot headed, and generally only listens to Yuudai (and even then it's touch and go). He too is going crazy in his retirement, although unlike Yuudai he's taken to hitting up the Randy Peach as one of his hobbies. Plotting locations will generally be within Adela, specifically Ketra, and all positions are open!

~Tommi ~ Thief ~ Female (barely) ~ 15 ~ Human
Tommi's street upbringing definitely shows. She is rude, crude, and socially unacceptable, with a dirty mouth and a complete lack of manners. She has pick-pocketing down to a fine art, and she's learning as much as she can from her fellow thieves - though she lacks any sort of education, she is clever and sharp in more 'necessary for survival' ways. An incredible tomboy, it's hard to tell she's a girl in most cases, and she's given many a boy a thrashing to prove she's just as tough as them (if not tougher). A spitfire of a girl who's only goal is to make it from day to day and put food in her belly. Plotting locations are pretty well open, as are all positions such as other thieves!

Connlaoth

~Lucine Avakian ~ Mordecai ~ Female ~ 16 ~ Human
Stern, severe, and headstrong, Lucine is not your average lady of nobility. She's trained herself harshly in order to be the best Mordecai there is - and she IS going to be the best! Mature and eloquent she may be, but she's still young, and can also have her bratty moments. Stubborn to a fault, she will not let anyone or anything dissuade her from her goals and morals. She will not even bow to the societal norms of Connlaoth - she wears a full dress no matter what. Possessed of a particularly strong will, she is definitely a handful. Main plotting locations are anywhere in Connlaoth, and all positions such as fellow Mordecai or the mages she hunts to random passers by are open!

~Sorin of the Morrigan ~ Witch/Mage ~ Male ~ 17 ~ Human (probably...?)
Quiet with a feral edge, Sorin spends most of his days in silence, despite the two little girls whom make up what's left of his family. He is trapped within the mountain funnel that is Connlaoth, and is in a constant struggle to keep himself and the girls hidden from Mordecai on top of basic survival. Luckily he seems quite at home in the wild, able to communicate with nature more easily than with humans. Though seemingly wild, Sorin is also surprisingly gentle and passive, much preferring to hide than fight, and helping any living thing he stumbles upon that is in need of aid. All the same, he's killed many in the name of his and the girls' survival - he will do what is necessary. Main plotting locations are within Connlaoth backcountry, and positions open are those he runs across - whether mage, Mordecai, basic civilian, etc.

Essyrn

~Sahak Zahi ~ Desert Guardian ~ Male ~ Unknown ~ Human/Guardian Host
Arrogant, egotistical, abrasive - Sahak doesn't really make for good company. Still, wandering the desert for ages does tend to get boring, so he's always looking for something to entertain him (or to snack on). He's also painfully lonely, but would be loathe to admit it - he'd never do or admit anything that shows 'weakness', he's a badass desert Guardian after all! (Let's not forget to mention his tsundere tendencies). His main plotting location is the Moraki Desert, and all positions are open!

Hyoite

La'Marri

~Sakkata~ Chosen/Blacksmith ~ Female ~ 80 (30 physical) ~ Drygan
Sakkata is generally a pretty aggressive woman, though having a child has helped to tone it down - thus, she's much more likely to have a conversation with you rather than deck you. (All bets are off if you even look at her daughter the wrong way though). Still, she's somewhat prickly, and lacks a lot of the basic social graces - her instinctual mind still tends to win out over rational 'human' thought. She's gained quite a bit of skill as a blacksmith, and fashions durable yet rather elegant armor and weapons with ease. Main plotting locations will be La'Marri where she lives, and the surrounding areas such as Ketra where she sells her wares. All positions save lover are open (sorry, Hatame's got that one).

Serendipity

~Rheinallt Di'Veera~ King of Serendipity ~ Male ~ 42 ~ Human
Thrust onto the thrown due to the ascension of his wife, Rheinallt has never fully adapted to being royalty - he's basically still his vivacious, boisterous self. Incapable of being stiff and formal, he's known for his jovial good humor and penchant for giving and accepting hugs regardless of who it may be. He causes headaches for his staff by refusing to wear proper attire, and they spend a great deal of their time trying to find him as he is always on the move and usually outside. Though not public knowledge, Rhein is aware of his queen's preference for women and thus has adjusted to view her like a sister or good friend rather than a wife to share his bed - and thus they are both aware of each other having lovers! Main plotting locations are of course anywhere within Serendipity, though he also frequents Adela to cause trouble with visit Akkiel. All positions (aside from wife of course lol) are open!

~Padca Heis ~ Scholar/Translator ~ Male ~ 23 ~ Human
He's a total homebody who prefers the company of the many books in Moonspear's library to that of people. He's polite but cold and aloof, and he abhors being touched. Though he gives off a very strong 'book worm' vibe, he is surprisingly capable of defending himself if necessary. He's extremely intelligent and has a great passion for puzzles and learning, which may be some of the few times to see him get animated when talking. Basically, it's fun to push his buttons and get him riled up. Plotting locations are generally in Serendipity, more specifically in Moonspear. All positions are open, such as his fellow scholars and visitors to the great library.

