To say the least Tische was not in a good mood, though she supposed there weren't many people who be if they were in her position. From the beginning she knew she that couldn't trust those bastards that she had hired to travel with, and she had been extremely careful around. At least she had thought she had been anyway, but apparently she hadn't been careful enough. Somehow when she wasn't looking they had managed to drug her water. It was the only possible explanation she could think of for why she had ended up in her current predicament, but when and how were the questions on her mind.

Regardless she had underestimated them, and now here she was bound and gagged at the side of the road, forced to only look on as they went through her belongings.

Well... maybe forced was too strong a word. Like she had underestimated them, the fools had underestimated her. If they thought simple rope would hold her they were sadly mistaken. In fact the only thing that had kept her from turning her bindings to ashes already was her patience. She knew why they had stuck around long enough for her to wake up instead of just walking away with everything she had. They wanted to have their way with her, and that when they tried it would present her with the perfect opportunity to show them why they should have just killed her when they had the chance. Revenge was after all a dish best served when they least expected it.

But for now she would wait patiently until they made their move.

The first one of the mercenaries to notice that she was awake was a portly Connlaothian male who was as ugly as he was fat.  He had been the ringleader of the trio and she hadn't liked him in particular from the very start, though at the time she hadn't had many options. No matter. He would be dead soon enough.

"Oi boys, the drow cunt is up," he called to the others, a tall Essyrni man in his early thirties and an Adelan who looked like he had a bit of Serenian in him. If looks could kill the glare Tische shot him would have wiped an entire kingdom clean off the map. She absolutely hated being called a drow. It was almost as bad as being called an Umbraeon.

She was a dark elf, plain and simple. Not some sodden spider humper.

The man didn't seem to mind. In fact he simply flashed a smug smile of satisfaction in her direction. "I like 'em when 'ere feisty. Makes it even more satisfying when I put 'em in 'eir place."

The day was dismal and cloudy as the pair made their way down the path. It was a large undistinguished figure dressed in a large and very tattered cloak and custom hood to hide their long neck and face. The only exception to the cloak was the long colorfully frilled tail that swayed behind. The creature was very grumpy today, not fond of the weather and probably brooding on something or other.

The companion was a rather small one, a child in fact. It was a demonic creature, at a young age where its gender was barely distinguishable. It sat perched on her shoulder, practically nude with the exception of soft scaly frills decorating its small imp-like body. It was dark-skinned and docile as it looked around at the scenery from its spot, noticing the people in the distance, and informing its friend.

Hooded face looked out into the distance at the group on the side of the road and keen eyes made out the members. "hmph. Looks like a problem up ahead, huh?" a somewhat female voice hissed lowly. As they got closer, the men would surely notice their presence and react defensively. Maybe if she were smaller, they would just try and shoo her off, but this living wall stood around seven feet, and obviously didn't look human under its shawl.

The lackeys puffed up as she passed by, noticeably wary of her size, but guarding none the less. They looked clearly like muggers. How pathetic. She growled under her breath, her face barely visible by the shadows, and finally stopped in her track when she felt they were trying way too hard to see her off. Her little companion, cute as a button, tilted its head and watched the scene with great curiosity. Without a doubt, she was annoyed by this and turned slowly to face the defensive men, an audibly growl rising from deep in her throat as the little one crawled behind her now.

"Yu should REALLY work on that..." she growled at the bigger of the two men. "Can't even mind my own business and you STILL get pushy...." she snapped louder, exceedingly aggravated. "And what's going on here anyway? You have my attention now, after all!" she turned her reptilian gaze to the overweight man and hissed, taking a heavy step forward. Those eyes then shot down to the bound woman a moment before looking between the three men. That growl deepened with intense anger. "...men..."

With her last low-grumbled remark, she lashed out, a large clawed hand grappling the man's face who stood before her and with incredible strength, the easily toppled him over and planted it into the ground, the motion whisking open her shroud and revealing her colorful body. Well endowed chest bounced with the lurched reaction as she completely ignored lackey number two and looked at the fat man. "Three of you, eh?!" she yelled, long neck slipping from her hood to get in the ring leader's face, showing her angered expression and animalistic features as her grip tightened on that one man's head.

