CH. I – Painting a Portrait
Agrain has regal features, dark swarthy flesh, indecipherable whether that’s due to his Essyrni blood or Adelan descent.  His head covered in a long, but roughly cut thickness of hair, nearly black, but with a distinct tinge of red in it.  He has proud features, deep inset eyes with a high brow and medium aquiline nose.  Agrian if of substantial height, even for his people, and carries himself sternly, and is built powerfully.  Where once he used to be slender and thin, frail even to the touch of wind, now his body is bold and his mind is fearless.

+ NOTABLE MARKS +
His back and front are detailed maps of a life dishonored.  Whip scars are lashed all across his back and cuts and gouges were slashed across his chest, abdomen, arms.  He also has a branding on his ankle that marked him as a slave and pit fighter, but it has been cut over and purposefully disfigured as that statement is no longer as valid as it once was.

CH II – Mental Make-up
There’s a patience to Agrian that some would find daunting, nay maddening, to say the least.  He is daring and calculating, quick to gauge another but remaining flexible enough in his conclusions to change his mind at a moment’s notice.  But he is bitter and spiteful, and looks upon the rich and powerful with disdain, particularly those that abuse their station, corrupt in their dictation, and willfully ignorant of harsh reality.

Despite the loss of the wealth and power he once had, Agrian maintains of the more important assets that could not be stripped from him.  He is highly intelligent and a cold, and possibly even brilliant tactician.  He is daring and bold, unafraid to risk what he must to accomplish his own ends.

He has a magnetic persona to him, a restlessness, an energy, a will to fight that often stems into others around him.  He is charismatic and charming, able to empathize with others, even to use that gift to take back what was rightfully his.

+ FAITH +
If Agrian  had any faith in the religion in which he was raised, it has since brittled, or faded away altogether.  Agrian is a realist with little time to waste on matters of useless deities.  And he views priests and pilgrims with as equal disdain as he does nobles and merchantmen.  His faith was one of the things he had taken for granted, among most of all other things in his life.

+ HABITS +
Despite his patience, Agrian never likes to remain idle for long.  His mind is his greatest weapon, and he exercises it, plans and connects and calculates.

CH III – Social

+ RELATIONSHIPS +
Valkiel Ky’vhel, Father, deceased, 60
Madran Ahnahk, Half-brother, alive, 33
Tythala Ky’vhel, Sister, alive, 24

CH IV – Abilities / Skills
+ TACTICIAN +
Agrian bears a cold intelligence, in combination with his boldness and will to win, can be a dangerous combination to bear.  He is careful and patient, able to wait as long as it takes with careful planning to achieve his ends.  He will use any and all available assets at his disposal, keeping foresight in mind.

+ GLADIATOR +
His time as a slave has given him a keener insight onto the horrors of such imprisonment and servitude.  He was once blind to it, admittedly, like so many are in places of power.  Agrian however has used this to advantage to gain the trust and admiration of those in enslavement along with him, those used to die in the Pit for entertainment.  He also learned a great deal about combat, weapons, armor, and battle tactics.

CH V – Gear / Equipment
Agrian carries a sword, a set of javelins, and a spear with him while traveling.  As a gladiator, he trained with an extensive amount of weapons, and his former position as a Merchant Prince, gave him access to the best teachers his father could afford.

CH VI – Reflections of the Past
WIP

Agrian Ky’vhel was a Merchant Prince somewhere north on the outskirts of Essyrn, a life hard won by his father and his father before him, growing rich in trade and quite adept at remaining one step ahead of their rivals.  It wasn’t uncommon for them to war with one another, raid each other’s caravans for prisoners, slaves, and goods.  Agrian was accustomed to his riches, to the knowledge that he would inherit his father’s power and fortunes.  He was overly confident, arrogant, perhaps more than he had any right to be.

His half-brother Madran, illegitimate in recognition of inheritance by Valkiel’s Council, was taken in by his father as his liege and charged with his care and upbringing.  Though he was older, he did not seem to show any sort of contempt for his younger brother and Agrian and Madran grew up together in a bond of brotherhood, one Agrian had believed to be stronger than all else.

But when his father was slain, Agrian was unprepared for the blame to be thrown onto him.  By an unseen twist of fate, Madran declared Agrian a traitor, for the failure to defend their father’s life, and the failure to avenge his death when he was on a trade route near the south of Essyrn.  Madran sold his brother into slavery, to a Prospector of pit fighters, and knowing he would die in the Pit and forgotten forever.

Agrian did not die however, he survived, and will do what he must to repay in kind the fate done to him by the one he had trusted most.