Ghost ~ Dowser/Adviser/Spy ~ Male ~ 22 ~ Haithian
Quiet and transient, Ghost has spent the greater portion of his life traveling and offering his services to others. Unable to handle light brighter than a single candle, he often must wear a blindfold or shut himself into a dark room, thus giving him an unusual and uninviting reputation despite the fact he is rather polite and well mannered. Secretive about himself, he seems to have no goal in life, no real reason for being - and in rare moments his gentle nature seems to be something he forces upon himself with all the willpower he can muster. Currently in Serendipity, so main plotting locations will be there, unless it's a thread from the past in which case he can be anywhere. All positions are open!

Thanatos

~Bai Xue ~ Ex-Maoin/Fortune Teller ~ Male ~ 23 (at time of death) ~ Zombie
To call Bai pessimistic might be appropriate, if it were not for his unwavering determination to find a way out of his situation as a 'living zombie'. Having 'woken' from death back in his corpse, he was understandably bewildered and scared, and thus fled from the Necromancer who raised him (probably to their surprise). He now works as a fortune teller to give himself something to do while he racks his brain for ideas on how to escape his fate, while constantly battling a sense of self loathing for his dead body and the homosexuality he feels is responsible for his curse. Main plotting location is Suna, and all positions are open, from customers to the necromancer that raised him.

Yoreiq

~Hryupo ~ Cyuwirr 'Learner' ~ Female ~ Young Adult ~ Mermaid/Cyuwirr
As a 'Learner' for her people, it is Hyrupo's job to explore and learn as much as she possibly can. She approaches all new situations and people with wide open curiosity, at least until they prove to be dangerous. With a nearly perfect memory and an ability to easily learn from observation, Hryupo is well suited to her task as Learner. As the Cyuwirr have human legs, she easily travels about on land, and finds no lack of interesting things to see while topside. Her plotting locations are pretty open due to her travels, though the Tuor Ocean is her home. All potential positions are open, she has a lot of exploring to do!

Zantaric

Wanderers

~Pyr ~ Traveler ~ Male ~ Unknown ~ Demon
Pyr is best described as a wandering derp. He's quiet, gentle, and very curious about life outside of hell - that being said, he attracts misfortune in the form of things constantly falling on/impaling/exploding near him. Luckily his body is nigh indestructible, and though he has inhuman reflexes and speed, he never seems to use them to get out of the way. All this being said, Pyr is actually Asmodeus, one of the Seven Princes of Hell - he is also the 'patron' of the one of the Seven Sins, his being Lust. Yes, really. His plotting locations are completely open due to his wandering lifestyle, and all positions are open!

~Eulalia ~ Trollface ~ Male ~ Three Centuries ~ Unicorn
After centuries, Eulalia has had to find new ways to entertain himself, and this usually involves pestering humanoids. He has a mischievous streak and a talent for twisting things into jokes regardless of subject, and he's not above using his magic on others to keep himself occupied. Often coming across as rather bored and unfettered, he has the 'calm and serene' part of being a unicorn down pat - even if he does often cause grief for others with his need for excitement now and again. Sometimes flippant and uncaring for others, he is still a creature of purity and healing (sometimes much to his chagrin). Plotting locations are open due to his penchant for wandering, and all who want to be trolled positions are open!

Ketra / Setting Your Sights a Little High [Rhi!]
May 09, 2012, 02:55:53 AM
What an outstanding construct. Standing in the midst of the rivers of people coming and going on the sunny cobblestone street, he was simply staring up at all the buildings as they wound their way toward the castle - there were so many that the castle was actually almost impossible to see. Truly, it was extraordinary...or, at least, to him it was. Nobody else seemed riveted to their spot, staring up at the surroundings extending around them.
At six seven, he was large enough to be something of a landscape feature himself - didn't help people were already having to walk around him, giving him curious or disdainful glances as they did so. Finally he turned his bright blue eye onto the peasants wandering about him, curiously watching their daily hustle and bustle. A woman was buying bread, two gentlemen had stopped to chat, a child was chasing a scrawny puppy through the legs of the adults - it was all incredibly fascinating to him.

After a moment he realized he was rather warm. It wasn't entirely surprising though, as he was dressed entirely in black. High boots with silver buttons, comfortably worn leather pants, and a long sleeved shirt with a high collar and crisp lines - it really only added to the overall sense of intimidation his tall, broad shouldered frame already exuded.

And he was oblivious to this.

Under the high afternoon sun, Pyr quietly turned and made his way toward the shadiest spot he could find...and the crowds parted before him, startled by him for any number of reasons. Moving closer to the buildings caused a whole other layer of curiosity as he gazed into windows and watched people hurry by him, and thus his original quest to find suitable shade was a very, very slow journey. Eventually though his wanderings led him into a side street, more of an alley really, though there were people still traveling through on their way to and from daily errands and social calls.
There was just so much to see, so much to experience, he felt like he could spend an eternity on this plane and never see all of it. Incredible, truly incredible.

As he slowly walked in the shadow of the buildings, he was no less oblivious to the amount of stares he himself was getting here than when he'd been out on the main road.