"Whydonchya try me instead?!" She moaned suggestively, followed by a disgruntled cackle. Her rage could be felt. Not all of it spawned from this event either. Most had been built up aggression. Unlucky for them, they were the straw that broke this camel's back.

Tische's eyes remained locked on the portly man even after he turned away. It had taken every fiber of her being not to break free then and there, and quite literally show him what he was made of. But no. She would have to endure it for now. He would get what was coming to him eventually, and she had every intention of savoring that moment for as long as he managed to survive.

The intensity of her glare did not fade away until she noticed that all three of the men seemed to be staring at something down the road. If she had to guess they would have company soon, which was probably a bad thing for her regardless of what kind of person it was. If it was another thief it would only be one more person she would have to worry about when the time came, and if it was someone else there was the risk that they would run the men off before she could get her hands on them. Or worst, they might even kill them...

The only possible way she could get exactly what she wanted was if the person was too weak for them to do something. Unfortunately when the person was close for her to get a good look at them any hope she had had was almost completely destroyed. The figure was tall and large, and while she couldn't see too clearly underneath their cloak they seemed almost monstrous. Couple that with the fact that she could sense magic within both it and the...thing that hung from them shoulder, and she could tell the men had little chance of prevailing if a conflict ensued.

Just great...

Still, considering her position she had to act the victim here. To not do so would be too suspicious. So when the figure looked in her direction she wriggled against her binding, and mumbled underneath her gag. She had almost been tempted to mutter curses at her luck, but her better judgment prevented her from doing so.

She didn't know which way the figure would go at first, but it seemed to be angry when it saw her if its growl was any indication. The men were definitely dead now, and there was nothing she could do about it. At least she would get to watch. It wouldn't be quite as satisfying as what she had planned, but it was better than nothing she supposed.

When the figure removed its cloak the dark elf examined it carefully, just in case it tried to do something to her when it was finish. She wasn't all that terrified by the creature's appearance, but more curious than anything else. It looked like some form of humanoid lizard, a rather intimidating one at that. It also appeared to be a female of its species, or at least she assumed it was based on the fact it had breasts. She didn't quite know what it was, but if her experiences taught her anything it was that there were a lot of creatures she had never seen before wandering the continent.

While she wasn't scared she could tell that that wasn't the case for the two men who were visibly shaking before the creature, the fat one in particular. She had known that bastard was a coward from the first time she laid eyes on him. It bothered her that it wasn't her that had them quivering in their boots, but again she could do nothing in her situation.

Anonymous

The mood sank and she got the feeling they were about to piss themselves. This certainly spoiled her mood, and she huffed. "This is it?!" she glared at the fat man. "I grab one of you, and you just stand and quiver?!" she barked, picking up the completely disoriented man, whose face she still held. She stood him up and released his head, letting him stagger backward. "Why'r you even here?! Eh?! You should be ashamed, bluffing like that!" She rambled angrily. "I mean really, this is pathetic!" she snapped, intimidating them well. They were sickening to her. Such sorry fellows.

Those fierce eyes rolled over to the bound and gagged girl and she just stared at her. "Did you LET them do this? "I mean, really..." she idly shoved the second lackey who was still cowering. She paused a moment, as if the girl would be able to reply, but she would just stare at her.

When enough silence passed, and she got no answer, she just grinned, showing off her sharp teeth. She sensed a feisty spirit in this one. "Oh, I'm sorry. Am I interrupting?" she retorted to the girl. "You want them, don't you?" she figured out simply. "I mean, well, you look pretty pissed right now!" she had a laugh, her mood lightening somewhat.

At that point, she was interrupted by her little companion. At a closer view, one could see more of its features. It sat crouched, with clawed fingers and toes, young frills still silky soft. A little forked tail wiggled high and rapidly, like a two headed snake, the tips covered in more of these frills. It had large animalistic eyes, lined in black, dripping down its cheeks like it were painted on its narrow and near noseless face. It had two small slits on the little stump that was its nose and a mostly bald head, filling in with those frills. After a long stare, it looked somewhat feminine possibly. The little one bounced and gestured, then whispered in the large woman's earslit.

