**Kaison tensed as it became obvious that the girl was beginning to awaken - she spoke a little as her slumbering mind jolted itself back into reality; but quite what she said remained a mystery to him. Despite his father occasionally complaining that Kaison refused to educate himself in other languages, the young Djinn steadfastly refused to learn anything more than his own native tongue - and even then, he barely spoke at all.**
**As the girl opened her eyes and found him by the window, there was a startled, bewildered expression - something that he had no doubt his father and sister would find amusing should they have seen. For a brief second, he glanced around him; pushing shoulder-length strands of dark hair back and letting his thoughtful gaze to find the floor for a moment... surely his father wouldn't be too long...**
**The silence was uncomfortable, though - and he feared that his complete refusal to talk would upset Lizz and so, with an almost exasperated sigh, he shook his head and spoke. His voice was timid, not quite as deep as his father's... but there was a much thicker accent to his words, something that seemed to coat every single syllable and hang ominously and tangibly on every word. Only a handful of words were given - but they were incomprehensible, in an impossibly rapid, complex language that would be entirely alien to this world.**
**There was a gentle shrug of those youthful shoulders, only the very beginnings of a timid smile across those thin lips. It was hoped that Lizz would understand that, just as she likely couldn't understand a single thing he said; he was in much the same position. Truthfully, if Coma had thought that the girl would awaken, he would likely have asked his daughter, Aradia, to watch Lizz... but at least he had kept his promise of leaving someone with her - even if his choice couldn't speak the same language as her.**