Physical Description
Originally prized for his beauty, grace, and coveted rare physical traits, Bai still retains much of his original appeal even after death. Though it has lost the richer, warm hues, his skin is a dusty caramel brown color all over. Perfectly straight with uniquely cut bangs, his hair is pure white and reaches to the small of his back when left down - currently he piles it into a bun under his hood/headwrap to keep it out of the way. His eyes, which suffered the worst degeneration during his brief time as a corpse, retain their lilac hue though his pupils are now opaque in color. His face has somewhat delicate features, which when paired with his almond shaped eyes, give him a lovely appearance rather than being particularly masculine. His facial piercings are a bridge piercing with a straight barbell, the double 'dimple' piercing in his cheeks, a small curved barbell septum piercing in his nose, and a labret with a curved barbell in the center of his lower lip. His ears are also pierced, twice in each earlobe, once in each tragus, and a double 'industrial' style in his left ear. Short, as is normal for Thanati men, Bai stayed on the slender side to better fit his small frame.
Though his body was revived quickly, and is thus in very good condition, he still bares the last marks of his death and a wound he received just days prior. A large cut bisects his lips on the right side, from just below his nostril to his chin - it had already started to heal before he died, but now it is stuck as a bloodless wound. The worst is the puncture wound to his chest, which pierced his heart and ended his life - the wound is fairly large, and though un-bleeding, it will never heal in his reanimated state.
Though once dressed in fine clothes and proud of his well maintained appearance, these days Bai is understandably reluctant to show much of anything. He covers from head to toe in robes, with a hood or headdress to cover his hair. Cloth is always pulled up over the bottom half of his face, and he generally wears gloves - only his eyes show, and even then he tends not to look people directly in the eye in case they notice the deadened gaze of his own.

Personality
Bai is experiencing something of a...pessimistic streak, as one might imagine. Waking up as a zombie does not generally do wonders for the personality of a person. Bai is fairly convinced this situation is a curse put on him by the goddess for his homosexuality - that or somebody ELSE cursed him for similar reasons. Self loathing aside, he's also quite disgusted by his reanimated body, with a deep fear of anyone finding out about his condition. Though generally wary of anyone finding out about his situation, and absolutely bewildered as to what he should do, Bai is sticking it out with a surprising amount of stubbornness. He cannot commit honorable suicide, as his body is already technically dead, and so his only real option is to continue 'living' and figure out this problem one way or another - with that thought in mind, he's developed a steely determination to somehow fix this.
He rather prefers to keep people at arms length, and although he offers his services as a fortune teller to many passers-by on the streets of Suna, he tries to speak as little as possible to them and does not seek out company. He understands very little about Necromancy, apart from it's basic definition, and now that he's trapped as a zombie he fears the Temple and it's Necromancers. Though there is a slight possibility they could help, the very fact of the matter is that zombies are slave labor, and the idea of becoming trapped in a corpse no longer under his control is absolutely horrifying. Even considering the possibility that somebody did in fact curse him to this fate, and thus tampered with his soul (a terrible offense), he honestly cannot remember much of what happened leading to his death - he wouldn't know whom to point the finger at even if the opportunity was presented.
Assuming he could get over his rather large issues with being a zombie, Bai is a rather mischievous person who enjoys hiding insults among lovely words and pulling pranks on those with whom he is close. Though stubborn, he was always kind of a coward...though these days the fact he can't really die or be injured has helped some of that fear - though a whole slew of new fears have moved in to replace it.

Magic/Abilities
Hard to kill - Basically, his body is already dead, and thus it does not react to damage as a living body would. Of course, obliterating his brain would probably render his body useless, though it's quite possible his soul might still be trapped in the corpse were this to happen.

Fortune Telling - Bai has always had a knack for this, though as a Maoin he only did it as a hobby for his 'brothers' and 'sisters' within the House. Now trying to lose himself in a city without appearing like an Untouchable, he's taken to telling fortunes for a small fee, though he has little need for the money currently.

No Freshness Date - Lol ok but seriously, as long as he continues eating raw meat, he can keep his body in the same condition it was raised in (which is very good condition all things considered). This also includes the mending of 'wounds' he receives, though it doesn't affect the old pre-death injuries obtained. This nifty add on to zombies, raised by a Necromancer of sufficient skill, keeps them useful for longer by helping reverse damage so they do not eventually fall apart.
As a side note, he craves meat (much to his horror) and often has to find small animals to devour in place of human flesh.

Relationships
He doesn't wish to contact anyone from his House, as explaining his situation would be far too mortifying to even consider. And as stated before, he's really not all that eager to talk to people very much in case they noticed his less-than-alive state.

Necromancer - the one who raised him is open. He sort of...high tailed it after waking up, kind of what happens when you panic and all. He's extra afraid of this person finding him, for too many reasons to name.

Customers - Come one, come all, and this dead guy will tell your fortune. Anyone willing to be persistent enough to strike up an actual relationship with Bai are totally welcome (after all, I DO want to rp him lol)

History
Bai had a fairly basic Maoin upbringing - he was sold to the House at a young age due to his rare hair and eye colors, and he fully considers it to be his home and family. Though he had a bit of a snarky and mischievous streak in him, he actually applied himself to his studies with diligence and mastered his skills rapidly (which gave him more time to dick around haha). Problems didn't really crop up until he was in his early teens and started to notice his...male oriented longings. In Thanati society, something like homosexuality was frowned upon at the least, and punishable by harsh beatings or even death at the worst depending on where one lived.
Unfortunately, Bai's House was located in an outlying city, just small enough to have a rather closed-minded populace - somewhat unlike the much larger city of Suna. Naturally he took great pains to conceal his sexuality for the sake of his and his House's honor...but something still went wrong.