"I suppose..." she grumbled, grinning at the girl again. "Tell you what! Since these poor excuses of men have ruined my mood, they're all yours!" And in a flash, she whirled around, her vibrant tail scraping the ground, and lifting at the girl's body, barely making it over her head as it whizzed past. The action toppled all three men over and she walked to hover over them, growling.

She began inhaling, closing her mouth and puckering, her long throat growing a bubble of stretchy skin like a frog as she whipped her head back. She snapped it forward and a burst of flame shot out, narrowed into a concentrated beam of plasma. She shot this at the ground and swung her head, digging a line and scorching their feet down to their skin. They would feel an intense burn as their lower legs were lit ablaze, making them unable to walk away easily.

"All yours hun!" she spoke after putting out her breath and wiping her moth with a large clawed hand. She turned to the girl again, stomping over to her and ignoring the screams of the pitiful men. "don't disappoint!" she reached over and lifted the girl to her feet like a doll, spinning her around and extending a finger to slice down her binds, then relieving her of the gag. She gave her a good pat on the back and turned her in back in the direction of the men. She was a little rough, as if she didn't realize her own strength.

"Go ahead!" she gave her a pat on the bum and then brushed past her, pulling her shawl to cover her large body as she began to walk off, the critter on her shoulder sitting backward to watch the girl as they headed off, wondering if she'd be okay. The lizard woman trudged off slowly, not in a big hurry to leave, and she wasn't sure if the girl would be safe by herself still.

Tische could only look on as the strange creature continued to berate the three men. Clearly they knew that they were screwed, and it continued to irritate her. It was her that they should have been fearing right now, not some... some lizard.

It just wasn't fair!

What the reptilian creature did next didn't help matters either. Apparently she had noticed her bitterness, and was actually laughing at her. She hated being looked down upon, but at least the creature had the decency to realized that the men's lives were rightfully her. So she let herself be picked and freed, though she notably said nothing of it.

Instead as soon as she was free of her bounds the dark elf's glare now came to a rest on the three mercenaries she had every intention of taking her frustration on. By now her aggravation had reached the point where she just wanted the men dead. A quick death would not be given to them however. Oh no, they would still suffer and she would see to it. But she would not waste time administering each and every bit of it. There were more important things she needed to do.

She did not give the men much of a chance to even attempt running with their damaged feet, immediately calling out to Lamia as it lay by the side of the road with the rest of her belongings. The black and gold sword would answer accordingly by rising from the ground on its own and propelling itself forward until it came to rest in her grip. It would not remain stationary for long. With a wave of her arm the curved blade lashed out like a serpent, segmenting and whipping through the air until it had left its mark on the two lackeys' necks.

The portly leader wouldn't be so lucky as to be left to choke on his own blood like his followers. Tische had a far worst fate in store for him. With a simple flick of her wrist the sable blade recoiled just a bit only to be thrust forward once more into the man's stomach. She did not stop there however. Instead she slowly walked up to where he stood, her sword retracting with each step until it was at its dormant length again. Once she was close enough she leaned forward to whisper sweetly in his ear.

"Is this feisty enough for you asshole?"

The man's howls of agony as blue flames erupted from the tip of Lamia's blade to cook his insides were like music to her ears, and she savored every second of it. When the man could scream no more she ripped the blade mercilessly from his stomach and turned to face where her things were laid out. Her eyes furrowed for a second, then her hand rose again casing each piece to lift from the ground and sort themselves out. Clothes folded, papers reorganized, coins collected, all before coming together and neatly floating into her bag.

Once everything was in order she called the bag over to her and turned to face the lizard woman had gone off in. As angry as she was she did not feel like walking back to Zantaric to find more mercenaries to escort her on her task. And there was but one other person out her at the moment. So she gauged the distance the reptilian had put between and then wove a simple teleportation spell to put her directly in the lizard woman's path. Her eyes would run over the creature's inhuman physique once more before she spoke.

