Sentinel

I was thinking of creating a storyline for my character, Astrauld, to be implemented in the Spirits of the Earth world as a notoriously deadly assassin. I want to tell the story of how he was given the alias of Kingslayer by his fellow assassins, and how The Bladed Nomads, a guild of assassins came to fruition.

This story takes place in the past, so characters whose positions are currently fulfilled are permitted.

Here is the list of characters needed.

The Assassins - Characters who must be willing to join The Bladed Nomads at the end of this story
1. Astrauld (becomes Grandmaster of The Bladed Nomads)
2. Assassin
3. Assassin
4. Assassin

Royalty - The ones who do the hiring whom dwell in

1. The Grand Duke of Connlaoth (character must be willing to die)
2. A Prince (must be willing to die)
3. The Mage of the Grand Duke

The Royal Guard - Protectors to the Grand Duke

1. The Head of the Guard (must be willing to die)
2. Soldier
3. Soldier
4. Soldier
5. Soldier

Here is the basic layout of the story.

The Prince Hires a few separate Assassins, whom he meets at the Meeting Place, to murder his father, the Grand Duke. The Prince knows of the Royal Guard and the Mage of the Grand Duke's devotion to protecting their leader, and therefore knows he would not survive attempting to do the dirty work himself. The Prince tells of his father planning to invade Serendipity, and wants to kill him only to avoid war.

The assassins, usually whom work alone, agree to help each other kill the Grand Duke.
They head to Fell, an area where they know they will not be monitored, to discuss their plan. A soldier of the Royal Guard, however, has heard of a plot within the Royal Family to slay the king. The Mage begins his preparations to counter said coup, placing runes and traps around the Palace.

The assassins meet the Prince once again at The Meeting Place and discuss the task at hand. The Prince warns them of the runes the Mage has set and the group goes together into Connlaoth.

The Prince enters the palace through the main entrance as the Assassins climb the walls. Astrauld and the assassins make it to the top of the building and enter through an open window, a window housing a servant who screams upon seeing them.

One of the assassins slits their throat, but not quickly enough. The Royal Guard converges upon them and chains them before they can react. Astrauld, with his skills of matter manipulation, hides the weapons in his pockets as groups of coins.

On their way to the throne room, one of the soldiers steps on a rune that causes a minor explosion. The assassins begin to beat them down and take the weapons back that the guards confiscated. Astrauld changed the coins back into his two hooked blades and entered the throne room in the confusion.

Astrauld confronts the Grand Duke, who decides to give Astrauld a counter offer. Giving him political power, he asks Astrauld to murder whoever it was who decided to place a hit on him. Astrauld takes the offer and orders one of the assassins to head into the Prince's room to ultimately behead him in his bed.

Astrauld and the other assassins kill the Head of the Royal Guard and decide that, because they took the Prince's money, they should complete an "honest day's work." Astrauld attempts to kill the Grand Duke, who is protected by the Mage. The Mage succumbs to Astrauld's powers of matter and energy manipulation and Astrauld kills the Grand Duke and threatens to return if the Mage pursues him.

The Mage takes power of Connlaoth and the assassins meet once more in the Meeting Place, deciding that their skills worked well together and forming The Bladed Nomads, of which Astrauld is Grandmaster. The assassins begin to refer to him as Kingslayer henceforth.

And, not going to lie, it would be awesome if participating assassins wanted to do other stories under the guise of The Bladed Nomads, that would be awesome!
Characters must be active, though.
Thanks for reading!