Unfortunately, Bai cannot quite remember the events leading up to his death. He knows there was someone who tempted him, on purpose...and then exposed him. He also knows the cut on his face was done in an act of disgust, an attempt at disfiguring him done in the heat of a moment of hatred.
And he was stabbed in the heart, and died.
But the specifics and the faces of the people are all disjointed and disconnected, and so far he cannot piece them back together despite his best efforts.

Physical Description
Tall and broad shouldered, Pyr tends to command a certain sense of awe and fear when first walking into a room. He's pale skinned, with ink black hair that's roughly shoulder length - almost all of it is pulled back and tied at the nape of his neck, while a large chunk falls over the left side of his face, hiding his eye. The underside of these 'bangs' is bright blue, so it shows through here and there. His eyes are a similar shade of intense, rich blue, and the only truly unusual thing is that his pupils are actually a darker shade of blue rather than black. The only other remarkable thing, though usually covered, are the large scars that spider out across his back.
Overall, he looks remarkably human, at least until he feels it's necessary to unleash some demonic power on somebody or something. Generally this causes the whites of his eyes to turn black, his blue irises to glow, and for his pupils to become white - any other transformation has yet to happen, although his current body is very much a fabrication to fit in.

Personality
To put it simply, Pyr is deeply curious and intrigued by all manner of life on earth - although it's not easy to tell at first. His default expression is generally completely blank, as if he were not thinking or feeling anything - it's incredibly rare for him to show anything on his face. This isn't to say that he doesn't experience emotions, he's just terrible at expressing them...like, really terrible.
After one gets over his often intimidating, unreadable façade, it becomes very apparent that Pyr is incredibly gentle and passive. He takes great care not to hurt others, and expresses deep concern over them if they should get injured. He most often observes those around him, quite happy to just watch all the various creatures go about their daily life. Children in particular seem to be a favorite, from their tantrums to their playing, he never grows tired of watching them. He seems to find all personal interaction with others to be very precious, and he tries very hard to do it 'properly', although it still generally turns out somewhat awkward thanks to his complete inability to properly convey emotion and follow general social norms.

Basically, he spends most of his time in a general state of either confusion or curiosity.

Pyr has another interesting...trait. He has horrible luck. It follows him like a dark cloud, and likes to manifest in bodily harm. Generally, things are constantly falling on him, impaling him, exploding near him, and etc. Being nearly indestructible, however, Pyr seems to have gotten quite accustomed to this - his usual reaction is to just blink, and then continue on with his day.
As one might expect, this causes those around him a great deal of surprise - then again, if you hang around him long enough, you'll grow used to it quite quickly considering the frequency of these accidents.

On a final note, Pyr has a really, really, really, really, really, really bad temper. It's VERY hard to bring out of him, but once you have, you're probably going to die in the next three seconds. Protip - if he sweeps his bangs back against his head (exposing the blue), you probably have a minute to get the hell out of dodge because that is the only clear indication that you've managed to piss him off.

Magic/Abilities
Superhuman strength - he's a demon, it's pretty standard fare. He takes great pains to keep his strength in check though so that he does not accidentally hurt others or break things.

Superhuman speed - again, demon, he can move faster than the eye can follow...if he really needs to, which he generally doesn't.

Nigh indestructible body - he can be injured in a number of ways, but never mortally so it would seem. It's as if his body has a 'damage threshold' and once that level is reached, his body rejects further harm. An example would be an explosion - he'd likely become burned, suffer shrapnel, and potentially even lose a few smaller bits like fingers, but he would not be blown to pieces or die. He also begins to heal almost immediately, generally within ten seconds of the initial injury. His body will also reject all foreign objects, such as pellets or knives, and force them back out of the body as he heals.

Flames of hell - if he needs to use his powers, he generally just summons blue-black flames and turns everything around him into fine white ash. The flames are incredibly intense, far worse than any sort of flame one could find naturally or through magic on earth.

Reflexes of a dead cow - it may just be due to the fact his body is basically death-proof, but the man does not know how to duck or get out of the way, despite his speed and strength. Throw something at his face and he'll...take it to the face, blink, and then probably ask why you did that.

Relationships
He sometimes ends up with a traveling companion, should they not mind traveling with a demon (and yes, he's quite upfront about that fact). Unfortunately, if one travels with him for any length of time, his 'bad luck' seems to rub off on them. Slowly but surely they will begin to experience all manner of mishaps and misfortunes, and it only grows steadily worse the longer they stay with Pyr. Eventually, if they do not leave him themselves, Pyr himself will disappear, to spare them from reaching his level of 'bad luck' - as having a house collapse on you tends to be fatal to those with normal bodies.