"You... seem competent. Perhaps you would be interested in the job I offered them?"

Anonymous

She didn't have to look back to tell the girl was violent natured. She couldn't argue, she was too, in her own way. Pulling up her hood, she ignored the screams and went on her merry way, her little companion purring and yawning sleepily. Some real rest would do them some good. She hadn't slept well as of late, truth be told.

And when she thought she saw the last of the girl, the small elf poofed right in front of her. The large lizard stopped in her path, her shawl swaying a bit with the stop of movement, around her once more, covering her true shape. She craned her neck back, gazing down upon the girl who impeded her with those serpent eyes as she straightened her tired form with a good stretch, reaching near her full height well above seven feet.

Face beneath the shadows of her cowl, those eyes were completely different from before, showing no signs of that intense wrath. Instead, they were cool and glazed, revealing just how tired she truly was. Before the girl could finish the last part of her question, a large hand would plop down on her head gently, covering the top half and ruffling her hair, surely muffling the last two words she spoke. "eh...?" she remarked calmly, leaning to one side and tilting her head, hairless brow quirking.

The ruffling continued for only a moment before she picked up her hand and met the elf's gaze once more with a slight smile on her long face. The large creature was like a gentle giant all of the sudden. "Happy now...?" she asked softly as if she missed, or possibly ignored the question. But before she got an answer, she gave the girl a soft pat to the side of her arm, enough to make her stumble. "That's good." She responded anyway, slumping back into her normal stature and starting up her walk again.

The entire time, her little child companion watched the elf with equally tired eyes, giving another yawn and laying flopped on her shoulder, just watching silently like it  usually did.

Xphy

If the lizard woman was trying to get on her nerves she was doing a pretty good job of it. She was already in a bad mood about what had transpired earlier and having her plans ruined, so being completely ignored really hadn't help matters. Nor had being patronized.

Still... this person, lizard, thing was convenient for her so she would hold her temper for a bit. Her only other option was to waste several days walking back to Zantaric, and finding a whole new batch of mercenaries who would probably be no more competent than the ones she had just dispatched of, and she had no intention of doing that.

None whatsoever...

So she crossed her arms over her chest and sigh. "At least hear me out before you go..." There was but a tinge of annoyance in her tone as she spoke at the back of the reptilian as she walked away. She would not show this creature any weakness or desperation though. If worst came to worst she would simply go about her task by herself. It was a lot better than pleading in her eyes.

"I'm sure even someone like you would benefit from what I need done."

Anonymous

The large woman came to a stop once more when the girl requested to be heard, but she didn't face her, she just topped, still facing forward. She let out an exasperated sigh and slouched noticeably, waiting for the rambling. The annoyance was clear it the stranger's voice and she listened silently, at least giving her that much. When the explanation was over, she groaned audibly and brought a large hand up to rub her face beneath the hood.

"Yeah...that's probably true..." she answered unenthusiastically. Clearly, she was exhausted and wanted to find a place to sleep, and possibly eat. Her little companion was also hungry and tired. After a long and noisy moment of thought, she slowly turned to face the strange elf again, her eyes lifeless as she looked down at the small woman. She trudged back in her direction, looking down upon her from her staggering height.

"I want a room...and food..." she demanded in a low groaning tone, having little money herself. She usually hung out in the wilderness, but she wished to treat the child to something nice for once. "Then we can talk details and if it's worth my time..." she added lazily. Yes, she made demands without the guarantee that she would even agree. "Deal...?" she grumbled, showing signs of sleepiness and extending her large hand to the small elf gently.

Xphy

Tische's eyes remained locked on the creature as she came to a stop. At least she had had some measure of success in garnering the larger woman's attention, though the fact that she was making demands without guaranteeing service irritated her. Under any other circumstance she would have told her to go screw herself, but these were not normal circumstances and she really did not feel like turning back.

So she continued to stare at the reptilian's back for a few more seconds with furrowed eyebrows and folded arms before answering. "Fine..." There was tinge of bitterness in her tone, however after weighing her options she had decided that it was the lesser of two evil. Besides she could have used some rest herself. That and some alcohol. She needed to wash away the sour taste of her day being completely ruined...

