Cleara Verdad had come into Arca late the previous night. The small religious group quickly rented out any and every spare room that an Inn or tavern could spare. Naturally, the Saints got their own rooms, with the exception of Sinead, who gladly shared his bed with his betrothed, Glimmer.
Sinead arose well before dawn, as per normal. He was careful not to disturb his beloved from her slumber as he slipped from the bed. He had a surprise planned for her, but it required a little preparation.
Picking up her discarded clothes, Sinead snuck from the room. Twenty minutes later he returned to the room, laid the clothes back where they were and stripped of his own. Returning to the bed, Sinead curled up next to Glimmer and waited for her to wake up.