History
Pyr is a demon from the recesses of hell, who has only recently come topside for reasons entirely his own. His true name is Asmodeus, and he is one of the 'seven princes' of the netherworld - the most powerful once-angels who now rule all other demons.
He refers to the other princes as his brothers, and seems to hold some amount of respect for them. Other than that, he just worries one or more might come looking for him, and that they will not be as 'subtle' as he was - they would likely kill and destroy just with their emergence from the ground, unaware or uncaring for the fragility of the earth and it's mortal creatures.
Still, he will maintain that he did not run and he is not hiding, so there's a good chance his brothers know where he went, if not why. Though he's very open about being a demon, it would be very difficult for anyone to learn who he really is, as he would rather his identity remain a secret. Demons might be able to understand on a basic level just how powerful he is, though even they would likely not know who he is exactly - they'd only be able to understand he is high in the hierarchy. His human form masks his huge demonic presence, and as one might imagine, looks little like his true form.

Ketra / Re: An Interesting Encounter [Rhi!]

Sakkata sighed, glancing around to see that quite a few people had paused in their passings-by to stare at what had apparently become quite the spectacle to the audience present. Just what she needed, a lot of unnecessary attention. Snorting, her tail whipped sharply to one side, the tip lashing the ground and creating a little puff of dirt.
"Please get off the ground and stop groveling. You're drawing a crowd." She growled irritably, arms coming up to cross over chest - if there was anything Sakkata was good at, it was looking damned intimidating to anything that had eyes.

Raama, on the other hand, was rather enjoying this. She giggled when Yarra waved, pressing her face into her mother's side in a wave of shyness. Just as quickly though and she was hopping away from Sakkata and toward Yarra, a bright grin on her face.
Giggling again, she slowly pointed at her own forehead, clearly holding back a great deal of her childish mirth.
"You've got dirt on your face."

Sakkata momentarily debated between pulling Raama back or letting her continue talking to the strange Drygan. This was a battle she waged with herself constantly - letting her daughter explore, and wanting to keep her daughter safe. But even as a new mother with no prior experience in these things, she knew there was such a thing as taking 'protection' too far to the point of stifling a child's growth. Besides, with the way the man had been cowering this whole time, she highly doubted he'd try anything against Raama when she was right there boring holes into him with her intense amber eyes.

Sakkata, for once, did not immediately answer her child. She was far more concerned with their safety than answering the curious question Raama had posed, and so her sharp amber eyes remained completely focused on the quivering Drygan before them. It certainly seemed he was not a threat, however it could also be a ploy to get close to them - body language and all, he could simply be a good actor.
Then again, by the tiny bit of white in his hair, it was clear he would likely be unable to do her much harm even if he wished. Her daughter had far more magical potency than him for that matter...hmm, he could be working with others though...well, so long as she did not attempt to go anywhere with him, or such things, it should not be much trouble. There were too many people, many of them armed or having magical powers themselves, to risk starting a battle here.

His response made her blink a few times, at least until she realized there was indeed the scent of food on the air, most likely from one of the many vendors in the market that morning.
"I see. I do not trust you, as a matter of course, but I will do you no harm."
Her words were still curt, but she relaxed slightly. Honestly, she just wanted this fellow Drygan to not mean her harm, and for her to be able to stopping worrying over it. But the only time that had ever happened had been when she'd met Terri - every other Drygan before and after had only wanted her dead and her power their own.

Raama could feel the tension, but she didn't quite understand it. She knew her mother was naturally a pretty wary sort, but it seemed like that was the best way to stay 'safe'. More than that, though, she was quite curious about this strange man who looked an awful lot like her and her momma. She glanced up at Sakkata, still clinging to her side, before looking back at Yarra and giving him a wave and small smile.
"Hi!"

Sakkata had been scanning the crowds somewhat lethargically. Only a select few people would have interest in her wares, so she didn't really anticipate many customers. Of course, the few she did have generally made the trip worth it - she could make more here than back in the small village she called home. What she expected even LESS to see, however, was another of her own kind. It had been six years since she'd last seen a Drygan, and perhaps she'd become somewhat complacent.

But that default reaction was still there, ingrained in her since her parents were murdered by their very own species. When her amber eyes spotted the reddish Drygan - around the same time his spotted her - she felt her blood turn to ice, her pulse pounded in her ears, and instantly her magic began to well up into her body from somewhere deep in her soul.

And then the Drygan fell flat on his ass.

And then prostrated himself.

The Chosen found herself momentarily stunned, and though her hands were tensed and ready to blast this guy into next year, she just stood there and stared down at him. He was...cowering, covering his head and everything. Not to mention that amazing show of 'grace' earlier...
All of her predatory instincts told her this creature was not a threat at all, and his own body language was all but screaming that as well. Even though she felt it would be safest to just kill him on the spot, she wasn't the sort to condone useless violence (the only exemption being Hatame).

"I have no need to hurt you if you can say the same. You clearly recognize me, and you likely understand my situation as well. State your business." Her voice was sharp, filled with the wariness she felt as well as her own domineering personality.
And then suddenly a tiny figure was next to her, small hand holding her pant leg, bright green eyes looking at the man on the ground quizzically.
"Momma? What's wrong with that man?"