"There should be a small town not too far from here. It's nothing special per say, but food and a bed should available there," she continued, her eyes shifting to look down the dirt road beyond the lizard woman. It would be a decent walk, but it was in the direction she was heading. In fact she had originally planned to stop there for a bit before things went sour with her former travel companions.

She just hadn't planned to stay the night like she was now going to be forced to.

Anonymous

The girl agreed. Well, that wasn't too bad, she thought. Maybe tonight wouldn't be so bad after all. Those heavy serpent eyes followed her eyes down the road and the lizard turned her head to look in that direction a moment before lazily turning back to the girl and just stared at her silently a moment with an exhausted face. "Good. I was hoping there was ssomething near here. It's been a long day." She broke the silence.

Her large body shifted then, turning in the direction of town and she began walking once more, slow enough for the girl to catch up. "Wanna tell me what happened while we walk?" she made conversation, tired face staring forward still as she trudged along. "Or at the very leasst, tell me more about what you want from me and why?" she went on, shifting her gaze down and to the side to look upon the girl as if waiting for a reply.

"Would you like me to carry you?" she then interjected to offer somewhat graciously. She may have been tired, but the girl couldn't possibly put a dent in her natural endurance. The child on her shoulder just listened lazily to the chatting, looking somewhat drowsy and cute as it yawned and began purring a soft purr as it clung to the lizard woman gently.

Xphy

When the woman offered to carry her to the village the dark elf looked up at her briefly before replying nonchalantly. "If you insist I suppose." She didn't know what she had to gain from carrying her, especially since she seemed to be quite tired, but she wasn't the type to turn down an offer like that. Plus not having to walk the entire way would help with her mood.

"And I would like you to help me reach a certain well," she sighed, considering exactly how much she wanted to tell the reptilian before she agreed to help. If what she had learned about the well was true getting to it was not going to be an easy task, which was the only reason she had no intention of going alone. She didn't have a death wish after all. "Originally I had hired those men for this task... but based on their performance earlier I doubt they would have survived long enough to be of any help to me."

Her eyes ran over the lizard woman, appraising her form once more before continuing. "You on the other hand seem like you would be able to handle yourself well enough to get me there in one piece." Honestly she wasn't entirely sure that the woman could actually be able to survive the journey, but at the very least she would make for a much better distraction for anything that got in her way than the mercenaries would have.

"My name is Tische by the way."

Anonymous

When the girl said she wouldn't mind a ride, the large lizard slowed to a stop and turned to her. She waited first, to hear the explanation, and when the girl was finished and gave her name, she introduced herself in return. "Issethra" she greeted softly, gazing down at her again. "...Tissche, was it?" she asked as she extended her large hand. Isethra gave Tische a mild warning as that hand came to grab her hand, gently lifting Tische's arm above her head. "Up we go." She said, giving Tische a good lift, nice and slow, with just one long arm, lifting the girl high above her head an craning her over to her backside.

With her other arm, she reached up and grabbed the sleepy child, who made a soft squeak in surprise, and pulled him from her shoulder so she could set Tische down. Under the large shawl, Tische could feel her soft frills from beneath the fabric, making a comfortable padding for her as she sat upon the creature's shoulders. Then the child was placed back and, now awake, he crawled up onto Tische's thigh and clung back into place, looking up at the new passenger with adorable large eyes before yawning again and cuddling against Isethra's long neck.

With that task done, she began walking once more, thinking about what Tische had said. "Sso this 'well', am I allowed to know what it is?" She asked curiously. "And just what kind of danger are we talking about? And I'm to be your brute? Your bodyguard for all thiss?" She went on sluggishly, followed by a yawn.

Xphy

Tische allowed Isethra to pick her up, unsure on exactly how she planned to carry her. There were many ways she could do it but it seemed she decided to go with the shoulder. She looked down at the strange creature that had been riding on the lizard woman's shoulder when it climbed onto her thigh. It had its own charm he supposed, but it was still quite strange looking. The dark elf said nothing of it though. Instead she sighed, and considered the questions she'd been asked.