Ketra / An Interesting Encounter [Rhi!]
March 21, 2012, 12:48:21 PM
The cart rumbled and rocked as it moved over the uneven path, rocks and dips causing it to jerk and toss mildly from time to time. The wooden frame creaked with the effort, adding to the symphony of sounds that followed them on their journey. A tall blue skinned figure was walking alongside a large ox, the creature pulling the cart along, the lead for the animal in her hands. Sitting on the little wooden ledge at the front of the cart, which acted like a seat, was a much smaller figure in a pale green dress. Her slender dragon like feet dangled back and forth as the cart swayed, bright green eyes scanning her surroundings as the forest thinned and the outskirts of the city came into view. Her grin grew by degrees as the sounds of people bustling about hit her pointed ears, excitement bubbling up in her - they only got to make this trip once or twice a year, so it was like a treat!
"Momma, we're almost there!!"

Turning to look back at her daughter, they Drygan had a gentle smile on her face - and she was none other than Sakkata, the Chosen of their race. All her white hair was in it's usual braid, with a few smaller ones hanging about her face - most were interwoven with beads and feathers, but one in particular had a delicate hair ornament adorning it. Looking at her daughter, she could not help the overwhelming sense of love she had for her first child - though sometimes it was bittersweet. Raamalooke, Raama for short, sported a darker shade of blue skin than her mother - and that was all Sakkata could see of herself in the young girl. Everything else reminded her of the man who had also contributed to this darling creature...from Raama's bright green eyes, to the way her hair was white all over save for her bangs, which were black...and then there were her tiny feathered wings, a mottled brown and white color. No natural Drygan would ever have wings, and it stood as an obvious reminder of Raama's father.

"Yes yes Raama, we'll be there soon. Once we set up our stall, then we can have a bit to eat. Just wait a little longer."
Her daughter was already bouncing on her seat, and Sakkata could only chuckle and shake her head. Soon their cart was rumbling through more crowded streets, her amber eyes scouting for a good nook to set up shop. A few regular stall owners nodded or waved, and Sakkata did the same in return - she was easy to pick out of a crowd, and though she did not make it to this market very often, she was enough of an oddity to stick in people's minds.
Finally, a good place opened up, and she was quick to pull her cart in.
"Raama, take care of Brother."
"Okay!" The little girl bounced down and got to unhooking the large Ox (yes, he was 'Brother'),  before leading him to a small open patch behind the stalls and staking his lead into the earth. The large creature took to grazing idly on the nearby grass.

Sakkata took a few minutes to turn her cart into a stall - fold down poles were erected, the tarp originally covering her goods now strung between them to create a sun shield. In the back of the cart, already strapped into wooden racks, were a number of swords and other weapons. Beneath them were a few pieces of armor as well - what she lacked in quantity she made up for in quality, each piece was nearly a work of art, while still remaining incredibly effective. Now that everything was set up, she sighed and glanced around at the people slowly passing by. It was still rather early in the day - it would pick up soon. A tug on her pantleg had her looking down at Raama's bright face, the girl already holding their little lunch bag in her other arm.
"Let's eat momma! I want to have those berries we found!"
"Go ahead Raama." She gave the girl a pat on the head, and then she was off to sit by Brother, her hand already pulling blackberries out of the bag. Though her daughter appeared to be about twelve, she was actually only six - Drygan grew incredibly quickly as children, and then their aging slowed down entirely. Sakkata herself was a good example - she appeared to be thirty, but she was actually closer to eighty.
She watched her daughter for a moment longer with a smile, but finally she had to tend to her shop. Leaning against the side of the cart, she continued to watch people pass by, nodding to them here and there. She adjusted her own sword - a beautiful silver thing inlaid with gold and jewels - at her hip, hiding it somewhat with the long hem of her undershirt. Even though most people here had no idea it was another symbol of her status as Chosen, it was still a valuable object that many would probably like to get their hands on if only to sell it or melt it down.

Physical Description
Sakkata is tall and muscular, with light, sky-blue skin all over. Her eyes are a pale amber color, and her long white hair is almost always in a thick braid that reaches all the way to her rump. She has a long reptilian tail, and reptilian/dragonesque feet, but there is not a scale to be found on her. Her skin is soft, but much, much tougher than a human's. She has a pretty generous bust, but her waist is not particularly thin do to the amount of lean muscle she has. She likes to wear clothes that are earth tones such as white, brown, or green. This usually consists of a simple vest that buttons/clasps up the front, with a thin undershirt that has an asymmetrical hem (one side is far longer than the other, with a rippling effect), and a pair of fairly loose pants that she can tie off at her ankles to keep out of the way of her feet, which are always bare (there is no footwear that would be able to fit on them anyway). When working with metals, she tends to wear a leather arm sleeve to block some of the heat and sudden embers/sparks. Always on her person is her ancestral sword, which is usually in a sheath at her hip. The blade, hilt, and guard are made out of one solid piece of silver, inlaid here and there with precious stones. It is infused with magical energy, and is always sought out by the Chosen to wield.
She has a cool dangly hair ornament woven into a smaller braid at the side of her face, a gift from Hatame.
A few other smaller braids now sport beads and feathers, little things her daughter has picked up and given to her.