"I'm interested in well's waters. Based on what I've heard those who drink from it are shown their past, present, and future." Honestly she had expected the question and Tische actually smiled slightly at them. Only a fool wouldn't ask about a job offer where their life could potentially be on the line, meaning this woman wasn't incompetent. She would be useful indeed.

"As for being my 'brute,' I have heard that a number of strange creatures have been spotted in the surrounding areas and I'd prefer not go alone," she continued, placing her hand on top of the child. There was truth in her words, but not the entire truth. There was a bit more, but the dark elf felt it wasn't necessary for her to know. At least not now anyway. "I'd be willing to pay if that's what you're worried about. The total amount I was willing to pay those three men."

Anonymous

She almost stopped dead in her tracks. Was this true? Past, present and future?? "Oh?" She replied calmly, keeping her cool after hearing such a thing. Thoughts raced through her mind then as Tische went on to explain her role in all this. What were the odds? Could it really be a possible lead?? "Heh, I could imaging with ssuch a powerful legend would come equal feats to protect it." She replied with a soft chuckle, a little more interested in the story, or so she let Tische believe.

All she could think about now was that well, but she didn't want to ask too many eager questions. "...How many know of this well...and what are the odds we will find others who sseek it?" she asked coolly. "Is it a sstory, or are there those who truly believe the myth is real?" she went on to ask, showing a moderate amount of skepticism one would expect. She didn't seem all that interested in the payment either. She would be satisfies with just having this woman take care of necessary payments while they traveled, and she would be happy.

It was along walk, but not more than Isethra could bear. For the rest of the travel to town, all she could think about was another she knew who she might be able to find who would seek such a fable. Finally the town was in sight and the large woman let out a sigh of relief, mildly excited to see some civilization, though civilization hardly met her kind. They were a very tribal people, living among nature. Tonight, Tische would learn many things about her kind, starting with how much she could eat.

Xphy

Tische sighed at Isethra's question. They were the typical questions most would ask in this kind of situation. Hell even those incompetent fools she had disposed of had inquired about those very same topics. She didn't know what interests in the well, and in all honesty the dark elf didn't care. The lizard woman hadn't turned her down yet and that was all that matter.

For a second she pretended to think the questions before saying anything. There was no point in answering right away. "Honestly I don't know how many people know of its existence, but I know for a fact that it exists," she replied, catching sight of the town for the first time. It was a relief to her that they would be arriving soon. A warm meal, a strong drink, and a fresh bed were all on her mind, and they were the first things she would seek when they got there.

"I have met someone who has seen the well for themselves, and I have no reason to believe that they weren't telling the truth," she added calmly folding her arms across her chest. Her 'contact' had actually been quite helpful, though a bit of coaxing had been in order. Coaxing and bit of glamor to prevent him from lying.

Anonymous

"I ssupose its good enough a reason for you to trust in the information." She responded with mild amusement. "But for someone like me, I'm still sskeptical. What the hell though, doesn't ssound too bad sso far. Maybe good exercise too." She chuckled, giving a small stretch, making sure to not have Tische falling off on her while she did so.

"You're a tough cookie, aren't you?" She commented. "I be you put on a ssweet face to ssway all the boys." She mused with a small grin. The town surely was approaching, and she felt her body pulling towards it eagerly for the night.

Before too long, they came upon the small town and headed further into the cluster of buildings to find the one that looked like a place for their needs. Isethra was not very familiar with such and would let Tische lead her, though there would probably be some stares at the woman riding the tall shrouded creature into town.

Finally, they found the place and Isethra let Tische down gently and ducked to clear the doorway, being a gentle giant as she entered the inn's lobby. She stood off to the side to let Tische deal with the necessary arrangements while she wandered over to the small diner in the other room. She looked around curiously, wondering if she should go straight for the food or not. She tried to be on her best behavior this evening for Tische's sake and played nice, but the stares would irritate her mildly.

Xphy

The inn Tische had led them to was a quaint little place not too far from where they had entered the town. It was her first time visiting this particular town, but she had done her research beforehand and this particular inn was the closes to what she was willing to tolerate. She didn't do the more seedy places unless she absolutely had to. That or she had equally seedy business to address.

Once they had found the place and Isethra had let her down she made her way over to the innkeeper's desk while her companion went into the other room. Part of her was actually glad the reptilian woman decided to leave her while she made arrangements for the night. It gave her more freedom to do what she needed to do. Put on that 'sweat face' for the portly old innkeeper that Isethra had mentioned earlier.

It hadn't taken long for them to reach an agreement on the price of their lodging. It was discounted of course, and once the innkeeper had given her the key to their room she gave him a suggestive wink before heading into the diner. Finding Isethra had been easy enough. After all there weren't many crowds where a seven foot tall bipedal lizard wouldn't stand out in. She also seemed to be garnering a fair bit of attention, not that Tische was surprised. A few had looked in her direction as well, but the dark elf ignored them. A lot of humans had a negative opinion of her kind, and to be honest she really couldn't care less.

Instead she simply made her way over to where Isethra had taken a seat and joined her. "We're in room 6 upstairs for tonight," she said as she sat, signaling for a serving girl to come over. "In the morning we'll stock up on supplies before heading out. But for now order whatever you like."

Anonymous

She listened intently to her new woman companion, Tische, and nodded in agreement when she was informed. "Soundss good." She seemed content, more so about the last part of what Tische said. Isethra thought about it than, wondering just what she wanted to eat, and the child too. After short period of decision-making, she ordered for herself and her little one, stomach growling already. Tonight, they would eat well.

A grin curled on the lips of her long face at the sight of food, and she gave it a good sniff, letting the child down in the seat on the other side of her. She took one of the plates and made him a serving, which he dug right into, and then she tasted it herself, enjoying the hot meal. Isethra may be a beast, but she didn't eat like one. She ate slow and steady, though her portions were large.

"So then." She spoke breaking from her meal. "What kind of supplies are we stocking up on? And what kind of room is it? "She asked, seemingly more interested in what the room looked like more than the supplies they would need. She was a survivalist, so supplies weren't one of her worries. Rooms were something she was foreign to, and this interested her.

(Sorry its short, hopefully we'll get it moving good. ^^)

((OoC: Sorry for the short post and the delay. I've been busy trying to get everything settled for the start of the semester.))

Tische chose not to order any actual food when the serving girl took their order. Her people didn't much, and she probably couldn't stomach it even if she was hungry. So instead she decided to only ask for a bottle of wine. She didn't know if the lizard woman drank or not, and in all honesty she didn't care. She needed the drink, and that was all that mattered.

When the girl returned the dark elf immediately reached for the bottle and poured herself a glass, before looking over to see what her companion had ordered. Judging from the amount of food she had in front of her it seemed that this one was going to be an expensive mouth to feed. On the bright side though, there was only one of her and she was traveling with enough money to feed four people.

"Nothing special. Just food, and medical supplies," she replied to Isethra's question after taking a sip of her wine. It wasn't the best she had tasted, but it would have to do. "And I haven't stayed here before but I paid for a room with two beds and a basin for washing."

Isethra noticed the lack of food before Tische and sighed at the thought of skipping a meal. Then she stared at the alcohol. Before she could ask more, Tische replied, and she listened. "I've never sslept in a bed before. And a bassin, what is that?" she wondered with a quirk in her brow as those serpent eyes watched Tische drink. "...Not eating?" she then asked before waiting for a response to her previous question.

"You should eat." She shook a finger at her almost motherly in a small way. "Traveling on an empty sstomach won't do you any good." She pointed out, then holding up her breadstick at Tische. She tried to be nice and held it close to Tische's mouth as if expecting her to take a bite right from her hand like it was a natural thing to do. It was cute in a way, but she saw no problem with it. "Go on, have some." She cooed with a small smile as she leaned against the bar a little bit. For being such a large and intimidating creature, she had the instincts to watch over those around her.