Personality
Generally the first word used to describe Sakkata would be 'aggressive', but motherhood has changed Sakkata to some degree. She is generally much more passive these days, speaking in more tender tones with her daughter, and displaying a degree of patience she didn't even know she had. She also wishes to be a better role model overall, and as such she's learned to treat people with a basic level of respect. She speaks politely to those in La'Marri, as well as to her customers. Most people even consider her 'soft spoken' and have no idea of the fiery personality she really has.
Of course, irritation and frustration are still quick to set her off, though she's more likely to seethe with teeth bared than go into one of her infamous violent rants. All that being said, her true fury and wrath will always come boiling out of her if anything so much as looks at her daughter the wrong way.
Sakkata likes to do things her way, and always has, part of the independent nature of Drygan. She's also incredibly loyal to those she's close to, though earning her trust is a hell of a task. Her sense of honor and pride are also a bit oversized, like most Drygan. Whenever she encounters an emotion she doesn't know how to handle (like her love for Hatame) she tends to default back to anger - it's her front against uncertainty and fear.

Magic/Abilities
Her primary element is fire, and woe to those at the other end of it. She can melt the earth at her feet until it turns to magma, turn her sword into a liquid menace, and any other number of very scary fire related things. No less intimidating is her secondary power, which is that of lightening. Apart from being very destructive, Sakki also seems rather good at making people's limbs go numb with it as well (just ask Hatame). As with all other Drygan, Sakkata has the strength of a dragon in her. She also has the added Chosen bonus of being able to make herself look human. However, this involves making a magick reserve to use while in that body, so once that runs dry, the human form starts to age and then fades away, revealing her for what she truly is. Her senses are heightened, as are her reflexes.

Relationships
Family ~ Lived with her parents, no other family. They are now deceased.
Hatame ~ Equal parts bane of her existence, and love of her life. They have...a very bizarre history together. They've not been in contact for six years now.
Terri ~ A fellow Drygan, now deceased. Sacrificed herself to help save Sakkata's life.
Raamalooke ~ Raama for short, she is Sakkata's daughter, and light of her life.

History
Sakki lived with her parents for a short while, as Drygans grow quickly when they are young. By the time her physical age appeared to be 12, her real age some years less than that, they were attacked. Drygan know that the Chosen is at their most vulnerable as a child, but though the three attackers managed to kill Sakkata's defending parents, she killed them in return with her still budding powers. After that, it was always time to run for her (She cannot not stay in one place too long, for her power begins to build up a detectable aura around wherever she's at, and Drygan can track her down).
Needless to say, most of her encounters with Drygan have been...violent. She did meet the once-slave Terri, who was most reverent towards Sakkata's powers, and they soon became friends. She, along with Hatame, became Sakki's first and only real friends and companions. Terri even sacrificed herself to help bring Sakkata back after death, Hatame nearly following suit, showing their loyalty and bonds to each other.
After knowing Hatame for years and years, she finally realized she'd developed feelings for him (and he felt the same) but their 'relationship' was still dysfunctional and rocky at best. Though when the infrequent Drygan urge to mate appeared, she literally hunted him down and took him as her mate. Unfortunately, once she regained herself, she realized just what exactly she had done. She waited a few weeks to be sure, but it was undeniable, her own body telling her she'd conceived. A strange new panic welled up in her - she and Hatame had only just begun to work through their own awkward issues, and he himself didn't seem the commitment type, and she was the Chosen! Any child of hers was an instant target.
Overwhelmed, she had fled to find seclusion, a natural Drygan desire when pregnant, though she was not actually aware of it at the time. She adjusted her hormones to put off the birth as long as possible, wandering aimlessly (her instincts wanted her to find a suitable nest site, but again she was hardly even aware of it), before finally she could stall no longer. She ended up back at her own childhood home, dilapidated as it was - there she gave birth to her daughter, Raamalooke. It wasn't until after Raama was born that Sakkata realized in full force the mistake she had made - but at that point, it was too late to rectify it. She wanted to go out and find Hatame, but she would not risk her daughter's health with that much traveling and uncertainty.
Six years later, and her daughter might finally be old enough to travel with her - but by now, she's not entirely sure Hatame would want to see her anyway, so she remains in a state of indecision.

What types of plots are you interested in playing?
Anything is generally good by me lol, I'm pretty laid back. I don't mind all sorts of plot types, as I like trying new things and being challenged. I do enjoy battles, humor, and snarky banter tho lol.

What types of plots are you not interested in playing?
Hmm...well, I'm not a fan of excessive drama. Drama has it's place, but let's just say I don't make a habit of reading teen fiction for a reason =P I also don't like to pre-pair my characters romantically, though creating previous history between charries is totes okay with me. Uh but apart from that, I'm open to pretty much everything!

How often can you reply to any given thread?
Well I've been known to post multiple times in one thread in one day lol, but these days that doesn't happen as often. I work full time at a job that involves me being on my feet all day and dealing with lots of obnoxious customers so sometimes I come home and just...die XD Generally you can expect to get a reply within a week or two.

How often do you expect replies? What is the longest you're willing to wait for a reply to a thread?
Considering how long it takes me to reply sometimes, lol, I am extremely patient. I will wait for well over a month in most cases, though it also depends on whether or not my partner has like...dropped off the face of the planet or not XD Generally if you let me know you're going to need extra time, I will wait for you for however long you need.

Are you open to RPing over instant messengers? If so, what's the best way to contact you and what times are you generally available?
I'm totes okay with messenger rping! I have MSN and Skype, tho I definitely use Skype more often. Just PM me if you want my contact info! However due to work, my timeslots for being online can be really sporadic, so it may be hard to be online at the same time.

Are you open to post volleying?
I've done this quite a bit in the past, though again it's harder now that I don't have a lot of time to devote to the interwebs lol. Still, if you want to do this, feel free to let me know! I'll work with you and my schedule to work out a time to bang out some posts ^_^

Anything else?
Hmmm...Ah! To be honest, I suck at fluff and try to cut out filler wherever I can, so my posts tend to be a bit more straight-forward than most I guess lol. Sorry if you like to read long prose-y posts, you probably won't get those from me very often, unless inspiration strikes. That being said, I don't mind reading really long posts myself, they're generally fun to read. I also don't mind short posts, as long as enough happened for me to respond to. Um, I prefer it if I don't get nothing but one liners tho, it slowly kills my muse, and you'll notice my posts get smaller and smaller too lol.

PLAYER LIMITS

What are you limits regarding powerplay/godmoding?
I don't mind how aggressive you want to be with my characters, but please do not state what the damage was. Leave everything you do more or less open-ended unless you've already got my permission (pming me or hitting me up on skype work lol). Don't worry though, I like tormenting my characters, so I'm likely to let you beat the crap out of them most days =P Uh I don't like rping with characters who can never be hurt and seem to be able to counter everything - it's frustrating and unrealistic to me. However if your character far outclasses mine, and I know this, I'm not going to assume my character can kick their ass lol. So basically if you wanna do something big, either hit me up OOC, or I will for you, and we can work it out before running into any kinks.

What are your limits in regards to romantic situations?
Romance is totes cool, but as I mentioned before, I do not generally pre-pair my characters. There IS an exemption to that rule, which is if I create a character specifically for you and a character(s) of yours. Otherwise I prefer romance to just...happen on its own, it's more fun to me that way. My characters all have specific sexualities, ranging from heterosexual to polysexual, so I have no problem with boyxgirl, girlxgirl, boyxboy pairings and so on (like characters with ambiguous or both genders and what have you lol). Age differences also don't really affect me - basically love is love is love and I'm pretty much open to whatever lol.

What are your limits in regards to sex?
On to sex, lol. I have no problems rping out a sex scene, though I generally want to be at least somewhat familiar with you before diving into something like that. I don't do smut for smut's sake. If you don't want to rp the scene on the forum, we can move it onto an IM service, and I'm also okay with just a simple 'fade to black' if that's what you prefer.

What are your limits in regards to pregnancy within plots?
Well considering one of my charries has already ended up with a kid due to a plot, I'd say I'm pretty open lol. When opposite gender people has teh sexy timez, babies can happen! I would prefer for you to let me know if you're char will get pregnant, just as I would let you know if I was planning for mine to, just so that plots can be arranged or updated as a result.

What are your limits in regards to violent scenes?
Bro I love rping violence pff. I love action scenes and fights and things of that nature, and violence in general has never bothered me much in an rp setting. I am totally okay with this sort of action!

How far can character injuries go?
I love injuring my characters >_> So, uh, you can pretty much have at, and I'll decide just how badly my character was injured. You can state what you're aiming for and I'll either let it fly or not. But seriously...having a character lose a limb is not outside what I'd be willing to do lol.

What are your limits in regards to abuse/rape in plots?
Not sure if you've noticed by now, but I'm really laid back and open about pretty much everything lol. I've done abuse plots and rape plots before (ohohoho~) but I understand it's a very touchy subject for a lot of people. So the rule for me is - whatever YOU are comfortable with. This isn't something I generally would try and push on someone, tho if a char of mine is prone to things like this, I would likely say so in their profile as a heads up.

How far can torture go?
If I've agreed to a torture thread, chances are I'm prepared to have my character get royally screwed over lol. I've done some really terrible stuff to my own characters in threads so, surprising me with something might be hard. If you're doing something that I don't necessarily want for that character, I'd probably just let you know OOC. But otherwise, have a field day you sadist you <3

What about character death?
Um...if I'm planning on killing a character, and I want someone else to do it, I'll probably throw up a post asking for a volunteer lol. Otherwise, I generally do not want my character randomly slaughtered XD

Are you okay with characters being transformed against their will?
You should probably run this sort of thing by me OOC so I know what your plans are and I can give you an answer one way or the other. If you don't want to contact me or forget, and your character tries it? Well, I'm in control of my own character so I can just avoid it one way or another lol.

What about healing?
Yaaay healing! Go for it, in most cases. However if my character has a longstanding issue, such as an illness, blindness, crippled limb, etc, you can assume I want it to stay until I create my own plot to fix it. Although sometimes it works out that I don't even have to plot it out, the situation just turns to my advantage and I'll go with it. If you are going to heal my character tho, please explain how and why in your post.
